For sale in our Atlanta Showroom is this 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger. The 1970 Dart's dual taillamps were given over to the badge-engineered Plymouth Valiant Scamp, while the 1971 Dart received new smaller quad taillamps that would be used through 1973. The Custom 2-door hardtop coupe became the Swinger, and the standard Swinger became the Swinger Special. With optional hood scoops and blackout hood treatment, the car was advertised a performance car. A new audio option became available for 1971: Chrysler's cassette-recorder. Unlike the 8-track tapes, the cassette player was relatively compact, and it was mounted on the console or on its own floor-mount casing. This unit offered an available microphone in which one could record their own dictation. The Swinger 340, Dart's performance model, was replaced by the Demon 340 with optional hood scoops and blackout hood treatment. In 1971, Chrysler abandoned their longstanding corporate practice of installing left-hand-threaded wheel studs on the left side of the vehicle; all-wheel studs on the Dart thenceforth used conventional right-hand threads. This Dart Swinger for sale come with a rebuilt transmission from 5 years ago and 318ci engine and automatic transmission. It has an older repaint and with a little love and care make a good driver. For the Georgia Bulldog lovers out there it has black and white houndstooth cloth seats in addition to the red exterior might making it a great tribute to your favorite team. This 1962 Dodge Max Wedge Tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 62 Line up for Dodge had there own defined look making them highly collectible today. Not to mention the big and powerful engine you could get in on of these intermediate size cars. In 1962 the now infamous Wedge cars were released and put everyone on notice. With there 413 CI engine and massive cross ram intakes were literally taking the strips by storm. This example is sure to briong you back to thos magical days when Dodge pretty much owned the drag strips. Start with the black paint which is slick while showing off those one of a kind lines. The multiple coats of clear laid on top gives it not only a mirror finish but almost a 3D look. Let’s get down to why you really want this beast of a car. Pop the hood and an ultra- rare 413 Ramcharger lies cradled between the frame rails. The crossram intake is correct and not a cheap part by any means but gives it that I mean business look while gaining a good bit of power. Matched up to a 727 HD torque flite this thing is ready for the street or strip. Open the door and period correct interior is comfortable while looking nice. Yet still the best and coolest thing about this car ahs to be the push button trans making it as simple as pressing D and slamming the gas. Just make sure your holding on because if this monster hooks up you will be in for a ride you will soon not forget. Options on this 1962 Dodge Dart 413 Cross Ram car include Radio Delete, Cloth/Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this one-of-a-kind 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger two door hardtop in our Scottsdale, AZ showroom. What's someone to do when you want a big block, high performance A-body car but you can't find a 383 car and you'll never afford a Hemi Dart? You build one! This particular example was completely restored six years ago from a rust-free California body. Originally a 340 4-spd car, it was the perfect candidate for a full transformation from a respectable performance car to an all-out street bruiser. The equipment list reads like a Summit Racing catalog, using only the best factory and aftermarket performance goodies you can buy. All this adds up to a 440 that's now displacing 452 cubes that breathe into a TTI 2.5" exhaust system, a heavy-duty 4-speed manual transmission (from the 340 car), and an 8 3/4 rear axle. It puts 600-plus horses to the ground, and it's awesome! Drivetrain was completely refurbished about 3500 miles ago. A brake upgrade makes sure this little Swinger stops reliably every time. Since he bought in May, 2015, the current owner has added a full array of AutoMeter gauges, a hidden Custom Autosound remote-controlled stereo with auxillary media ports playing through JBL rear speakers. New redline radials on classic Cragar chrome wheels give this bad-to-the-bone Dart its classic '60's musclecar look. This is truly a unique build that will draw attention wherever you drive it, and it'll get you there fast!!! Don't miss it. If you dont jump on it one of your friends might or even your neighbor. Yesterday’s thinkers are todays buyers so dont wait to think about it. To see 100-plus pictures and a video of this awesome 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 340 CID V8Transmission: 3-Speed AutomaticMileage: 300 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars now has a very special and beautiful 1968 Dodge Dart