The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1990 Cadillac Allante for sale. This clean car fax Allante is a nice looking caddy. Cadillac had launched the front-drive Allante for the 1987 model year, to plenty of fanfare, as the company’s most expensive model. Body and interior design for Cadillac’s first 2-seat model was created by Pininfarina, in Italy, but the V8/automatic drivetrain was strictly American. Bodies were produced at a facility near Turin, Italy, then loaded onto special jet planes and flown to Detroit. Once there, driveline and underbody components were installed. Allante was a full convertible, with integral folding soft top and detachable aluminum hardtop. Aluminum was used for the hood and trunk lid while the unit body/frame structure employed galvanized steel. The Allante’s wheelbase measured 8.4 inches shorter than an Eldorado’s, but the 2-seater shared its basic fully independent suspension. An all-disc power brake system with Bosch antilocking was standard. By 1990, a 200-horsepower, 4.5-liter V8 was the motive source, also with automatic only. Traction control was new for 1990, using sensors for the antilock brakes to detect wheel slip during acceleration or steady cruising. When either front wheel began to slip, the system applied braking force to that wheel. If both front wheels were slipping, enough braking action was applied on both sides to optimize traction. A driver’s airbag went into the 1990 models, and electronically controlled shock absorbers were retuned to improve ride quality. The standard sound system now included both a cassette and a CD player. Primary rival was the Mercedes-Benz 560SL, also a 2-seater. Options include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio, CD player, power brakes, power steering, convertible top, cruise control, lumbar support, power windows, power mirrors, traction control, anti-lock brakes, power seats, anti-theft system, white walls, tilt wheel, leather interior, radial tires, aluminum alloy wheels. 1987 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

1987 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

Engine: 4.1L V8 F OHV
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic with Electric Overdrive
Mileage: 114,849 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sleek 1987 Cadillac Coupe Deville. The 6th generation Cadillac Deville has been meticulously taken care of its whole life!! This time machine is one of a kind and is fully loaded for its time. This car still has the original V8 engine with just under 115k miles. 1987 saw a new front-end design including revised cornering lamps in front and one-piece composite headlamps flanked a trapezoid-shaped grille with a bold egg-crate texture. Elongated fender caps were in back - upping the overall length by an inch and a half, but much more dramatic in appearance with new wrap-around tail lamps. This new 3-sided tail lamp style was inspired by a design used on the 1977 Deville. Unlike the new one-piece headlamps, the changes to the rear-end in 1987 had little to do with engineering, but rather, feedback from Cadillac's customer base who felt the 1985-86 car looked too short. Although the 1987 revamp was still quite like the 1986 model (so much in fact that it still used the previous year's deck lid), the design was more in-tune with the look that traditional Cadillac buyers were used to. Although this car had the original engine and interior, the paint was redone to this classic gold looking color. The body is overall in great shape and looks stunning with the newer paint. The Cadillac’s original V8 engine starts right up and idles smooth. The car has just under 115k miles on it with many service records on the Auto Check history report. The 1987 came standard with the 4-speed automatic transmission that is still original in this car and shifting seamlessly. The interior of this car is leather with power seats, windows, and mirrors. Overall great shape inside and out. This car is perfect for any drive way and has plenty of life left in it. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this beautiful 1993 Cadillac Allante for sale. It is actually a stunning shade of a dark teal green. This NorthStar V8 really give you the power and smoothness that is a luxury car. It has an automatic transmission that runs through the gears so smooth you would think it was a CVT transmission. It can be argued that 1993 was the pinnacle year for the Allante - with new road sensitive front suspension, a revised rear suspension, speed sensitive steering, Bosch traction control, a new front spoiler, headlamp washers, new breakaway rear-view mirrors, and ergonomically-designed front bucket seats all made this model the one designed with the car's occupants' comfort and convenience at the forefront of the design. Only 4,670 Allantes were sold new for the model year. This car is a prime example of the breed. Bought from a gentleman from Scottsdale, this beauty has always been in the desert climate.
