1967 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 327/350 Horsepower V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 3,922 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a beautifully restored 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. This Sunfire Yellow roadster is powered by the numbers matching 327 350 HP engine and matched with a smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission and back to a 3.55 rear gear with Posi Traction. The sound emitting from the side exhaust is intoxicating. The hardest part about driving this car is when you stop driving! It drives so well, sounds so good and looks amazing! The frame off restoration was completed in 2006 but has covered a very modest 3,922 miles since completion. Thanks to a very proud owner, the car has been very well cared for over the years and still looks very fresh. Complimenting the Sunfire Yellow paint is a Black soft top, Black vinyl interior and a set of American Racing Wheels wrapped in radial rubber. Power four wheel disc brakes offer confident braking and Power steering makes maneuvering an ease. The 350 horse 327 may be the best all round engine for '67. Great power with no solid lifters to adjust, no hot temperatures from a Big Block and a little less thirsty for fuel. The 3.55 gear ratio may also be the best all round gear ratio. You have good acceleration from a standstill and decent highway cruising. The Sunfire Yellow may not be the most common color, but sure is a breath of fresh air from all the red ones out there. And this is the original color for this Corvette. We can't tell you enough about how well this one drives. My co-workers literally had to drag me out of it! I would've been tickled pink to drive this beautiful Corvette all day long. For more information on this 1967 Corvette, call 618-271-3000 or swing by our St. Louis showroom for an up close viewing. Engine: 454 CID V8
Transmission: Turbo 400 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 13 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville Tennessee showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette. But not just any 1969 Corvette, this one has had the entire book thrown at it. What book you ask? The book of body modifications. Let’s start at the front end. Under the L-88 hood is a massive 454 Big block with just the right performance upgrades like, Edelbrock ® performer intake topped with a Holley® four barrel carburetor. H.E.I distributor handles the power duties. Now for the body mods! It is hard to see any body modifications other than the Mako shark front end, but if you know where to look and just what a normal 1969 Corvette from the factory should look like, you will begin to see the work and skill it took to make this car. The Mako shark front end flows smoothly into the front wheel flares that follow the original body lines so closely that without another Corvette close by, it is all but impossible to see. The flares around and over the rear tires has been done just as skillfully and the body lines there lead you to the back of this car where you will see right away 1969 Pontiac Trans Am tail lights that have been frenched into the back of this car and into the extended rear end that must have hundreds of hours of molding and sanding. Custom grill, side pipes and custom paint the list goes on and on. Needless to say this is a rolling, driving work of art that is a lot of fun when you slam your right foot down! Option for this 1969 Mako Shark for sale: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio W/ compact disc player, T-tops, Power steering, Power brakes, Seat belts, Vinyl interior, and radial tires.A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Engine: 427 435HP L71
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 45,896 ( undocumented )

1969… That was the year for the L-71 Corvette and we have a stunning blue on blue Corvette here for sale. It features an L-71 427ci 435hp tri power car. It is in amazing condition and features a 4 speed manual transmission. Take a closer look at this beauty! In 1969, Tire size remained the same, although this was the first year for optional white lettered tires and the last for red striped tires. Carried over from the previous year were seven available rear axle ratios ranging from 2.73 to 4.56. Standard ratio remained 3.08 with automatic and 3.36 with manual transmission. The optional Positraction rear axle, mandated on many engine/gearbox combinations, was installed on more than 95% of the cars. "Stingray" script nameplates appeared on front fenders, now one word, in contrast to the “Sting Ray” name used previously. Exterior door handles were redesigned so the finger plate would actuate the door, eliminating the separate release button. Backup lights were integrated into the inboard taillights, headlight washers were added, and front grilles were made all black. Side mounted exhausts and front fender vent trim were options for this year only. On the inside, revised door panels provided additional shoulder room in the C3's tighter cabin and headrests became standard. Steering wheel diameter was reduced from 16 to 15 inches to permit easier entry and exit, the ignition switch was moved from the dash to the steering column, and map pockets were added to the dash area in front of the passenger seat. Accounting for 57% of the cars, coupes with their removable roof panels, began a trend of outselling roadsters. An extended production cycle due to a labor dispute increased '69 volume. This was the last year for the L88 engine and the only year for the ZL1 option, which offered an all-aluminum 427 cu in (7.0 L) big-block engine listed at 430 hp (321 kW). Rare options: ZL1 aluminum block (2), J56 heavy-duty brakes (115), L88 engine (116), L89 aluminum heads (390). This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1969 Corvette in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission:
Mileage: 10,000 ( since rebuilt )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Malibu SS convertible. The color combination is absolutely gorgeous with the Sienna Blue exterior and matching blue interior. 1964 was the first year for the first generation of a car that went on to become one of the most loved American classics of all time. The Malibu was basically the top of the line Chevelle and came in a number of body styles. You could get a four-door sedan, two-door sport coupe hardtop, convertible or a two-seat station wagon. This being the convertible, it is the most desirable of all. The interiors were more lavish than the basic cars. In 1964 the top performance option was a 300hp 327 CID V8 engine. This one has a 350 CID V8 with even more power. It is bolted to the 4-speed manual transmission to give you the best driver focused experience. You really feel connected to the car in this one. The Malibu used to be considered an awesome rear drive American muscle car. But if you go to the Chevrolet dealership in 2018 you will see the nameplate on a front drive economy car. Sometimes we questions the moves that GM make. But, don’t go and buy the new and boring one, buy this one! Features include seat belts, 4-speed, Posi-Traction and rally wheels.
