Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this low mileage 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1. It all started in 1984 as General Motors vice president Lloyd Reuss, set out to develop the most agile and strong domestic car that Detroit had ever seen. Enter the ZR-1. The ZR-1 Corvettes were marketed as the "King of the Hill", which they deservingly were, with a Lotus designed, Mercury Marine manufactured, 5.7-liter all aluminum 32 valve-DOHC LT5 V-8 hiding under the hood. At that time, to develop an American multi-stage valve engine was quite the task, but as the numbers report, GM hit the jackpot. Producing a lofty 375 horsepower, 370 ft-lbs torque, compression ratio of 11.0: 1, this C4 was playing with the likes of Italian made exotics. This car did exactly what GM executives wanted, to be able to run with the best Italian sports cars of the time, and prove to the world that America can compete with the best. Taking the HP to the rear wheels is a unique and beefy, ZF-designed (code-named ML9) six-speed manual transmission, which uses CAGS (Computer Aided Gear Se¬lection) that automatically short-shifts from first to fourth under light throttle. Made famous by the Porsche 959, the ZR-1 is equipped with FX3 selective ride and handling controls, allowing its user to switch between three varying options that range from Touring to Performance. All of which are delivered via the heavy-duty Z51 independent short/long arm five-link suspension system. At the rear, you’ll find asphalt shredding 11 inch treads attached to 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, thus making this ZR-1's rear exclusively 3 inches wider and an authority in the high-speed hair-pin turns. Options on this 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 for sale include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Glass and Hard Targa Tops, Seat Belts, Cruise Control, Lumbar Support, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Seats, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, Traction Control, Ride Control, Driver and Passenger Air Bags, Anti-Theft System, Leather Interior, Rear Window Defogger, Performance Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This Zr-1 also comes with a clean Autocheck report, window sticker, build sheet, and a car cover. With only 4,186 actual miles on the odometer of this 1990 ZR-1, you will be hard pressed to find a cleaner one out there. This 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 for sale is located in our Indianapolis Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please call (317)688-1100 or email us at INDY@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this rare & sleek 1992 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1. In the early 90s the ZR-1 would set a new record for the highest 24 hour-5,000 mile land-speed by going over 175 mph. The C4 represented a clean break from the previous generation of Corvette with a completely new chassis and modern, sleeker styling. This beauty is shown in its original deep black paint that is still in very nice condition. The paint still has a high gloss finish and is free from any major scratches, dings, dents, or blemishes. It still has all of its original body panels and no evidence of any body work on the car. The deep black looks great and is a personal favorite Corvette color of the Houston showroom. The doors open & close with ease and the overall condition of the exterior is very nice for an all original 1992 car. The bumpers, light lenses, mirrors, & glass are all in the same great condition. The car sits on its original ZR-1 chrome wheels that are wrapped in some high-performance Nitto tires that have plenty of life left in them. Behind those wheels you find a set of performance drilled & slotted steel disc rotors that help bring all 375HP to stop on a dime. The rear hatch is also in great working shape and the glass is clean. Powering this black bullet down the road is the original LT5 5.7L 350 CiD V8 that produces 375HP & 370 lb-ft of torque out of the gate. The ZR-1 motor is & has been famous since its creation for being an extremely well balanced, reliable, & high performing engine out of the box. 1992 was also the first year the ASR (acceleration slip regulation) or traction control was added to the platform. The engine is completely stock and unmolested from factory, as you can see the engine bay is very clean and all items are in their factory locations. The Lotus designed engine is paired to the 6-speed manual transmission that shifts firm & smooth. Rowing gears in a 375HP corvette is pretty much why muscle cars exist for many people, as this car is an absolute thrill to drive. Did we mention this car has only 56k miles on it?? Looking at the interior you will find a beautiful black leather & cloth set up that is all factory. The seats are comfortable and free from any tears or rips. The carpet, door panels, & dash are in fantastic condition and show very well. We love the black on black color combination. The targa top comes off with ease and with it removed the car still feels rigid and always in control. All of the options on the car work as they should, and the car has all the signs of being a nice low mileage car that has been well cared for over the years. The car is just as clean on the under side as the top side. No rust to be found on the car and it is a really stunning car to drive & just admire at your next car meet.