GTS Convertible available in Houston! This one is powered by a numbers matching 340 CID V8 engine that goes through a factory TorqueFlite transmission. This engine has only covered less than 500 miles since the car was restored in 2013. Exterior is finished in a red with black top combination. Features include an AM radio, automatic convertible top, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, jack, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires. This is part of the fourth generation of Dodge Dart vehicles produced between 1967 and 1976. The Dart was substantially redesigned for the 1967 model year. It received new styling, revised steering systems, wider front track and frame rail spacing. Redesigned K-members were added to accept the larger engines that Dodge had in mind for the car. In 1967 you would also notice the rear window with inverse curves, creating a new and unique appearance at the rear of a greenhouse, but designed to collect snow! The 170 CID I6 was dubbed simply “Dart”, with the 270 and GT carrying on mostly unchanged. In late 1967 the GTS came out in limited quantities due to it’s lateness, but the 1968 was arguably improved anyway, by fitting the new high-output 340 CID V8! That is the car that you are looking at here. The first of the 340 GTS cars. Aside from the engine, changes for 1968 were relatively subtle. The park and turn lights in the grille were moved slightly inboard and made round. Side marker lights were added to the front fenders and rear quarter panels, to comply with newly introduced Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. Shoulder harnesses (separate, this year and until 1973, from the lap belts) and non-glare matte finish on the windshield wiper arms were also part of the 1968 federally mandated safety package. This is a hard to find vehicle and a perfect addition to the garage. This beautiful Dart is in our Houston showroom. Come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this stunning 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. As 2nd tier muscle cars, many have forgotten its sleek styling, awesome performance and unique appeal. Restored clean Darts are a bit hard to find but this one is sure to impress as it is fully equipped and built to exquisite detail. This show winning Sherwood Green example is simply beautiful! Originally sold from Dadeland Dodge in Miami Florida this car has real history and plenty of purchase and service documents to back it up. In 2006 this Dart Swinger underwent a meticulous full frame off rotisserie restoration using all the original sheet metal and as much of the original parts as possible. Keeping to its original design style and flavor the vehicle was appropriately upgraded to a 360 V8 with all new hardware. A driving show winner example was the goal and its execution of the project was, as you can see, phenomenal! You may never see another Dodge Dart Swinger of this caliber, let alone have the opportunity to buy one. The overall project maintained the original sleeper look as the car retains an original bench seat and column shift automatic. A few little chromed cosmetics to the engine compartment do not take away from its original splendor as many of the hoses, clamps, hardware and markings are just as they would be from the Dart Swinger assembly line. This is one sharp Dart and you will not find another one that has been cared for so meticulously. Snatch this Swinger up before someone else gets her! This Dart is loaded with options including air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, AM radio, vinyl interior and aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires. Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer this 1966 Dodge Dart for sale. This 4 barrel 273ci V8 is mated to an automatic transmission. It has been upgraded to factory Dodge disc brakes an has the factory GT emblems. The 1966 Dart remained largely the same as the 1965 models with the same engine and transmission lineup. There was a special 273 offered, however, in the D/Dart, a special drag racing edition. Also, the ball and trunion front joint was replaced with a more common U-joint and the 904 transmissions were now shifted with linkages instead of cables. Engine: 451 Big Block V8Transmission: 2 Speed PowerglideMileage: 67107 ( undocumented )
