Engine: 393 CID V8Transmission: 4-Speed AutomaticMileage: 20,000 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars is proud to announce this outstanding 1948 Ford Deluxe Convertible for sale in our Scottsdale Showroom. This high-end, complete rebuild has had some very respectable hands involved in its restoration, utilizing an array of top-notch components and it shows! This build began with a 1948 Ford Deluxe V-8 Convertible beautifully restored to its original condition with burgundy paint and a tan top. A photo album details the build step-by-step, highlighting each stage. Kugel Komponents provided their expertise by customizing the chassis to handle the torque of a supercharged engine and fabricating a state-of-the-art independent suspension with calibrated coil-over shocks front and rear. Mitech Racing Engines bored and stroked a Ford Windsor engine out to 393 Cubic inches. Topped by a BDS Supercharger and dual Holley carbs, this engine produced 520 HP and 468 ft./lbs. of torque when dyno’d. A Ford C4 transmission has been called upon to put this immense power to the pavement. The removable Carson top and windshield chop are the work of Gene Winfield. The fenders were sculpted to the body, the final preparations made and “Candy Brandywine” paint was applied by Hot Rods by Boyd Coddington. This was one of the very last cars to come out of his shop in La Habra, CA. Bills Auto Upholstery in Brea, CA provided the luxurious all-leather camel interior with heated power seats. Many modifications were performed, some of which include: Installation of a 3.90:1 Posi Independent Rear End, 20-gallon Rock Valley stainless steel fuel tank, rack and pinion power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes w/electric vacuum pump, power windows, A/C, custom-made “Dougs Headers”, Blaupunkt Satellite Stereo System, “Appleton” spotlights on drivers & Passenger sides and the list is almost endless! You will want to make a trip to our Scottsdale Showroom just to see this unique and prestigious 1948 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible for sale NOW at Gateway Classic Cars in Scottsdale, Arizona. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this all original 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The performance of the Mustang with 289 and 390 engines was not up to the Camaro, with its small block and big block V8. To improve the Mustang's image Ford made a 428 Cobra Jet V8 and a Ford Boss 302 engine optional for the 1968 mid-year and 1969 models, respectively. This 1970 Boss 302 is a numbers’ matching 302 CID V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission with Hurst Shifter and POSI rear with 3:91 gears. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS. This Camaro SS is truly a special car. It is powered by its original and freshly rebuilt 396CID V8 big block featuring the legendary “272” 4-bolt main engine block with forged crankshaft, dimple rods, hi-dome pistons, and GM camshaft. This incredible powerhouse is backed by its original and super smooth shifting Muncie M-20 4-speed manual transmission and its original 12-bolt posi-traction rear-end with 3:73 rear differential. That’s right, this Camaro is numbers matching all the way thru! This Camaro is a very rare find and has barely been broken in with only just over 100 miles on its nut and bolt restoration! The car comes in an eye catching and vibrant rallye green with appropriate and original white pin striping. The car has aggressive and classic 5-spoke Rally rims which are iconic on any older muscle car. The interior of the car seems as if it has been untouched by the hands of time. The vinyl and carpet are incredibly clean, and the rest of the interior matches the same cleanliness. This X-22 coded car was fully restored in February 2017 and was treated to a full rotisserie, frame-off restoration. The previous owner had the car inspected and verified by a Chevrolet Big Block appraiser/inspector that the stampings were original to the block and the front pad broach markings verified that it is original to the car. This car is much more than just a muscle car, it is a work of art and timeless American automotive history.
