Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is pleased to offer a highly desirable 1969 Ford Torino Cobra. This Cobra has the famous R code, Ram-Air equipped, 428 Cobra Jet engine! The rebuilt R code engine is mated to a rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission. The Ram Air Cobra had a fully functional hood scoop. This air conditioned car has both power steering and power brakes making for a great driver. The Torino Cobra has the Cobra nameplate on the back, making for an interesting debate as to whether this was called the Ford Cobra or Ford Torino Cobra. The Cobra came standard with a competition suspension. It also came with a blacked out grille, hood lock pins, and Cobra emblems. This car has plenty of get-up-and-go, with plenty of torque. This is clearly evident when driving the car. The sound coming from the dual exhausts is like music. Inside this beautiful Cobra you will find a black vinyl interior with a center console. The attention to detail is impressive which can be seen on the stitching around the gauges and trim on the dash. Four headlights up front give this Cobra the recognizable Torino look. Engine: 390 V8Transmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 23,919 ( undocumented )
For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this fantastic 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback. This story begins on September 5, 1967 when the Fastback left the Ford plant in Metuchen, New Jersey. We are looking here at an original S-Code 390ci 4-barrel carburetor V8 big block 68 Mustang Fastback with a 4 speed manual transmission. It was also ordered with the GT Equipment Group. Now you get the idea of what this Fastback is all about and we are thrilled to have it here with us in our South Florida showroom. The Fastback shows very well and drives even better. The blue exterior is just beautiful and it comes with a clean and loaded interior. First thing you will see is the nice center console when you open the door. Just continue looking around and you will also find an overhead console and a nice brushed aluminum dash and much more. There are no cracks in the dash, seats or anywhere else. Powered by a 390ci V8 engine this pony moves forward. In combination with the 4 speed manual transmission it’s just a blast to drive the Fastback. The disc brakes on all 4 wheels will get you to a stop as fast as you will take off in this Mustang. No reason to be worried to get sweaty stains on the nice and clean wooden steering wheel, the A/C is blowing cold. Another very comfortable option is of course the power steering. Folks, this is the real deal here. Everybody wants one and don’t wait too long on this one. Grab the phone and give us a call. You will get more attention with this car than Enzo in his Ferrari. Let it ride!!! To see 100+ HD pictures and an HD video of this 1968 Ford Mustang, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Engine: 302 CID V8Transmission: C4 AutomaticMileage: 77,270 ( undocumented )
Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback. The Fastback Mustang is one of the most iconic cars of the muscle car era. Its slick styling and great color combinations make these cars highly sought after. This example has had a partial restoration with the Grabber Green paint being the star of the show. The car came from the factory that bright green with the black accents added during the build. The hood scoop is reminiscent of the Boss’s and really grab a ton of attention. Underneath that hood is a respectable 302 that sounds as good as the car looks. Mated up to a C4 transmission that was recently rebuilt using an upgraded shift kit and 2300 flash stall this Pony is ready to run. With the Pony’s ability to get up to speed taken care of the slowing down part was the next part to be addressed. With all new lines, disc on the front and drums on the rear stopping this fastback is as simple as hitting the pedal. Completing the mechanical side of things was the suspension which had the following components replaced, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, and shocks allowing for a rather plush ride. Open the door and a fresh interior jumps right out at you. The new seat covers look great while the new foam keeps everyone riding in comfort. The new headliner looks great while the dash cover ties it all together. The new carpet seals the deal and completes a very fresh interior. If you have been wanting one of the most iconic cars of the era painted in one of the most iconic colors this 70 Fastback is exactly that. Options on this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback include, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Rally Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Engine: 302Transmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 72,284 ( undocumented )
You are looking at a 1970 Ford Mustang that found its way to our Ft Lauderdale showroom and we are thrilled to have the car. This is a great 1970 Mustang convertible. The second owner bought the car 20 years ago and this pony was his pride. He spent around $90000 to restore and maintain his baby. It received a full restoration 15 years ago and still looks great. The original 302ci V8 engine was bored to 331ci and was rebuild by Bill Mitchel Racing with less than 12,000 miles added since. This powerful engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission, and with its new suspension by Steeda Autosports, this car drives fantastic. It is equipped with a 9-inch posi rear end and a gear ratio of 3:55. The exterior presents itself in the famous Ford grabber blue paint with the Boss 302 theme decals. A clean black interior is a perfect match. The car has the original body panels and she lines up beautiful. Original born with an F-Code 302ci V8, this isn’t a real Boss but you will be the boss when you drive this muscle car down the road. Be ready to smile because people will take out their phones to take pictures of you in the car. A great sound system is installed but is there better music to listen to than a V8 muscle car symphony? This isn’t just a muscle car, this is also a comfortable classic with many options to drive. All in one the Ford is ready for a new owner who will take good care of her. Let it ride!!! Tributes and clones are a great way to get into a dream car for