Engine: 390 V8Transmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 16,128 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1967 Mustang Hardtop for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This 1967 Mustang is a true S code car with a 390 cubic inch V8 and 4 speed transmission with 16,128 miles since restoration. The included Marti report indicates that this car was built at San Diego on 11/11/1966. The window sticker, also with the car, includes the GT equipment group, limited-slip differential, courtesy light group, console, deluxe steering wheel, power steering, Selectaire conditioner, AM radio and tinted glass. The following is from an article on Hagerty.com: “Frequently overlooked by the scrum chasing mighty Cobra Jets and K-Code 289s is the 390-cid S-Code Mustang, produced with little fanfare in 1967-69. That relative lack of collectors’ attention may well make S-Code Mustangs the market’s unsung hero. Although the 390-inch V-8 is roughly 165 pounds heavier than the thin-wall 289, its good breathing produced impressive output: up to 325 horsepower and 427 pound-feet of torque. That’s within spitting distance of the 428 Cobra Jet’s 335 hp and 440 lb-ft (spitting distance being 3.7 percent fewer horses and 3.0 percent less torque, assuming Ford’s rating methods for both engines were consistent). Their low profile in the market has resulted in values that are steady, less subject to whims of fad and fashion. The 390 was based on the FE-series V-8s introduced in 1958 for Thunderbirds and Edsels. The FE-series persisted well into the 1970s, installed in everything from pickups to Cammer-powered drag cars and Le Mans-winning GT40s. It began flexing its muscle in the redesigned 1967 Mustang’s wider engine compartment.” To view this beautiful 1967 Mustang, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at email@example.com. For sale in our Detroit Showroom is an absolutely gorgeous 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. Upon its official debut in 1965, the Ford Mustang was Ford's most successful launch since the Model A. This iconic machine essentially created the term "Pony Car" and has been influencing the sports-car market ever since its birth. The Mustang's release took the entire automotive industry by storm. It was only anticipated that Ford would sell less than 100,000 Mustangs upon its arrival into the automotive world. Boy, were they wrong! Ford produced over 1 million Mustangs within the first 18 months of its production due to the enormous demand. This meticulously maintained Mustang is sporting a beautiful metallic Warp Blue paint job that is sure to turn heads wherever you decide to steer this Pony around. The inside is a very clean, two-tone blue vinyl interior that is equipped with the bucket seats and some additional gauges which sets off this Mustang perfectly. This particular Mustang has more than enough power to get your motors going. It is equipped with a period correct, 390 CID V8 that has just 3,400 miles since being rebuilt and provides a very satisfying rumble as soon as you start this beautiful Pony. This potent V8 is matted to a Top Loader 4-Speed manual transmission that was also professionally rebuilt and effortlessly glides thru the gears allowing this Mustang to reach cruising speeds with ease. The Mustang rests comfortably on a set of Mustang wheels with a set of Dunlop radial tires. This pretty Pony also comes with an AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, vinyl interior, and Seat Belts for safety. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this quintessential example of a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe! The Ford Mustang was introduced unto the world on April 17th, 1964. The Mustang, conceptualized from the already popular Ford Falcon, provided the American working-class with a chance to own a modest sports car with a modest price tag, all without sacrificing overall enjoyment or amenities. Shortly after beginning production in mid-1964, the Mustang underwent extreme body modifications every couple of years, the first small tweak is seen here with this 1967. The 1967 and 1968 models were elongated by a few inches, with modifications to the car taking place in the front nose, as well as the sharpening of the body lines along the sides, while the rear taillight panel would now present itself with an indention, rather than a protrusion. Smaller, underpowered 8 cylinder motors were now offered with larger displacement than the first two production years, as well as more horsepower, and more amenities (such as back up lights). Upon decoding the VIN and datacode plate, we find that this particular C-Code 1967 (original 289cid v8 2bbl) was birthed in the San Jose plant before being shipped to Seattle for sale. An additional comfort that we find in this decoding of the Mustang is that this 1967 was Candy Apple Red from the factory, as well as adorned with black buckets, making her trim-code matching and very period-correct. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1967 Ford Mustang! This 1967 Mustang for sale is looking sharp all dressed up in her red paint with white racing stripes. Adding to the red of this car is red vinyl and carpet in the interior and under the hood is where your friend will start seeing red as nestled in the narrow valley between the shock towers is a Ford 390 Cubic inch FE Big block power plant! Now I could have used the term “engine” or maybe “Mill” perhaps, but Power plant works best with 390 FE Ford. Sitting on top of this torque monster is a Holley® 4 barrel Carburetor to keep the energy fed to the thirst FE and giving you the instant throttle response that we all love. Backing this combo is the hardy C6 3 speed automatic transmission to give you tire shredding launches and still keep the rpms low on the interstate. This S code 1967 Mustang for sale was well equipped with it left the factory 51 Years ago, some of the options that stand out are Air conditioning and power steering! This classic pony car was one of the first to usher in the small car, big engine idea that helped a lot of us fall in love with cars. This little ’67 Mustang for sale has one more added bonus, the owner states that it has an incredible low, 56,786 miles on it! If I had purchased this car in 1967, I would have added that number to the odometer before heading home with the car. If you have always wanted one of these original sleepers, now is your chance, do not pass it by as “S” Code 1967’s don’t pop up for sale everyday.Options for this 1967 Mustang for sale include: Air Condition ( currently not blowing cold ) AM/FM Cd player, Power steering, Vinyl interior and American Racing® 5 spoke rims. For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1967 Ford Mustang. With a quick look at this 1967 Mustang, with its light blue body, white hardtop, and white striping, anyone can see that this is a killer example of an American icon. 1967 saw the first redesign of Ford’s massively successful pony car. The body was enlarged, while keeping the same wheelbase, allowing for big block engine offerings, front and rear end styling was more pronounced and aggressive, and instrument panel offered a thicker crash pad, and larger gauges. The body styles were carried over from the previous year, offering hardtop, fastback, and convertible options. Along with the light blue and white two tone exterior, this Mustang features a matching light blue interior as well. A 289 CID V8 can be found under the hood powering this pony, and that power is fed through an automatic transmission. All of these factors put together add up to a car that not only looks amazing, but drives as good as it looks too. Engine: 398 CID V8 StrokerTransmission: Tremec 6 Speed ManualMileage: 5,518 ( since rebuilt )
For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a unicorn of sorts. This one though is quite a unique unicorn. In fact if you Google “Blue Eleanor” this car is what you will find. A 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback that started life as a 390 CID car, many many hands were involved in making this dream a reality. The body work was done by Desert Mustangs in Scottsdale AZ. She has made the circuits and was sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2006 and then underwent many thousands of dollars worth of work on the drivetrain to make this monster work in real life. So now the engine is a fully built bored and stroked 398 CID V8 that started as a 351 Cleveland. All of the supporting parts are top notch and support the 575 horsepower this engine creates. There are some cool tricks too. The custom exhaust is very muted until you flip the switch on the center console that opens the exhaust, the car then sings a very different tune. The neighbors will not be very happy with you running through the neighborhood banging through the T56 six speed transmission. All of this is backed by a Ford 9 inch rear differential with 3.89:1 gears and locking differential. No she isn’t a one trick pony either, ac makes driving in any area or time of year comfortable, power steering and power brakes make it all buttery smooth for driving. And please don’t think she is just a show pony either, she did 167 mph in a half mile runway race recently. For all of this shock and awe this is a well sorted car with just the right options that include AC, CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum Alloy Wheels. For sale is this beautiful 1970 Ford Mustang Convertible is in our Louisville showroom. This ’70 Convertible Stang has a few upgrades. The original engine has been replaced with 5.0 Liter engine from a 1995 Mustang GT. The engine is what is known as a roller block, because the lifters have small wheels that contact the cam. This reduces the amount of friction, which reduces wear to increase longevity. Less friction also leads to more horsepower. The 1995 GT also gave up it 4-speed automatic transmission, which leads to quicker take offs, while 4th gear allows for lower RPM while cruising the highway. The rear end is a Ford 9-inch piece which makes this drive train rock solid. The black vinyl interior looks to be in excellent shape with no rip or tears. The black top looks to be in great shape. At the flip of a button, the top will go up or down. The current owner has owned this drop top pony for 3 years.
