1966 Dodge Coronet

1966 Dodge Coronet

Engine: 426 CID HEMI V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 30,000 ( since rebuilt )

IT'S A HEMI!!! Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to be able to offer this beautiful and powerful 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 426 Hemi! This is the car you want if you’re looking for comfort, style and big Hemi power. The Coronet reappeared for the 1965 model year as the intermediate sized B-body car using a 117 inche wheel base. When reintroduced in this 5th generation it was the biggest selling vehicle Dodge made that year! This is the 2-door hardtop version of the car which is one of the most desirable of the period. In 1966 Coronet received a redesign and you started to be able to get the 426 hemi as an option. The 440 Magnum that was in the R/T produced 375hp but the 426 Hemi pushed out a whopping 425hp! An incredible powerplant that has to be driven to truly appreciate. This is a numbers matching vehicle that even has the blue stripe tires that were only available from Mopar, only available for the Hemi and only available in 1966! Super rare stuff we are talking about here. This engine and transmission were rebuilt 27,000 miles ago when the car just went over 100,000 miles. The 426 Hemi goes through the factory automatic transmission and ends up at the 3.08 limited slip rear end. The exterior is a beautiful red color which looks excellent with the white vinyl interior. Features include an AM radio, spare tire, power brakes, power steering, jack and a spare tire. Rally whiles and the blue stripe bias ply tires really set the car off nicely. Don’t miss your opportunity to own this very rare and desirable piece of Mopar history. This Coronet is in our Houston showroom. Come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. You can contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com

1966 Dodge Coronet

1966 Dodge Coronet

Engine: 318 CID V8
Transmission: 727 Torque Flite
Mileage: 57,958 ( undocumented )

This 1966 Dodge Coronet convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Cornet was released in the 49 lines up as MOPAr5’s first postwar body style. It would go through many different renditions throughout its 30+ years but the most memorable has to be the 5th generation line up. This example was a frame off restoration with a build book that documents the progress. Taken down to bare metal and starting from there it was painted back to its original color. The convertible top was redone as well with the black vinyl still being in excellent condition. Hit the button and watch as the she folds down exposing that beautiful blue sky Under the hood is the original numbers matching 318 which was rebuilt during the build as well. The 727 had the same attention shown, gone through and built back to factory spec. The interior in the car was redone at the same time with the bench being covered in black vinyl which shows great on this car. The factory AC is a great touch and an option rarely seen on Mopar’s especially convertibles. The original hubcaps are a great touch and give it that original look with the newer style radial tires giving it a better feel of the road. If you have been wanting a droptop MOPAR that is original but won’t break the bank this Coronet is a great candidate. Options on this AC, AM Radio, Power Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Hubcaps and Radial Tires. To view this 1966 Dodge Coronet, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1963 Dodge Polara

1963 Dodge Polara

Engine: 383-2V CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 25,815 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this rarely-seen 1963 Dodge Polara convertible for sale right now. Equipped with the standard 383-2V CID V8 putting out 305 HP and a Torqueflite transmission, this combo is easy to maintain, repair, and get parts for. The car was originally white and was re-painted the same color in the year 2000. The current owner has had the privilege of being this Polara's caretaker for almost 18 years, and the love and respect he has for the car is obvious. Options like hang-on AC, cruise control, power steering, and the early-style 15" American Racing wheels make you think it's the mid-sixties again. To continue that vibe, the owner has an aluminum Weiand four barrel intake manifold and a Holley four barrel carburetor he'll include with the car for the new owner. The tastefully restored red vinyl interior also has added seat belts, but still retains the original carpeting in the "salt and pepper" style pattern that is not being reproduced, so to see it in this original condition is very unusual. Make no mistake; this car has not been restored, only well-maintained throughout it's 55 years since it left the factory. It has a new radiator, water pump, belts, hoses, and tires, all replaced when required. This car runs as good as it looks, offering the new owner a vehicle you won't see at every car show that will get you there and home in reliable comfort. With only 7300 built over half a century ago, there are probably very few left in this condition. Don't miss this beautiful example of a car from Mopar's most exciting era of performance and design. This 1963 Dodge Polara convertible for sale in our Arizona showroom won't be here long!

1966 Dodge Dart GT

1966 Dodge Dart GT

Engine: 273ci
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 60,706 ( undocumented )

Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer this 1966 Dodge Dart for sale. This 4 barrel 273ci V8 is mated to an automatic transmission. It has been upgraded to factory Dodge disc brakes an has the factory GT emblems. The 1966 Dart remained largely the same as the 1965 models with the same engine and transmission lineup. There was a special 273 offered, however, in the D/Dart, a special drag racing edition. Also, the ball and trunion front joint was replaced with a more common U-joint and the 904 transmissions were now shifted with linkages instead of cables. The only change to the suspension was an optional, small front sway bar. An effective facelift with more squared-off lines, a new rectangular grille, and rectangular headlight bezels was introduced. The intention of the facelift was to better mimic the new Charger. The special drag racing D/Dart was classed in the D/Stock class and featured a 273 with larger Holley carb, headers, hotter cam, and manual choke. It was only offered on two-door GT models. Options include: After Market AC, AM radio, Seat Belts, radial Tires, rally wheels. The only thing it is missing is you in the driver’s seat! 1963 Dodge 330 Max Wedge