For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 dodge Dart. This bad to the bone Dart is both show and go! The meticulous restoration was a no expense spared job that included a lot of high performance goodies. Power comes from a built 451 based from a 400 block that features aluminum main caps, Veolia Pistons, Bill Mille aluminum rods, 3.375 billet crank and roller cam and lifters. The cylinder heads are aluminum Indy 440 1 cylinder heads as well as an Indy aluminum intake manifold and a CNC ported valley pan. It's equipped with a Milidon oiling system, Milidon oil pan, custom push rods, K Motion valve springs, Stainless steel valves with lockers and retainers, Mopar performance aluminum water pump and a Holley 1050 Dominator carburetor. Exhaust and the menacing sounds that emit from this power house come out of custom headers, exhaust and Borla mufflers. This power needs something just as stout to transfer the power back to the rear wheels. Accomplishing that is a TCI Power Glide transmission, TCI torque converter, Jerry Bickel Chromoly drive shaft with billet trans and rear end yokes, Strange 9 inch with 40 spline spool, 4.56:1 gears and Strange 40 spline axles. Putting the power to ground is no easy task. Accomplishing this feat are Strange double adjustable rear shocks, Chassis Works ladder bar, Strange struts, Strange Rack and Pinion steering and 19.5 Mickey Thompsons wrapped around Weld Racing Aluma Star wheels. Up front are 26x5 Good Years also wrapped around Weld Racing Aluma Stars. Slowing things down is drama free thanks to a set of Strange four wheel disc brakes, Strange master cylinder and steel braided brake lines. Safety is one thing that shouldn't be taken for granted and certainly not missed. This one is ready to hold you in place and keep you safe. Doing so is a custom 12 point roll cage and Stroud 5 point racing belts. Other notable build details include a Hurst roll control line lock, Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, Griffin radiator, Barry Grant fuel system (400 pump & 4 port regulator), Painless wiring harness, Jazz 15 gallon fuel cell and of course beautiful workmanship that shows through and through. Engine: 413 CID V8Transmission: AutomaticMileage: 50534 ( actual )
This stunning Dodge Dart 330 has been meticulously maintained over the years and only has 50,534 original miles! All original interior and the rare 413 CID Golden Lion V8 topped with dual four-barrel carburetors’ sitting under the hood is backed by a push button Torque-flite automatic transmission. The Seneca, Pioneer, and Phoenix trim levels were dropped; trim levels became Dart, Dart 330, and Dart 440. The Polara 500, offered in 2-door hardtop, 4-door hardtop, and convertible styles, was dimensionally identical but not officially a Dart by dint of its "Polara 500" badging. The Polara 500 was not built or sold in Canada, and the Dart models were the same as in the U.S. except that the base model was badged Dart 220. The 1962 Dart, like the Plymouth, was on a new lightweight unibody "B" platform, featuring Chrysler's well-received "Torsion-Aire" torsion bar front suspension and asymmetric rear leaf springs. The rigidity gained through the nearly pure unibody platform combined with the suspension's low unsprang weight and near-ideal geometry provided sound handling, braking, and acceleration; the latter especially with the mid-year 415 HP "Ramcharger" 413 CID V8 which was aimed primarily at sanctioned drag racing, where it quickly broke performance records. For sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a 1959 Dodge D-100. From 1957 to 1959, Dodge proposed the Sweptside pickup, a rival to the Chevrolet Cameo Carrier, but it never became a best-seller. A flat-sided (and thus wider) "Sweptline" cargo box came in 1959. The company also adopted the standard pickup truck numbering scheme, also used by Ford and GM at that time. Thus, the ½ ton Dodge was now called the D100. A traditional separate-fender body "Utiline" version was also built which had a GVWR of 9,000 lb (4,100 kg). The D-100 was considered a workings man’s truck back in the day. It’s somewhat of a rarity to locate these in good shape because of this. However, this owner has been able to do just that. This 1959 is only a 2-OWNER vehicle! That’s right, just 2 owners throughout its lifetime! This vehicle was bought and owned by a gentleman in California way back in 1959 (Owner provided original bill of sale). He held on to it and used this vehicle all the way up until about 2 years ago, when it was then purchased by the present owner today. The original owner loved this truck so much, he gave it a front/back full restoration (approximately 2006) a few years before selling this vehicle. Restoring it back to the shape he had previously purchased/received it in 1959. This vehicle is powered by a 318 V-8 engine and 4- speed transmission. Other eye-catching features include: Very clean interior, old school air-vent in the cab, chrome grill/hubcaps highlighting the word “Dodge” on each (No mistaking this one for a Chevy) & in my opinion, a beautiful looking woodgrain bed laid throughout. This most certainly was a quality work truck back in the day, but it’s ready to go to work for you now! To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1959 Dodge D-100 please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. For more information or to schedule an appointment to view this vehicle in person, please call the Dallas showroom at (817)310-9400 or email us directly at Dallas@GatewayClassicCars.com.
