Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is pleased to offer a true survivor and icon of the 1960’s, a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda. This Barracuda for sale is the premium package “Formula S” which would be the hit of any car show. On the way to the show you can arrive in cool comfort as the “Formula S” package made Factory air conditioning and disc brakes available, which this Cuda for sale has both. The factory disc brakes have been upgraded to Wilwood discs for extra stopping power. That extra stopping power was a welcome addition to the 273 CID 235 horse power engine which also sports a factory four-barrel carburetor and 10.5:1 compression ratio. With over $10,000 spent in labor, parts and upgrades (with receipts) this Barracuda is ready to show and go. The factory specified thirteen-inch wheels have been upgraded to fourteen inch enhancing the stance and maneuverability that made these cars such desirable road rally cars. Floor shift console for the automatic transmission nestled between period correct cloth bucket seats were very desirable features in the emerging pony car market. Painted period correct beige with the “Formula S” stripe and correct black cloth interior makes this a very desirable addition to any Mopar collection or, with the value price, an excellent first-time entry level collector car. This Mopar features factory air conditioning, Wilwood disc brakes, dealer installed AM Radio, JVC Bluetooth, aluminum alloy Mopar rally wheels, full sized fourteen-inch spare, and an electrical kill switch. 1962 Plymouth Valiant

1962 Plymouth Valiant

Engine: 170 cubic inch Slant 6
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 24,804 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is proud to present this super cool 1962 Plymouth Valiant. The two-toned accent paint job is all original! Despite the typical factory one color paint jobs, it was added at the request of the original buyer and was applied by the manufacturer when originally purchased! In addition, the interior is all original as well! This multiple award winning 1962 Valiant V-200 for sale has only had 1 owner and it is easy to see the love and care they had for this car over the last 56 years! Just walking past this car takes you back to a simpler time when the cars we drove were not just modes of transportation but rather reflection of our personalities. In 1962 Valiant was given a completely new instrument cluster. Like that of the larger 1962 Plymouth models, the new Valiant cluster was highly regarded for its clean design and easy readability. A large round speedometer was placed at the left of the cluster, with separate round gauges for fuel level, engine temperature, and charging system condition (amperes) in a row to the right of the speedometer. Under the hood is possibly the most reliable engine Mopar ever built, the 170 cubic inch Slant 6 engine was bolted in at the factory all those years ago. Still starts and drive with ease! While its not as impressive as a Hemi V8, these little engines never left one stranded. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission for ease of operation. The Automatic transmission pushbuttons are in a column at the left edge of the panel, and heater pushbuttons are in a column at the right edge. A new shallower-dish steering wheel was also introduced. The exhaust system is made of more corrosion-resistant (aluminized) materials, and axle ratios are altered for better fuel economy. Options for this 1962 Plymouth Valiant include: Seat Belts, Vinyl interior, AM Radio, Hub Caps wrapped in White walls. To view this 1962 Plymouth Valiant in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. 1968 Plymouth Barracuda

1968 Plymouth Barracuda

Engine: 383 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 94,873 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Atlanta showroom is a second generation Plymouth Barracuda from 1968. The second-generation Barracuda, still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. The new Barracuda was chiefly the work of John E. Herlitz and John Samsen, with Coke-bottle side contours and heavily revised front and rear ends. Design cues included a concave rear deck panel, wider wheel openings, curved side glass, and S-curved roof pillars on the hardtop. Some points of interest with the 1968 Cudas were that the front and rear bumpers were identical, the rear portion of the roof on the fastback coupe was more streamlined, and the back glass, raked at a substantially horizontal angle, was much smaller compared with that of the previous model. Also, the use of chrome trim on the external sheet metal was more restrained. In 1968, while the 225 cu in (3.7 L) slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two- and four-barrel versions of the 273 cu in (4.5 L) to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in (6.3 L) "B" big-block, rated at 280 bhp (210 kW), the latter available only with the Formula S package. This Barracuda S comes with a Hensler Performance numbers matching rebuilt 383 and a 4 speed transmission,[non numbers matching trans] with just 500-miles on the motor since reinstalled. The dark Green exterior paint is in very good condition, shines brilliantly in the sun and contrasts nicely against the painted steel wheels with dog-dish hub caps. The black vinyl interior appears new and in great condition with only minimal signs of normal wear on the seat belts. The dash also shows no signs of sun fading or cracks. This Barracuda has power steering, and seatbelts. To view this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