Now available in our Dallas/Ft. Worth Showroom is this 1992 Chevrolet Corvette. Are you ready zip around either through the city, down the highway or back country roads? Well if so, this 1992 Chevrolet Corvette is waiting for you. The ’92 falls into the C4 (4th generation) of Vettes and represents a complete clean break from the Zora Arkus-Duntov-designed C3, with a completely new chassis and sleeker, more modern but still evolutionary styling. It was the work of a team under chief Corvette designer Dave McLellan, who'd taken over from Duntov in 1975. In a departure from the fiberglass panels of its forebearers, the C4's rear bumpers and panels were made from molding plastics, a sheet molding compound. The C4 fastback coupe was the first general production Corvette to have a glass hatchback for better storage access. The Corvette C4 came standard with an electronic dashboard with a digital liquid crystal display dash, with graphics for speed and RPM and digital displays for other important engine functions. This white Corvette is equipped with a Targa top, air conditioning, power locks, power windows, power steering and brakes, cruise control and a tilt steering wheel. You’ll sit comfortably in the red leather power seats with lumbar support and have the fun of driving the 350 V8 with its 6-speed manual transmission. You’re bound to turn a lot of heads when you’re cruising in this awesome car! This 1991 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 91 Corvette was based on the C4 platform which was introduced in 1984. The looks of the car were revolutionary but when released you could only get a coupe. 1986 would change all of that with the introduction of the convertible back to the line-up. This red example is a 3-owner car with the current one owning it for the past 16 years. With a clean auto history, you can buy this beauty with confidence. The red paint is in exceptional condition especially considering its 27 years old. The black convertible top is in just as good condition with no signs of leaking. Naturally if the weather is right riding with the top down is the only way to go. Inside the black leather shows nicely with the seats being rather comfortable. Hit the key and the fuel injected small block comes to life quickly. Drop it down in drive and smash the gas with the AOD transmission taking care of all the work. With those huge tires hugging the road hitting that curvy stretch is not a problem at all. If it does happen to slip the traction control will help you out or leave it off for the full experience. If you have been looking for a clean unmolested convertible C4 Corvette this Red Rocket should be at the top of your list. Options on this 1991 Chevrolet Corvette include; AM/FM/CD/Cassette, AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Seats, Power Windows, Power Locks, Traction Control, Driver Airbag, Anti-Theft System, Tilt Wheel, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is this gorgeous tuxedo black 1959 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. This stunning 2 top Vette has a beautiful red interior, a 270 hp 2x4 solid lift 283 with a 4-speed transmission and wide whitewalls with knockoff hubcaps. To the credit of all involved, the 1959 Corvette was “cleaned up” considerably. For one, the chrome “suspenders” were removed from the design, providing Corvette with a more swept back look that was synonymous with speed. For another, it was decided that the faux hood louvers would be eliminated, returning the Corvette to a semblance of its former self. While these features were key identifiers of the 1958 Corvette, there was no question that the elimination of the excessive chrome would reduce weight and help increase performance. Much like the exterior of the Corvette, the interior received minor, but significant updates as well. Both the door handles and the armrests were repositioned and a small-item storage compartment was added beneath the passenger side grab bar. In addition, both the driver and passenger seats were redesigned to offer increased lateral support of their occupants. All tachometers now indicated up to 7,000 rpm and offered redline and safe limit indicators. Sun visors were introduced to the 1959 Corvette as a new option and concave instrument lenses replaced the flat covers of the 1958 Corvette, thereby reducing sun glare (and other reflections) that might cause a driver to become distracted. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD photos and videos, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
