The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1965 Pontiac GTO for sale. The GTO was restyled for the 1965 model year. It sported Pontiac's characteristic vertically stacked quad headlights. Overall weight increased while the brake lining area increased nearly 15%. The dashboard design was improved, and an optional rally gauge cluster added a more legible tachometer and oil pressure gauge. The 389 engine had revised cylinder heads with re-cored intake passages, improving breathing. Rated power increased to the Tri-Power was rated 360hp. Transmission and axle ratio choices remained the same. The restyled GTO had a new simulated hood scoop. A rare, dealer-installed option was a metal under hood pan and gaskets that allowed the scoop to be opened, transforming a cosmetic device into a functional cold air intake. With two testers and equipment aboard, they recorded 0-60 miles per hour in 5.8 seconds, the standing quarter mile in 14.5 seconds with a trap speed of 100 miles per hour, and an observed top speed of 114. This GTO has the 389ci V-8 with the 4-speed manual. This goat sports a new top, new tires, original rebuilt front end parts, new water pump, harmonic balancer, and original service book. This is an owner stated original GTO. Triple black GTO convertible…they don’t get much better. Options include: AM/FM radio, convertible top, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, rally wheels. 1964 Pontiac GTO

Engine: 389 V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 67,068 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a classic red 1964 Pontiac GTO. In 1964 the Pontiac GTO was introduced as trim level of the Tempest, and the Muscle car era took off. Eventually in 1966, the GTO earned its own model designation, and again a trim option from 1972 to 1974. The GTO made a late model comeback in 2004, but most agree that Pontiac dropped the ball on the design of the car, and it was gone again after the 2006 model year. Many muscle cars would come and go, but the GTO would always be considered one of the best and most desired. The 64’ GTO was smaller than later models, sporty, and very quick. The exterior of this 1964 GTO is coated in a bright red that stands out, loud and proud. Looking inside the classic muscle car you will find black vinyl interior with a the heavily desired center console. Under the hood is a 389 CID V8 engine that is mated to a 3-spd automatic transmission with a B&M shifter. One unique feature of this '64 GTO is the fact that it has a direct drive timing gear which gives the impression that maybe this Pontiac isn't naturally aspirated! The odometer reads 67,068, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1964 Pontiac GTO include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. A red on black 1964 GTO is a welcomed addition to any show or cruise, the one that started it all always has a seat at the table. To view this 1964 Pontiac GTO in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our St. Louis showroom. Engine: Tri-Power 400CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 46,510 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer one very cool 1965 Pontiac GTO. You won’t be able to help yourself from humming “Little GTO” when you fire up this bright red beauty. As Ronnie and the Daytonas sung in their 60’s classic, “Turn it on, wind it up, blow it out, GTO”. This ’65 has the iconic 3 deuces and a 4 speed that any Pontiac fan can appreciate. It sports a Pontiac 400 from a ’68, but still has the look and feel you’d expect from a ’65. The snappy red exterior is set off with a set of polished Cragar SSs wrapped in white wall tires. This one sports a unique white vinyl top which matches the white vinyl interior. Front buckets and a floor shifter leave no questioning what type of car this is: a true muscle car. This is however, the gentleman’s muscle car, so a wood rimming steering wheel and wood grain dash dress up the cabin. Power steering and power brakes are a must in a full sized car with the power that this one has. When you hit wide open throttle, you can hear all 3 carbs gulping fresh air to feed the beast. Needless to say, they just don’t make them like they used to. This little slice of muscle car history is available in our Dallas showroom. Swing by for a closer look, or check out www.GatewayClassicCars.com for 100+ photos and a video. Contact 817-310-9400 or dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

1965 Pontiac GTO

Engine: 389 CID
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 54,084 ( undocumented )