1963 Dodge 330 Max Wedge

Engine: 426 Max Wedge Stroked to 440
Transmission: 727 Torque Flite
Mileage: 100 ( since rebuilt )

This awesome 1963 Dodge 330 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 330 was Dodge’s full-size car for 62-64 and was based on the B-body. Available with anything from the slant six to the monstrous 426 there was a 330 to fit anyone’s needs. The one that garnered the most attention was of course the Max Wedge. A monstrous 426 cubic with a cross ram style intake and 2 4 barrels sitting on top it was intimidating just to look at. Made in very limited numbers they are prized and sought after today. This beauty is one of those sought-after cars making it an extremely rare find. The engine powering this full on drag car is a 440 with wedge heads and that sought after cross ram intake. Built using a 1967 440 Block this engine is putting out quite a bit more power than the original one. The 426 Ramcharger heads have been worked over giving this beast an unbelievable amount of torque. The 727 Torque flight transmission has been built to handle all that power and still retains the push button transmission. The Dana 60 rear end has been stuffed with a set of 5.13 gears allowing for unbelievable off the line acceleration. With the spool locking up both axles this car was built to go straight. The huge 32 15 Goodyear slicks are exactly what you need to get this monster to hook up. The car has had one repaint back to its original red color and even though it was 40 years ago it still shows very well. The fiberglass rear bumper helps to shave some weight off while retaining the factory look. Inside is what you would expect in a drag car with just a seat for the driver. The cage while built for safety also makes the car more ridged. The Lexan windows are fixed in place and help to shave weight. If you are looking for a nostalgic drag car this Max Wedge 330 is just that. Options on this 1963 Dodge 330 include, Seat Belt, Vinyl Interior, and Racing Wheels with Skinny’s on the front and Drag Slicks on the back. Located in our Louisville Showroom, this 1963 Dodge 330 can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1966 Dodge Charger

1966 Dodge Charger

Engine: 318 V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Auto
Mileage: 5,722 ( undocumented )

Take a step back to the mid-1960’s, when muscle cars were really coming of age with this beautiful 1966 Dodge Charger. This Indigo blue Charger packs a 318 wide poly block engine topped with a rare 2-4 barrel manifold with 2 AFB carbs, cam lift 450” Duration 272d, coupled to a 727 automatic transmission and TTI headers. You will love the power brakes, power steering, 15 X 7 Super Supreme mags and the molded hood scoop. The blue leather interior is all original and very clean! During the early-1960s, automakers were exploring new ideas in the personal luxury and specialty car segments. Chrysler, fast to enter the specialty car market, selected their Dodge Division to enter the marketplace with a mid-size B-bodied sporty car to fit between the "pony car" Ford Mustang and "personal luxury" Ford Thunderbird. The intention was to create a fastback look while sharing as much existing company hardware as possible. The Coronet-based Charger that resulted was introduced in mid-season of the 1966 model year in retaliation to the Rambler Marlin, Ford Mustang, and Plymouth Barracuda. Style-wise it was a complete departure from the Dodge's mainstream cars. The 1965 Marlin, along with the Charger that arrived during the 1966 model year, were the two cars set the standard for radical fastback design in American mid-size automobiles because it was an intermediate like the Rambler Marlin, the Charger could have been an aesthetic disaster, but long side windows prevented its sweeping roof from looking too heavy. This beautiful 1966 Charger is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

1962 Dodge Dart

Engine: 413 CID V8
Transmission: 727 Push Button
Mileage: 11,916 ( undocumented )

This 1962 Dodge Max Wedge Tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 62 Line up for Dodge had there own defined look making them highly collectible today. Not to mention the big and powerful engine you could get in on of these intermediate size cars. In 1962 the now infamous Wedge cars were released and put everyone on notice. With there 413 CI engine and massive cross ram intakes were literally taking the strips by storm. This example is sure to briong you back to thos magical days when Dodge pretty much owned the drag strips. Start with the black paint which is slick while showing off those one of a kind lines. The multiple coats of clear laid on top gives it not only a mirror finish but almost a 3D look. Let’s get down to why you really want this beast of a car. Pop the hood and an ultra- rare 413 Ramcharger lies cradled between the frame rails. The crossram intake is correct and not a cheap part by any means but gives it that I mean business look while gaining a good bit of power. Matched up to a 727 HD torque flite this thing is ready for the street or strip. Open the door and period correct interior is comfortable while looking nice. Yet still the best and coolest thing about this car ahs to be the push button trans making it as simple as pressing D and slamming the gas. Just make sure your holding on because if this monster hooks up you will be in for a ride you will soon not forget. Options on this 1962 Dodge Dart 413 Cross Ram car include Radio Delete, Cloth/Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires.
