The Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer this 1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. We don’t have enough space on this description to fill all the restored detail of this 4 speed Karmann. Let’s start off with the full restoration all of all new metal parts replaced which included left and right front lower fenders along with the rocker panels and lower quarter panels, and battery tray. The rear floor pans halves were replaced and raised 3 inches and the rear wheels stretched 1 ½ inches per side to fit the 17” wheels. The body work was primed and blocked twice before the paint with a high quality primer. The body was then covered with a Dupont chroma premier basecoat clear coat paint in chestnut brown over Indian red. The suspension and brakes were next on this restoration project. The front custom beam was narrowed and the shock towers are under the gas tank. The Airkewld 2 ½ front drop spindles are complimented with new kingpins and linkpins with new shocks front and rear with adjustable rear left springs. New tie rods and ends, Airkewld front and rear bad brake disc kit with cross drilled rotors and front 4 piston calipers stop this Ghia very well. The 17” billet polished and painted Porsche Fuch Wheel with a 7” wide with an offset deep dish rear wheels. All new metal brake lines and grommets, stainless steel braded soft brake lines and a new e-brake cables finishes the brake system. The 1500 single port engine has been completely rebuilt and painted. The engine exhales via a new stock exhaust system and looks amazing. This 64 has new heater cables, new engine bay seals, new firewall insulation, new starter and bushings, and a new clutch, throw out bearing and cable to clamp the power. All of the body chrome trim has been replaced or re-chromed along with the rubber seals and gaskets. New front and bumpers and new windshield with window rubber. Lenny Coop custom made the interior with square weave carpet, mohair headliner and two tone door panels with cloth seats. A new dash pad was placed and your eyes will read the restored speedo working properly because of the new cabling. The wood steering wheel is the great touch to give you the feel of the road. The last piece of this incredible build is the electrical system. All new WireWorks complete wiring harness was installed, new 12 volt bulbs and original dash switches, new 12 volt wiper motor and horn. This car is really done with a level of craftsmanship that is hard to duplicate. If you have ever wanted a Karmann Ghia, this is the example you have been waiting for your entire life. Add to that the rare Gulf Blue paint and this is nearly a one of a kind ride! This has been faithfully restored and still retains nearly all OEM equipment, plus a few extras like the roof rack and rare 6 volt interior fan. Rolling around on the original steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and new bias ply whitewalls this car motors about the way one would expect from a brand new 1963 VW Beetle and it’s a pleasure to drive. 1965 Volkswagen Beetle

1965 Volkswagen Beetle

Engine: 4 Cyl
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 19,784 ( undocumented )

This 1965 Volkswagen Beetle is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This sinister black beetle is one of the meanest looking and best performing beetle we have had in our showroom. The black paint is slick and shows well but this bug has more than just good looks. The fiberglass hood was used to shave off a couple more LB's. The 145 series tire on the front VS the 215’s on the back begin to give you an idea of what this “Peoples car” is all about. With the hood having that classic tilt opening up top the story is becoming even more clear, this beetle was built to run. The built engine has a ton of aftermarket EMPI parts that give this air-cooled 4 enough power to really open any enthusiasts eyes. The split intake with a set of EMPI carbs really catches the eye while the note coming out of the custom exhaust lets everyone know you mean business. The 4-speed transmission is an absolute blast to shift thru with the pattern feeling tight and close just as it should. The interior is rather original other than that huge tach and a couple gauges added to the dash. That of course is until you see the full roll bar making it safer while adding some rigidity. If you have been wanting to get into one of a bug but have not found one that gets the blood pumping when you drive it this black beetle may be the one. Options on this 1965 Volkswagen Beetle include, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. This 1965 Volkswagen Beetle is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. 1963 Volkswagen Transporter

1963 Volkswagen Transporter

Engine: 1300 CC 4-Cylinder OHV
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 10,000 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this wonderful 1963 Volkswagen Transporter. This body style is the one to have and this little sweetheart even has the soft convertible top that when you put it back, you can let the sunshine in. Unlike some 23W models out there today, this one actually started life as a what it is today. Owned by a prominent VW collector, this is one of three buses he has in his collection. Having logged a trouble-free 10,000 miles since the engine was rebuilt, this 23W will reliably get you wherever you want to go. Throughout his long ownership, everything that's ever needed attention was attended to. It's been painted and a new interior was sewn up for it several years ago. Although the interior looks period-correct, it's not exactly as it left Wolfsburg in 1963. Only judges at a VW concours show would know the difference. These VW buses have gotten really popular over the recent years and are worth big bucks to overseas investors and collectors. To see 100-plus pictures and a video of this 1963 Volkswagen 23W Transporter, please visit http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/SCT/34/1963-Volkswagen-Transporter for more information or to schedule an appointment to view this vehicle in person, please call the Scottsdale showroom at 623-900-4884 or email us directly at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com