Very few cars have survived this long and remained in this great of condition without being totally restored! This beautiful 1965 GTO Convertible in cameo ivory paint truly is untouched and still retains the original equipment that it rolled off the showroom floor with when it was brand new. The numbers matching 389 cubic inch V8 has been rebuilt with less than 2,500 miles on it since rebuild and fires up with ease thank to the meticulous maintenance through the years. If the condition of this car isn’t enough to attest to the great care taken then the binder full of receipts will take you on a trip through history also. Sitting behind the wheel of this muscle car is definitely a privilege. Gripping the shifter for the 4 speed Muncie transmission that was a rear option for these cars really transports you back in time and makes you feel like you are speeding even while sitting still. Exhaust gases are expelled through a set of dual stainless steel Flowmasters. Giving the car it’s stance are the chrome Crager wheels wrapped in radial tires. But if those are not your style the original wheels and hub caps are included. Chrome dash accents along with hardware compliment the black interior. Keeping you cool while you enjoy the ride is the dealer installed air conditioning. If you are more into cruising with the top down then you will truly appreciate the recently replaced black power convertible top! Full PHS documentation package is included with the sale of this GTO as well as a protecto plate and original manuals. Engine: 389 CID
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 125,393 ( actual )

This very original GTO was purchased brand new back 1964 from a dealership in Atlanta, Georgia and has been kept in the same family ever since! This numbers matching first generation GTO is a true survivor and is being offered up to a new home. Sitting under the hood is the 389 cubic inch V8 that is paired up to the original 2-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission are very strong even after all these years and have plenty of road trips our weekend outings left in them. The body on the car is straight and clean with only one repaint in the early 90’s where it was painted using the same color it came from the factory with. As you slide into the original interior and get comfortable in the bucket seats, it is as if you stepped back into 1964. The white vinyl interior contrasts nicely against the blue paint and the aluminum spun inserts top it all off. A couple pumps on the gas pedal and the turn of a key brings the 389 to life! Drop it down into drive and you are off and cruising. The suspension soaks up the bumps in the road yet is still tight and very controlled. The power steering and power brakes makes controlling this big car a breeze. This is 1964 GTO is what started the muscle car era and is now an icon in the American automotive scene. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1964 Pontiac GTO in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1965 Pontiac GTO for sale in our Orlando showroom. This Tri-Power 389 cid V-8 is mated to 4 speed manual transmission. This combination is the one you want and really puts the power to the pavement. This GTO looks like new in beautiful Red with Black vinyl interior. GTO’s are what legends are made of and when the Pontiac GTO was introduced to America in September 1963, it created an entirely new market segment that sparked a reaction throughout the auto industry. Today we know that reaction as the muscle-car era. By 1966, all the domestic automobile manufacturers had their response to the GTO. Some were good, some were hastily slapped together, and others missed the mark altogether. It could be argued that none of them possessed the combination of performance, style, image, and affordability of the GTO. Options include: AM/FM, cassette radio, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, and aluminum wheels. This is the one you want to own. This 1965 Pontiac GTO is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1964 Pontiac GTO 824

1964 Pontiac GTO 824

Engine: 454 CID V8
Transmission: Turbo 400
Mileage: 15,000 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1964 Pontiac GTO. When I was young we used to say that the GTO stood for gas, tires and oil for the three things this car would burn though in a hurry if you had a heavy foot. This GTO for sale is covered in medium blue and looks like it was laid down yesterday. With straight body lines that are crisp and clean and a fresh coat of paint this car has an almost new look. Open the door and slide into the vinyl bucket seat and you are instantly transported back into the seventies. With the large steering wheel and horseshoe shifter in the center console this car screams classic muscle. But if you want to really hear a scream, open the hood and cover your ears. The scream you hear will be your on! Some will scream with joy that the engine compartment contains a Chevy big block that measures 454 cubic inches, other will scream that it isn’t a Pontiac 389. Either way you have to agree that the muscle under the hood is sufficient to move this Pontiac GTO at a rapid pace and enough torque to bend the hinges on the driver’s seat. A holley ® four barrel carburetor feeds the fuel and a set of headers help to wish away the exhaust. Backing this rambunctious Rat is the bullet proof (please don’t attempt to disprove this theory) turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission that handles the gears and shifts (pun intended) the power to the rear axle that houses a set of 3.73 gears. This classic muscle car for sale is sure to make you smile from the moment you see it until you slowly shut the garage door and turn off the light after your last drive. Options for this 1964 GTO for sale include AM/FM radio, Power steering, Power brakes, Hub caps, Seat belts, Hub caps, Radial Tires and Alloy wheels. A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. 1987 Pontiac Firebird

