For sale in our Atlanta Showroom is this 1993 Dodge Viper. The first prototype was tested in January 1989. It debuted in 1991 with two pre-production models as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500. The Snake went on sale in January 1992 as the RT/10 Roadster. The centerpiece of the car was its engine. The Lamborghini Company, then owned by Chrysler Corporation, designed the V10 for the Viper by recasting the block and heads in an aluminum alloy, and was based on the Chrysler LA V8 engine. The engine weighs 711 lbs and produces 400 bhp at 4600 rpm and 465 lb·ft at 3600 rpm, and thanks to the long-gearing allowed by the engine the car has some fuel economy. The body is a tubular steel frame with resin transfer molding (RTM) fiberglass panels. The Viper lacks modern driver aids such as traction control and anti-lock brakes on purpose to give you the feel in the seat of your pants. It completes a quarter mile in 12.6 seconds and has a maximum speed of over 150 mph. Its large tires allow the car to average close to one lateral g in corners, placing it among the elite cars of its day. The car is made for driving and features inflatable lumbar support and adjustable seats. Along with the absence of exterior door handles, the vehicle lacks side windows and a roof. The battery is located in the sealed compartment over the rear wheels to increase rear-end weight and traction. Options include: AM/FM cassette radio, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, seat belts, anti theft system, leather seats, alloy wheels. Engine: 8.0L V10 F OHVTransmission: 6 Speed ManualMileage: 4,909 ( actual )
In 1999 Motor Trend Magazine proclaimed it the “fastest street car we’ve ever tested.” Even in 2018, there aren’t too many cars, American or foreign, that can outperform this Beast. SPEED, HANDLING, STOPPING POWER, and, oh yeah, did we mention BEAUTY? This 1999 Dodge Viper is equipped with Hennessey’s Venom 650R package. Shipped new from the Dealership to Hennessey in 1999, this Dodge Viper was transformed from a 400HP growler of an 8.0 Liter V-10 to a 650HP Raving Monster. With only 4,909 original miles, this Viper blasts from zero to 60mph in 3.3 seconds, a quarter mile later and you’re at 131.5 mph - and for those willing to push the limits (on a closed track, of course) the top speed is 215 mph! Just a quick look at what it would have cost to transform this monster in 1999 here is an idea. The $37,500 stand-alone engine upgrades include all that ridiculously outrageous mechanical Hennessy wizardry enchantments, such as enlarged cylinder bores, forged steel connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, whole assembly balanced and blueprinted, Hennessey cylinder heads that are ported, polished, Extrude-Honed and allows for bigger stainless steel valves and seats, new guides, double springs, and titanium retainers, etc.,etc.,etc., you get the idea. This Viper absolutely has the great looks to back up all of that performance! Or, more accurately, it GETS THE LOOKS!! This Viper has the $14,000 Hennessy aerodynamic fiberglass Body Upgrade. The fascia has a much more sleek and refined look than the standard Viper, kind of like Cinderella before the clock strikes midnight. The functional integrated rear wing absolutely completes the portrait of a beautiful car while helping with down force. Yes, it does go fast, but don’t worry about stopping, you’ll have a $12,000 Brembo Braking System at your foot to bring you to a very quick stop. And just to make sure you can fulfill your dreams of knowing what it feels like to be a NASCAR driver (in this very much street legal car) this Viper has driver and passenger-side racing seats complete with 5-point harnesses (standard seat belts are also installed for those days when you just don’t have time to strap on the cool belts). This Viper might as well be nicknamed the “Silver Bullet,” because of the speed, yes; but, also the exterior is a gorgeous Viper Silver Metallic color with wide black stripes professionally placed in the traditional Viper manner, from bumper to bumper. The interior is beautifully meshed in red & black leather. While this Viper most certainly has all the ‘Go-Fast’ mechanics a drag racer dreams of, the truth is, this Viper has been babied its entire life. Originally purchased by a Floridian car collector for his wife, the car spent its first 14 years driven very sparingly. Not much changed when it went to its second (and current) owner who lives in Colorado. The current owner purchased the Viper with 3,515 miles and has only driven it to its current 4,909 original miles, having only completed maintenance (synthetic) oil changes and added the aforementioned black colored stripes. Engine: 8.0L V10 F OHVTransmission: 6 Speed ManualMileage: 43,171 ( actual )
Now featured in our Denver showroom is this tastefully modified 2001 Dodge Viper GTS dyno’ed at over 430 horsepower to the rear wheels! After the Viper hit the market in the early 90’s, these cars have grown a huge following and is clear to see why given the V10 engine in this lightweight coupe and sleek lines. 2001 was one of the last years of the second generation of Vipers which saw an increase of 15 horsepower to 415 and had anti-lock braking introduced. This Viper specifically has had a few modifications including VIPAIR intake and smooth tubes for better flow coming in and helping it breathe out well is the Belanger headers and cat-back exhaust that not only adds power, but a superb sound! These modifications also have brought this Viper up to over 430 horsepower at the rear wheels! Unitrax half shafts were added as well to stand up to the additional power and the rear end was equipped with a set of 3.73:1 gear ratio for quicker acceleration off the line than the stock 3.07:1. Once you slide in and get behind the wheel of this Viper, the excitement starts to set in. Turn the key and the V10 comes to life! Put it in gear, roll into the throttle, and hold on as all that power tries to push you through the back of your seat. Once the RPM’s creep up and you let off the throttle, a symphony of pops and bangs and growls bellow from the exhaust. With the discontinuation of the Viper from the Dodge brand, there has been a steady uptick in demand for these cars and have steadily been increasing in value. This 2001 Dodge Viper is a great candidate for someone who is looking for a fun car to take out on those sunny days and weekends without having to worry about the drastic depreciation as the miles tick upwards. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2001 Dodge Viper in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is ecstatic to offer this immaculately maintained 2002 Dodge Viper RT/10. For the better part of a quarter century, the Viper has been the apple of many-a-person’s eye. If you’re reading this advertisement, chances are you had the iconic poster hanging on your childhood bedroom wall, and possibly now in your current workspace. Dodge has relentlessly proven time and time again that the term “Supercar” doesn’t apply strictly to foreign builds. This specific Viper is a tremendous example of a well-cherished machine at only 13,000 miles. You’re viewing one of the most desired color/trim packages that Dodge has ever offered for the snake. Finished in Dark Graphite Metallic, you may be familiar with the fact that this color was only available for this ONE production year. This Viper is 1 of 545 RT/10 Roadsters produced for the entirety of 2002, and 1 of 186 to be finished in this beautiful and highly-desired shade. With the 8.0 liter V10 under the hood, and a 6 speed stick backing the 450 horses, this Viper will propel you from 0-60mph in 4 seconds flat, and run you a quarter mile within 12. Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 1977 Dodge Aspen. 1977 was the second year of the Aspen with little changes. A few options were available to include the R/T package adding a “Super Pak” option. This consisted of front and rear spoilers, wheel opening flares and louvred rear windows. A new stripe kit was also added as well. An R/T equipped with this package became a "Super R/T”. This Aspen is powered by a 340 CID V8 that has plenty of power for this little car. The engine is paired to a new 4-speed manual transmission and has also had a new carburetor installed by Tech Auto. This car is a good driver quality car with a lot of potential. The interior is in good condition and makes this a much more unique vehicle. This Dodge Aspen is a classic that is what I would qualify as a “sleeper car” with the light weight, rugged looks, and powerful engine, it’s sure to throw those little Mustangs and Camaros for a loop. Some additional features include: power steering, power brakes, A/C, seatbelts, and much more.