a smaller price, and this 1968 Shelby GT350 fastback tribute certainly does it right. No expense was spared with this frame off restoration with every nut and bolt either being replaced or refurbished. Kleve Restorations out of Lakewood Colorado sprayed the very clean Ford performance white with Guardsman blue stripes to keep with the Shelby heritage. Every chrome piece is new, plus all of the stainless trim has been professionally restored. It has a long list of authentic parts, a strong running 347 cubic inch V8. Also the right look to make everyone at the local show do double-take when it rolls in. The engine is not original, it was built by Tristar Engines. Helping it pump out 418 horsepower is a set of Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, Howard’s roller camshaft, and ceramic coated headers are just some of the top shelf performance part included in the build. When paired with the Tremec 5-Speed T5 Z spec transmission you can cruise down the highway at 1,600 rpm while traveling 65 mph. Anyone lucky enough to sit behind the steering wheel will appreciate the great level of detail that went into this car! Once glance at the dash and you’ll notice reproduction Mustang gauges featuring an 8,000 rpm tachometer as weel as a 160 mph speedometer. Making sure you are in total control of everything electrical is the new painless wiring harness complete with modern fuses. 17” Eleanor styled wheels help round out the entire package nicely. You can view this 1968 Shelby GT350 fastback tribute in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 351 W V8 WindsorTransmission: 3-Speed AutomaticMileage: 280 ( since rebuilt )
For sale in our Nashville showroom is a beautiful 1968 Mustang Shelby GT350 Tribute. Now this is not your average tribute in fact this one might make Carroll a little envious! This little pony has all the tricks from the drop dead deep blue paint job to the kidney kicking 351 Windsor power plant that pumps out a dynode 450 horses! But let’s start at the beginning. This 1968 GT 350 for sale started life as a fastback and a vision. This pretty pony spent quite some time strapped to the rotisserie as she was stripped and massaged as no new body panel were used. She is this wearing all the original metal she was began with of course some of this original metal was covered by Shelby fiberglass panels and then all of it was layered with this deep blue paint. Even the under coating was well thought out as catalyzed bed liner was used for protection, looks and added insulation. For the interior Mustangs to fear were called on to provide their High quality components. Now to the good stuff! Under the hood is a high revving Windsor 351 that is .030 over and filled with all the good stuff like forged piston, roller rockers and hefty bump stick. Bolted to the top of this combo are Edlebrock aluminum heads and RPM air gap intake manifold and perched on top of all these goodies is just what you would figure a Holley four barrel carb. Lighting the fires is a MSD ignition system and helping with exhaust gases are ceramic coated headers. Between all this power and the 9 inch Ford holding up the rear of this 68 Mustang for sale is a totally rebuilt C4 3 speed automatic transmission that provides firm shift and controls the under hood beast with precision. So. What you have here is all the fun and style allowed by law and a little extra! Options for this 1968 GT 350 Tribute include: Air conditioning, AM/FM compact disc player, power steering and brakes, Power windows, Leather interior, Seat belts, Radial tires wrapped around rally rims. A $212.15 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this awesome T-Bucket! This one is obviously based on a much older vehicle but is titled as a 1969. This one is powered by a powerful 350 CID V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission for a smooth and punchy driving experience. Safety is enhanced with the addition of seat belts which helps make this car a little less scary to drive. This one is in great shape and ready to hit the road or the strip! The T-Bucket is a hot rod based on a Ford Model T which was made from the 1915 to 1927 era. However, they are typically excessive modified from their factory form. These were favorites among greasers. A youth subculture popularized in the late 1940s and the 50s. The word "greaser" originated in the 19th century in the United States as a derogatory label for poor laborers. The term was later used to refer to mechanics. It wasn't used in writing to refer to the American subculture of the mid-20th century until the mid-1960s, though in this sense it still evoked a pejorative connotation and a relation to machine work. The name was applied to members of the subculture because of their characteristic greased-back hair. T-Bucket was specifically created and named by Norm Grabowski in the 50s. Hid car was named the Lightning Bug, better known as the Kookie Kar, after being redesigned by Grabowski and appearing in the TV show 77 Sunset Strip, driven by character Gerald “Kookie” Kookson. The exposure it gained led to numerous copies being built. Since the last Model Ts were built in 1927, most modern T-buckets use replica fiberglass bodies. By the 1950s, original steel Model T bodies that had not been completely worn out were becoming increasingly hard to find and in 1957 the first fiberglass T-Bucket body (based on the 1923 version) was introduced by the short-lived Diablo Speed Shop in Northern California. Of the only two or three bodies built by Diablo, one was purchased by Southern California hot rod builder Buzz Pitzen and became the world's first fiberglass T-bucket. This T-Bucket is in our Houston showroom. Come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. You can contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com

This good-looking Ford Mustang Mach I is for sale in our Atlanta Showroom. Of the early generation Mustangs, these horses are at the pinnacle of the muscle car era. With bolder lines, more engine options and simply just better styling, the ’69 Mustang Mach I’s are beginning to command the attention they so richly deserve. Black Jade is a color that sets this Mustang apart as well. The rarity of this color will only help the resale value of this muscle-bound pony in the future. Under the hood, is the 351 Cleveland V8.