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 6,112 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this special 1987 Pontiac Firebird TransAm. This black-over-silver TA has been customized with a bunch of custom upgrades. Starting with its 350 CID V8 GMPP crate engine that has been upgraded to 1990 L98 Corvette specifications, including reconditioned L98 aluminum heads (done by Dale Parker), complete with new heavy duty valve springs, new valves, and roller rockers. This mighty mouse is also enhanced with an L98 Corvette-spec roller cam, Edelbrock upgraded TPI system, ported upper and lower intakes, larger diameter throttle body, and new injectors. An SLP cold air intake system helps improve the volume of air fed to the motor, along with reducing its temperature, further enhancing the power output potential. A custom exhaust system sucks the spent gases out, and provides a nice rumble out back, as well. Helping get the power to the ground are a new 700R4 4-speed automatic trans, new aluminum driveshaft, and a set of 3.42:1 gears with PosiTrac differential. Not only has the drivetrain been substantially enhanced, but so has the rest of the car. It also has a Wilwood brake-bias proportioning valve, new front and rear springs, new gas shocks, new GPA "cross-lace" wheels, and 245/50-ZR16 BFG g-Force TA tires at all 4 corners. Inside, it has GTA-style door panels, leather seating surfaces, 10-way power adjustable front seats from a 2002 Trans Am, new console, new carpet, new headliner, new sunvisors, a new console, new inner rear quarter panel covers, new kick panels, and a locking cargo area cover and side storage. In addition, it has a complete electronic dash (a rare option for '87-'88 Firebirds) with digital fluorescent gages and warning system for open doors and lamps, plus electronic solenoid-operated controls for HVAC functions, and a 2002 steering column (to accommodate the steering wheel-mounted radio controls). The radio is a 2005 model year GM radio system with RDS, MP3, CD, AM-FM, and XM capabilities, and the speakers have been upgraded to Pioneer 4-way units. The rear view mirror is also a step up from what it came with, and has compass, temp, Homelink, map lights, and electro-photochromic capability (auto-dimming LCD mirror). Even the paint has been refreshed on this beauty - the black over silver color scheme was redone by Kelly's Paint and Body Shop, and all tape appliques and emblems are correct for the year model, including the large hood "Bird" decal, which was available on 1986 1/2 and 1987 Trans Ams. 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400

1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400

Engine: 400
Transmission: Turbo Hydromatic 400
Mileage: 82,436 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this excellent 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 Ram Air. This Formula 400 Firebird checks off all the necessary boxes to make this a worthy car for the first time “Muscle Car” purchaser looking to have fun, or the long-time collector looking to add to an existing collection. The first box to be checked off is “appearance”. How appealing does it look? At first glance, the Navajo Orange is an eye catcher and combines well with the beige bucket interior. The front end looks aggressive and sucks you in with dual snorkel functioning “Ram Air” hood. The sleek, bold styling of the car exudes a classy confident attitude. The second box is “performance”. This Firebird performs just as good as it looks. It boasts a 400 cubic inch numbers matching motor, along with a 4-barrel carburetor and “Ram Air” option. All you need to do is step on the gas to awaken the sleeping giant. Power is transferred from the engine through a Turbo Hydromatic 400 automatic transmission to a 10 bolt posi-traction rear end which now houses 3.42 gears. The third box is “value”. To some this may be the most important box. How do you determine value or forecast value in a car? There are several factors that affect this category: two of which are already checked off. Let’s think in the terms of supply and demand. In 1973, Pontiac only produced 4,622 Formula 400 cars. Many fell victim to the crusher or salvage yard. Some were torn apart and key authentic components were replaced with non-original parts. Others are parked in non-operating condition and rusted out in a field, barn, or garage. Very few of the 4,622 that were produced made it to 2018 with original equipment that were also kept in prestigious condition. Of the 4,622 Formula 400 vehicles, only 533 had the functioning “Ram Air” hood. Yes, this is one of the 533 born with that very special option. Another factor of determining value is, “can you prove the car is what it is?” Yes, with documentation, VIN, data plate, and number stampings, which this 73 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 Ram Air has. Lastly, with Camaro’s fetching top tier prices, the focus has turned to what the next “Muscle Car” to ignite is. Buying trends are already showing favorable promise to the second-generation Firebirds. When you take all of this into consideration, this car is a trustworthy investment. Most of all, you can hop in and enjoy cruising it while your investment appreciates. You can place a big check mark in this box! Options include (cold) Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, Rally Wheels, and Posi Traction. This 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 Ram Air is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
