2002 Ford Thunderbird

2002 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 3.9L V8 DOHC 32V
Transmission: 5 Speed Automatic with Over Drive
Mileage: 29,159 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a beautiful 2002 Ford Thunderbird. In 1955, the Thunderbird was revealed as a personal luxury car and changed over time until production ceased at the end of 1997. In 2002, Ford brought the Thunderbird back as a two seat model that was available until the end of 2005, during its success Ford produced over 4.4 million Thunderbirds. The eleventh generation had the same two-seat coupe/convertible layout as the first generation as well as some of the same characteristics as was on the 55’-57’ T-Birds. Because the Thunderbird shared the same DEW98 platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type, they shared interior styling particularly in the dash area, instrument panel, steering wheel and a Jaguar designed AJ-30 3.9L DOHC V8. This particular model is hiding a 3.9L V8 FI DOHC 32V engine and a 5 speed automatic transmission under the hood and has a total of only 29,159 miles. The T-Bird features a rare and desirable color: Thunderbird Ebony black, trimmed in red. This color is reminiscent of the '55 Thunderbirds which featured a similar color option. With such low miles, the car is just as clean as you'd guess, and would make a great show car, or an extremely clean driver. This Thunderbirds retain the looks and style of a classic, but all the creature comforts of a late model, so an enthusiast can get the best of both worlds. To view this 2002 Ford Thunderbird in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary

2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary

Engine: 3.9L V8 F DOHC 32V
Transmission: 5-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 39,119 ( actual )

Now for sale in the Houston showroom is this beautiful, one of very few, 2005 Ford Thunderbird Cashmere 50th anniversary car, complete with a Ford "PremiumCare" transferrable extended warranty! The warranty is good to 60,000 miles or September 2021, whichever comes first, and carries only a $100 per repair deductible! Talk about peace of mind for the purchaser of this very rare and well kept example of future classic by Ford. Covering just 39,119 miles since it rolled off of the production line in Wixom Michigan. The car debuted at the Miami Auto Show in November of 2004. Job 1 for this edition was scheduled for Jan 3, 2995. Only 1500 scheduled to be built. It started showing up at dealers in late January and customer homes by February. This one is powered by a 280hp 3.9l AJ-35 V8 engine. The engine was mated to Ford's 5R55N 5-speed automatic transmission. The AJ-30 V8 was replaced by the AJ-35 in 2003 and later Thunderbirds, bringing with it variable valve timing (VVT) and electronic throttle control (ETC) as well as 280 horsepower (210 kW) and 286 lb⋅ft (388 N⋅m) of torque. Complementing the extra power and torque provided by the AJ-35 V8, a manual shift feature for the 5-speed automatic called SelectShift was available as an option in 2003 and later Thunderbirds. With sales dropping off significantly after its first model year, Ford decided to make the 2005 model year the Thunderbird's last with no scheduled successor. The last one rolled off the assembly line on July 1, 2005. The Thunderbird was a fantastic vehicle. A luxury personal vehicle that was amazing to drive and extremely comfortable. Dealerships marking them up way over MSRP ultimately plagued the cars. It is thought to have caused the demise of the Thunderbird. However, this is your chance to pick one of the very limited Cashmere/Cashmere cars. This car was originally sold in Woodland Hills California. The commemorative 50th Anniversary features a gorgeous Cashmere tri-coat metallic paint with matching removable top and Medium Light Stone cloth convertible top and soft boot. 16 spoke, 17-inch wheels with Cashmere accented hub ring match the paint. It has a coordinated Cashmere, Stone and Soft Gold interior package including full leather Cashmere seats and Cashmere trimmed lower instrument panel, floor console and door armrests. The scoop bezel is chrome on this car. The first time since the Neiman Marcus Edition. In the trunk you will find the Hardtop cart, Hardtop cover, beige floor mats, license plate bracket and Mylar tape kit. Inside the car you will find the owner’s manual with case and an ashtray/coin cup. Features include: A/C, AM/FM radio, convertible top, hardtop, spare tire, cruise control, heated seats, power brakes, power steering, power locks, jack, power windows, tilt and telescopic wheel, power mirrors, driver and passenger airbag, leather interior, radial tires and aluminum alloy wheels. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1956 Ford F100

1956 Ford F100

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 2,436 ( since rebuilt )

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this show stopping 1956 Ford F100. This truck has gone through a complete overall and ready for it’s next car show, and fully capable of taking home the trophies. As you will notice the rear of this truck shows “Trophy Hunter” which adds some nice appeal, but for those not favoring it, this can be easily removed if you would like. Powering the beauty is a 302 CID V8 that’s been paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The truck was built by “Hill’s Hot Rods” out of Lubbock, TX back in 2011 but took over 4 years and claimed to more than $200,000 into the build. The truck also features Doug’s headers, Edlebrock carburetor, and an aluminum Be Cool radiator to ensure proper cooling of the strong running engine. The truck rides smooth with upgraded suspension to include tubular upper and lower control arms, adjustable coil over shocks in the rear, and Bilstein shocks in the front. To give the truck some nice flare, the valve covers, and air cleaner were sprayed in a very nice bronze color. The truck has a very sleek paint job with a 2-tone color combo. The lower layer is a soft cream color that is topped off with a maroon that looks almost like a root beer when shining in the sunlight. This color combo is not seen often and is certainly a head turner. If you are looking for a truck that will let you stand out in a crowd, then this is the one for you. Winning numerous awards through the years to include taking 12th place at Good Guys back in 2011. The truck sits on a nice set of Bonspeed wheels 18” in the front and 20” in the rear. Behind the wheels are SSBC brakes mounted to slotted rotors on all 4 wheels to provide plenty of stopping power. The interior of this truck is far from original and done in a nice lighter brown color. In the center of each section is a nice darker brown patterned material that gives the truck some flare. The interior flows well with the other colors throughout the exterior of the truck and is truly show quality. The panels, and headliner have been customized as well to keep uniformity throughout the vehicle. With the options of tilt wheel, A/C, power steering, power brakes, and door poppers this truck is ready for a show.
