Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer one of the most iconic cars in the history of automobiles - a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS convertible for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. Painted a beautiful shade of Hugger Orange with a white manual convertible top, it'll give you many smiles per gallon. Pair that up with a black and white Houndstooth interior, and this is a color combination that's hard to beat. This car runs, drives, handles, steers, and stops like you'd want and expect it to, the only thing is the current owner does not have the paperwork to document this is originally a big block 4-spd model. He bought the car as seen here, and was never able to confirm that this was the powertrain it had from GM. If it was documented, you better believe the price would be a lot higher and the new owner probably wouldn't drive it for fear of damaging an investment-grade automobile. With this Camaro, you can go out and have fun with it, enjoying the torquey engine, shifting through the gears, and feeling the sun and wind in your face. It also cannot be documented that this is a real RS/SS model, but again, it is now and can be enjoyed as such. It's still "is what it is". It's an attractively priced first gen Camaro equipped just right at a fraction of the price of a documented car. Don't miss this iconic 1969 Chevy Camaro convertible for sale right now in our facility. Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale in our Houston showroom. Of special note, this is THE 1969 Camaro that Dale Earnhardt Jr. drove in the Goody's Headache Powders commercial, and comes with authentication (including Dale Jr.'s signature). One of the most iconic of the Pony Cars, the 1969 Camaro has developed a cult-like following. The Camaro was introduced in 1967 as Chevrolet's answer to combat the success of Ford's Mustang, which created a whole new vehicle segment, later dubbed "Pony Cars". For 1969, the Camaro received all-new sheet metal (except for the hood and trunk), which served to give the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with the heavy “V” cant, and the headlights were given a new recessed position. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider and more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened with sculpted feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the car and rear-slanting simulated air slots were positioned ahead of the rear wheel. The front had a full width chrome bumper integrated with the body color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels with triple segment lenses. This styling is considered by many Camaro enthusiasts as the ultimate muscle car look and arguably the most desirable. This car is presented in its original LeMans Blue paint (as depicted on the cowl tag), along with performance white stripe accents. Under the hood lurks a high-compression full roller 350 CID V8, built by Conroes Choice Automotive. It sports a pair of Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads and FAST EFI TBI Fuel Injection sits atop the Edelbrock hi-rise aluminum manifold. An MSD Digital 6AL ignition system helps boost the spark, while coated headers suction the exhaust gases into a 2.5" dual exhaust system, and the performance mufflers give it that throaty muscle car sound that enthusiasts crave. The hi-po 350 sends the power to the rear via a built 700R4 4-speed automatic, which twists the 3.90:1 gears in its 10-bolt Posi rear end. In the event you find yourself spending too much time in the throttle, savoring the high RPM howl this 350 makes, the two-piece slotted and drilled Wilwood rotors and their accompanying multipiston calipers up front will help you get back to legal digits quickly. Inside this cool coupe is an Ivory bucket seat interior (also noted on the cowl tag), which seems practically new, as does the black carpet. An Equus tri-gauge cluster above the console helps keep the driver informed about critical operating systems, as well. The console features a period correct "staple" shifter, with an updated gear indicator bezel, alluding to the 4-speed transmission (with "D-3-2-1" positions, rather than the "D-2-1" of a 3-speed auto). Additional features on this 1969 Camaro for sale include Vintage-style AM/FM Radio with Aux port, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Vinyl Interior. Currently in the Denver Colorado showroom we have the unique pleasure of offering you this numbers matching 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28! When you combine the fact that this car has only 45,005 documented miles on the odometer plus the complete nut and bolt restoration that was completed in 2007 it is sure to earn the respect and admiration of anyone car collector or not. This stunning Camaro was built in the Norwood, Ohio plant during the first week of June and comes wearing the classic Cortez Silver paint. The Camaro was introduced in 1967 to attack the Ford Mustang success. The first-generation lasted until this 1969 model year when it again paced the Indianapolis 500. For 1969, the Camaro had all-new sheet metal except the hood and trunk lid giving the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with the heavy “V” cant and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider and more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened with sculpted feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the car and rear-slanting simulated air slots ahead of the rear wheel. The front had a full width chrome bumper integrated with the body color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels with triple segment lenses. The Z28 performance package was and still is perhaps the most special and iconic of all available on Camaros! It included a solid-lifter 302 V8, 4-Speed Muncie M-21 Manual transmission, power disc brakes, and two wide bold stripes down the hood and decklid. This styling is considered by many Camaro enthusiasts as the ultimate muscle car look and arguably the most