The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1963 Ford Fairlane 500. The Fairlane name was moved to Ford's new intermediate, introduced for the 1962 model year, to bridge the gap between the compact Ford Falcon and the full-sized Galaxie, making it a competitor for GM's A-body "senior compacts", the Dodge Custom 880, and the AMC Rambler. Like the Falcon, the Fairlane had a unibody frame, but the body incorporated an unusual feature Ford dubbed torque boxes, four boxed structures in the lower body structure designed to absorb road shock by moving slightly in the vertical plane. Suspension was a conventional short-long arm independent arrangement in front, with Hotchkiss drive in the rear. The Fairlane was initially offered only in two-door or four-door sedan body styles. The Fairlane's standard engine was the 170 CID 2.8 L six, which is in this particular vehicle in our showroom. The trim level of Fairlane 500 model had more decorative trim, such as a wider chrome stripe down the side and three bullets on the rear quarter panels. This black beauty has a great curb appeal with the wide walls and red interior. This is great daily driver, weekend getaway car, or show winner. Options include: Bias ply tires, hub cabs, seat belts, AM/FM radio, vinyl interior, white wall tires. Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this stunning 1963 Ford Fairlane Drag Wagon. The name is derived from Henry Ford's estate, Fair Lane, near Dearborn, Michigan. This 1963 Ford Fairlane wagon has been a drag racer in the Pacific Northwest for many years.it has extensive race history with Oregon Ford Dealers association,a very historic car that spent a lot of its life owned by Ford motor company and was on Ford’s race team it was restored a couple years ago with all decals placed in original location. After it's time with Ford, it was later sold to Mooneyes Equipment, raced in Oregon, California, and even Japan! We have seen many Thunderbolt Tributes, but never one based on a wagon, and this one is even better because it has real history. It has a modernized engine, yet the exterior retains older paint and graphics. Fantastic! The car sits right and the staggered steel wheels with long Moroso studs, which cannot be beat. The rear suspension and wide 11.5" Mickeys are nicely tucked underneath and don’t really hint at their increased capability. The red interior offers a nice contrast and doesn’t dig the Sun sweep tachometer on the dash and the roll-bar that extends back into the cargo area. The stock bench and steering wheel look great! The engine is the best part of the car and sets it apart from the small blocks we typically seen in wannabe T-bolts and Fairlane drivers. It combines a 427 block with twin 600 CFM carbs under a proper looking airbox and T-bolt headlight duct system. The transmission is a built C6. If you’re ready to stand out in a crowd or simply haul “butt” away from them, this is the vehicle for you! Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to offer this sharp 1961 Ford Fairlane for sale. It is turn key and ready to go with only about 5,000 miles on the 351 V8 engine since being rebuilt. This car has the big body luxury feel with the get up and go of a Classic American Muscle car. For 1961, Ford smoothed the sides of the Fairlane. The designers also shortened and angled the fins, starting at the front door handles and flowing back to the rear end of the car. An additional cut-line was placed on the front fenders, ending at a smooth driver’s side door. The front end was also less elaborate, making the car substantially smoother. Emphasizing the space-age look, the taillights went to the round jet-engine look along with the rest of the Ford line. Large, roomy, and pleasantly styled, the 1960 and 1961 Ford Fairlane is surprisingly rare today, though the variety of configurations mean that there is likely a Fairlane to fit virtually any need if it can be found. The overall paint and body of this ’61 is in great condition and shines bright in the sun. Most recognize the Fairlane for its stylish grille and tail lights. The red paint and Cragar rims with offset tires make this ’61 Ford have an aggressive appearance. The custom gray cloth interior with leather trim show minor wear and look great. All the chrome trim, door handles, and bumpers still shine with a mirror like finish. This car has the perfect mix of classic car feel with more updated hot rod style. The dash seems to be original except for the extra gauges and steering wheel. If you are looking for the perfect car to take to car shows, impress your car buddies, maybe your next pro street, or even your first muscle car than this is the car for you. This 1961 Ford Fairlane is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this amazing survivor, 1958 Ford Fairlane Skyliner Retractable Hard Top Convertible. Rescued from a barn in the Indiana countryside, along with several other vehicles, this 1958 Skyliner is quite the find. One of fewer than 15,000 units produced for the 1958 model year. The top still functions, however, it is a bit temperamental and could use a little work. Mechanically, the car is sound, and runs and drives just fine. This rare little gem would be a great car to drive and enjoy or buckle down and restore. Either way, you’ll be the proud owner of an incredibly unique vehicle that will draw a crowd each time you lower that massive top into the cavernous truck. Equipped with the 352 Thunderbird Interceptor 4 bbl V8 and Cruise-o-matic automatic transmission, as well as, 2-tone paint, tweed interior, spotlight driver’s side rear view mirror, fender skirts, continental kit, and power steering. Assembled in Kansas City, Kansas January 29, 1958, the car has been in the current owner’s care since 2012 and was driven regularly. Engine: 427 CID V8 EngineTransmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 6,600 ( undocumented )
