This awesome 1972 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The El Camino, or ELCO, were originally known for the car with a bed appearance. That would all change with the release of the 68 model which had the optional big block engine. With there updated styling and performance people began to take them seriously as a true Muscle Car. This 72 is one of the rare ELCO’s that had the classic muscle car options that still make people go crazy today. Lets just start with the most important pert of a muscle car, what’s under the hood. Though not the original 396 that came in the car this big block sounds great and even runs better. With it being recently rebuilt it is fresh and ready to go. The built 700r4 transmission allows for highway cruising with the OD really coming in handy for that next road trip. The 12 Bolt posi is tough and exactly what you need when having that big block under the hood. Speaking of hood this ELCO’s has cowl induction that works. Smash the gas and watch as the door flips up allowing for some fresh air to feed that 396. The black racing stripes give the ELCO a look that everyone knows and fears. Inside is where this ELCO sets itself apart from the pack. Decoded to be an original bucket seat car with the console mounted shifter this truly is a rare find. Add to all this the round gauges and tach in the dash she truly is a special car. If you are looking for something that you can take on a trip in comfort while getting thumbs up as you rumble pass them this 72 ELCO is the car for you. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome example of multi-purpose American Muscle, the 1970 Chevrolet El Camino! Built with a small block Chevy 350ci V8 engine, and backed up by a Turbo 350 3-speed Automatic Transmission, you will be ready for the show, driving down the street, or hauling lumber in this classic beauty. The paint job is very reminiscent of the 60’s in this beautiful Forrest Green. Inside the car, we have a luscious tan leather interior on bucket seats which contrasts the exterior very well. This car had gone through a mild restoration and was actually re-painted to match the original vehicle color. The engine and transmission are fresh with less than 1000 miles on them with upgrades like aluminum heads, RV cam, and Holley 4-barrel So it is very good to know the quality of work put into this restoration. Also inside the car, it comes equipped with 2 subwoofers behind the seats to give a better show appeal to the car. This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST.Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this “Sweet” 1970 Chevrolet El Camino. What is it? A car? A truck? A car-truck? It’s none of the above. It’s Chevrolet’s ICONIC El Camino and if you want to get technical, it is a coupe utility. The El Camino was based on a two-door station wagon and although it was based on a car line, it’s titled and classified as a truck. What you see here is not the average 1970 El Camino. The “Elky’s” were known to have rust issues, which makes a solid body basic El Camino highly sought after. This El Camino not only has a solid body, it received a refresher recently. The refresher consisted of a new 350, 350 horsepower engine installed along with a 350 transmission. That means this 1970 El Camino is “Show and Go.” Oh yeah…mash that pedal to the metal and watch this El Camino go quickly from mild to wild. The exterior and drivetrain could not be freshened up without touching the interior. Inside, you will find tan leather bucket seats. The tan color compliments the Forrest Green exterior while keeping it unique, classy, and simple. You will also find a three-gauge cluster displaying water temp, oil pressure, volts. Options include AM/FM Radio, Cassette, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Raised White Lettered Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS

1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS

Engine: 396 CID V8
Transmission: Turbo-400
Mileage: 95,379 ( undocumented )

Now for sale at our Houston showroom is this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS. This is a numbers matching 396 CID V8 truck with all the power and torque you could ever want! It made 429hp on the dyno. The sound this truck makes is amazing. The color combination looks amazing with blue exterior and interior to match. Cornering and stopping is made easy with power brakes and power steering. The Turbo-400 transmission is a great match for the torque in this truck and shifts smooth between the gears. The front wheel bearing and seals have been replaces, parking brakes were repaired, new tires installed about 1-year ago, all door locks repaired to work correctly, new fan blad, clutch and fan shroud done, new spark plugs, fuel lines and carb kit done too. All of the bed rails have been replaced underneath. 1968 was the first year for the third generation of El Camino, which was based on the Chevelle station wagon and four-door sedan wheelbase. For 1969 only minor changes took place, led by a more rounded front end styling language. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. New round instrument pods replaced the former linear layout. For the first time, the Chevrolet 350 V8 was used in an El Camino. The Super Sport group included a 265- or 325-horsepower 396-cubic-inch V8 beneath a double-domed hood, along with a black-out grille displaying an SS emblem. Curiously, back-up lights moved from the rear bumper to the tailgate, where they were ineffective when the gate was down. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 383 CID V8 Stroker
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 80,301 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1965 Chevrolet El Camino. This 65’ El Camino is finished in bright white exterior paint and features a turquoise vinyl interior. The turquoise interior is almost all new. The vinyl upholstery and carpet have been recently replaced, and look fantastic. The air conditioning works great, and keeps everyone cool on hot summer days. Providing the unique look and stance are the 20” chrome aluminum/alloy wheels, that resemble the awesome and iconic IROC-Z wheel design. A wheel designer simply took the wheel design and modernized it by enlarging and chroming them. It worked so well, people started putting the wheels on everything, not just Camaro IROC-Zs. Low profile radial tires provide an almost all wheel appearance, completing the custom look. The odometer reads 80,301, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1965 Chevrolet El Camino include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Vinyl Interior, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. 1957 Chevrolet 210

1957 Chevrolet 210

Engine: 327 V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 73,010 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop. This sweet little 210 is powered by a 327 small block Chevy and backed by a manual 4-speed transmission. Power is sent to a stock '57 rear end housing a set of 3.36:1 rear gears allowing for fun around town yet still very highway worthy. The paint is base coat clear coat Quasar Blue Metallic, is roughly 2-3 years old, is still looking great and right at home on this '57 210. Inside you'll find a stock appearing interior with correct 210 seats. Most restorations seem to lean towards Bel Air interiors regardless if they’re Bel Airs or not. The 210 looks just as good and is in an Ivory and Charcoal color scheme that goes quite well with the Quasar Blue Metallic. Miles are showing 73,010 and are believed to be original. Modern upgrades include an aluminum radiator to help dissipate heat and keep the engine running cool. Adding to the aluminum radiator is an electric cooling fan. These electric fans are very good to have during any summer parade or stuck in traffic where the clutch fan isn't spinning fast enough to keep things cool. Brakes are original style drums and are brand new. An Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold helps breath cool air into the heads and an Edelbrock carburetor supplies the fuel. Edelbrock has sure made a name for themselves over the years and this easy to use carburetor solidifies their great reputation. Other notable restoration items include a new windshield, new side glass and rubber gaskets for the doors, windshield and trunk. 1957 Chevy's are as American as Apple Pie and probably one of the most recognizable cars ever built.