desirable. When you lift the functional air breathing hood with reverse cowl scoop it reveals the 302 cubic inch V8 that punches out an “advertised” 290 horses to grip the asphalt. The original numbers matched engine sits in an impressive engine bay that is clean, and well preserved with original factory stickers that truly reflect the factory representation. Power is delivered by the code M21 4-Speed wide ratio transmission with Hurst shifter to the posi-traction rear axle housing a 3.73 ratio. Performance is delivered to the raised white lettered Goodyears mounted on Rallye wheels which adds to the stylish competition look. Inside this cool coupe is black bucket seat interior as noted on the cowl tag, you’ll find one of the most stylish cockpits of the muscle car era that has been painstakingly restored. Full documentation package including Jerry MacNeis certification to be included with the sale of the car including an appraisal and certificate of authenticity. Engine: 434 CID V8Transmission: 3 Speed AutomaticMileage: 703 ( since rebuilt )
The 1969 Camaro marked the last of the first generations and is arguably the most popular. It featured entirely new, more aggressive looking sheet metal and revised grille. Going away was the coke bottle shape, making room for a flatter, wider looking stance. The Camaro was available in many different configurations, from a standard Sport Coupe, a rubber melting Super Sport, or a track-ready Z/28. The SS was "The One with a Name Like the Hiss of a Snake." Big power, special 3-speed transmission, sport striping, heavy insulated hood. Hiding under the stock SS hood on this Hugger Orange beauty is a beast of a V8! Where a salty 350 once sat now resides a NEW 434 cubic inch Nye’s racing engine that starts out with a Dart little M block with all forged internals, solid roller comp cam #12-990-9. Topping off the power house is a set of AFR eliminator 220 cylinder heads that help bump the compression ratio to 13.1:1. Providing the spark needed is a DUI distributor that has been built specifically for this engine setup. Only 700 miles have been put on this engine so it has tons of life left and is just starting to come to life! No expense was spared on any aspect of the restoration of this car! Transferring the power to the rear of the car is the same 3-speed automatic that came in the car from the factory but the only part that hasn’t been upgraded is the exterior case of the transmission. The body and paint are excellent with an impressive panel fit. Making it truly a car that needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. The black interior was definitely not overlooked during the restoration. When you are lucky enough sit behind the steering wheel you will notice the factory console gauges have been replaced with upgraded aftermarket gauges. The main reason for the upgrade is to have better accuracy while monitoring the vitals of the car. Helping get the power to the ground is the 12 bolt rear-end that houses a set of 4.10 gears. At all four corners there are Ralley wheels with new trim rings wrapped in BFGoodrich radial tires. And last but not least this car comes with ALL of the original parts that have been upgraded or replaced during the restoration. This includes but is not limited to the numbers matching 350 V8, Air Conditioning setup, power steering as well as the 3.31 gears that were replaced wit the 4.10s. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertible for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This stunning 1995 Camaro Z28 dazzles in Dupont Chrome Illusion paint in Blue Jade while rolling on 19” Ruff Racing rims by Chip Foose wrapped in BF Goodrich G Force tires. Powered by a stock LT-1 with a K&N fuel injection performance kit installed and breathing through a cat back Flowmaster exhaust system, this car runs beautifully and has a deep powerful rumble. This car is all about details – the four wheel disc brakes are powder coated so they won’t rust, and the pads are Kevlar so they don’t produce dust. The rear spoiler is subtly different than the standard American configuration, being sourced from Canada for a slightly more aggressive look. Eibach lowering springs in the back set the body just right over the tires. This Camaro has been meticulously maintained using only parts from a Chevrolet dealership, right down to new door and window rubber installed during the repainting process. The Alpine head unit on the audio system feeds a 4 channel Audison amplifier powering Hertz speakers including dual 10” subwoofers. A Viper alarm system detects anyone in proximity and pages the key fob, important for a convertible parked with the top down. With two owners and a clean AutoCheck report, the odometer indicates 76,802 actual miles. The current owner has had the car for 15 years. Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this immaculate 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This dazzling car had a frame on restoration that was completed in May of 2018 and has been driven approximately 900 miles since. Presented in a mirror-smooth dark red with a black vinyl interior, this car was done with an eye toward tasteful understatement, and the result is a truly special vehicle that has had almost everything replaced or restored. Powered by a 350 V8 with a deep rumbling custom exhaust and driving through a Turbo 350 transmission, the car is smooth as silk on the road and stops securely with a power front disc/rear drum brake setup. All exterior chrome and emblems are new. All stainless is original and has been completely restored. The front suspension sits on full QA1 coilovers, tubular control arms, and drop spindles. The rear is lowered with 3” drop blocks. Some exterior modifications include a smoothie front bumper and 56 Buick taillight lenses. The windshield and sideglass is new, the rear glass is original. The interior is all brand new, with new gauges and all new chrome and accent pieces. Before the car was painted it was treated top and bottom with POR15 rust preventative.