Philadelphia Gateway Classic Cars welcomes a new Fairlane to the fold. This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 equipped with a 1965 427 C.I. Factory Crate Motor and 4 speed manual transmission is a BAD car. The Fairlane name stood for a certain level of luxury and comfort. Not in this case though. This Fairlane 500 is inspired by it’s racing cousin the THUNDERBOLT. The car was redone in 2006. The body was completely stripped and returned to what is believed to be the factory color. No panels needed to be replaced. It is done in a deep Maroon. Of course, the Thunderbolt teardrop hood scoop has been added. When you open the hood on this car you are overwhelmed by engine. The Thunderbolt style grille fed induction system makes it clear that this car is built to run. Large tube thunderbolt reproduction headers, MSD electronic ignition, high output starter and an aluminum water pump are some of the performance modifications done to this Fairlane. The rear is a 9 inch Ford unit with 3:50 gears. Inside the car is the stock interior in excellent condition. There is a 60’s style column tachometer and a tri gauge setup under the dash to monitor the vitals. The race car feel means no frills on this car it is radio delete and a bench with floor shifter. The look, the feel, the sound it is all there but the best is yet to come. Turn the key and be prepared to be impressed. This car SCREAMS. This 1964 Fairlane grinds the asphalt. There is no doubt that the 427 CI Big Block Ford is a force to be reckoned with. Smooth acceleration and firm shifts send the message that there is allot more left under the hood to be released when the time is right. To view this 1964 Ford Fairlane. in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Engine: 427 CID V8Transmission: 4- Speed ManualMileage: 250 ( since rebuilt )
Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this beautifully restored 1958 Ford Fairlane. The 1958 had fashionable quad headlights, a grille that matched the 1958 Thunderbird, and other styling changes as well. This beautiful machine is powered by a beastly 427 CID V8 from a ’65 Ford that has been rebuilt roughly 250 miles ago. This engine is paired to a smooth shifting 4-speed transmission that was rebuilt alongside the engine by HP Racing Services. The car also features a comp cam, MSD ignition, T&D rockers, Scat rotating assembly 488 stoker kit, Edlebrock performance heads and intake, Diamond pistons, and a Griffin radiator to keep this monster cool. The car also features a 390 rear-end with Trac-Lock and an SS-750 Super Street Carb from Quick Fuel Technologies. All the mechanical work was professionally done by Bob Lapole’s Auto Express. This car was stored away since 1975 and brought back to life roughly 4 years ago when the current owner purchased it. The exterior of this car is a beautiful green and white combination and shows great. The chrome work is in great condition as well with little to no pitting throughout. This ’58 Fairlane was resprayed about 2 years ago to near the original color combination. The paint work is one worth seeing in person as the photos don’t do it justice. If you’re looking for something to turn heads, then hop in this beast and let it loose down the road. The interior of the car is just as clean as the outside and makes this car show worthy. The interior being restored to original condition truly takes you back in time. If you’re a fan of a classic look and still have enough power sitting behind the wheel to toss you back in the seat, then this is the car for you. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a beautiful 1959 Ford Fairlane. A mid-year model crossover, the '59 Fords were quite the mixed bag of badging. At various shows you'll often find patrons arguing whether it's a Fairlane, Fairlane 500, Galaxie, or Galaxie 500. Truth be known, they were actually all one in the same. Taking on the bigger and boatier lines of the Thunderbird, the Galaxies truly took on big bodied form, superseding the Ford Fairlanes. Continuing the Fairlane's roll as Ford's full-sized sedan, they had various options in various trims. This particular Fairlane being a two-door, still has a sporty feel, while maintaining the room needed for a family. This particular '59 Ford for sale left the factory with a 200 horsepower 292 Y-block engine. It's since been replaced with the more modern 5.0 liter (302 cubic inch) small block Ford V8. With performance goodies like headers and dual exhaust, this small block Ford rumbles and pushes this 1959 Ford Fairlane for sale along with ease. Backing the small block Ford is an automatic transmission. Built for easy cruising, this 1959 Ford for sale is eager to take a trip down to local show or drive in movie! The exterior is a mild custom, with a two-tone black and silver paint scheme. With fins and chrome like the epitome of any late 50s cruiser, this Fairlane for sale has looks for days! With black painted "steelies" adorned with baby moons and beauty rings, wrapped in Goodyear radial tires, this car has a real 50s hot rod look. The interior is no different, with silver and gray vinyl interior. With benches both front and back, this car has plenty of room for you and a group of your friends and family. It's a real "drive-in special." A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. This 1960 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1960 Thunderbird was the last year for what is now known as the Square birds. A rather distinctly different car than original baby birds as the second-generation cars are much bigger and can seat 4 adults comfortably. This beautiful red example has gone through a pain staking restoration with the finished Bird being one the best I have seen. Lugged out of a junk yard 15 years ago this was a solid bird to begin with. The red paint was laid down nice and smooth with the result looking like glass. The trim and chrome on the car are exceptionally clean and remind you why these birds are classic late 50’s. Those classic wire knock offs are the perfect fit on this 60 Bird. Under the hood you will find a very clean engine bay that is as clean as they come. The period corrects 352 with its true to form yellow valve covers really putting their exclamation point under the hood. The Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed is a smooth shifting transmission that handles all the power of the 352 with ease. Inside this plush 4-seater a fresh interior has been done in red and white vinyl making for a great contrast. The middle console that flows into the back separating the buckets is one of the coolest features to come in a factory car. If you have been wanting to get yourself into a square bird that is flashy and luxurious this one must be on your list. Options on this 1960 Bird include, AM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior and Knock Off Wheels wrapped in Bias PLY White Wall Tires. To view this car in full detail with HD pictures and video on this 1960 Ford Thunderbird call our Louisville showroom at (812)-294-1555, or email us at Louisville@Gatewayclassiccars.com
