1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

Engine: 6.6L 400 CID V8
Transmission: TH-400 Automatic
Mileage: 1,574 ( undocumented )

We are trilled to offer to for sale in our Saint Louis Showroom this Chesterfield Brown 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Accenting the Chesterfield Brown exterior is the tan phoenix, or screaming chicken depending on who you talk to, and the Camel Tan vinyl interior. The paint was resprayed at some point and shines with pride. The vinyl interior is believed to be original, it has aged very well, showing little signs of wear and aging. Powering this 78’ Trans Am is a W72 6.6L 400 4BBL V8, which is believed to be the original engine it rolled off the assembly line with. The W72 400 V8 was more powerful than the standard L78 by at least 20 horserpower. The 3-speed automatic transmission is also believed to be original and shifts the power to the rear end beautifully. The 2nd generation of GM/Pontiac’s F-Body vehicles hosted an array of impressive body lines, eye-opening powertrain, and new options for over a decade (1970-1981), and this specific arrival is a shining example of why the 2nd generation held such a lengthy tenure. The odometer on this T/A reads 1,574, which has rolled over, and the actual mileage is believed to be 101,574. Options for this 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am include: Air Conditioning (inoperable), AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. This is a PHS documentated 78’ Trans Am that has been maintained, cared for, and runs and drives incredibly well. To view this 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix

1974 Pontiac Grand Prix

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 74,403 ( actual )

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this beautiful 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix. This is one of the best original survivor cars that we have seen here in our South Florida showroom. With less than 75k original miles on the clock the car is in overall great condition. The original paint is in superb condition for being over 44 years old. We checked all body panels with our paint meter and this is the real deal. Thin and good looking. The same goes with the interior. All original and clean from the dash to the rear bench seat. Jump in the buckets seats and start her up. The 400ci V8 engine sounds strong and it is a pleasure to cruise around town in this clean 74 Grand Prix. The 3 speed automatic transmission shifts smooth through all gears. We are always amazed when those original survivor cars roll in our showrooms. Unfortunately this doesn’t happen every day. If you are looking to get an all original mid 70’s Pontiac Grand Prix than this is a must have for you. The chance to find one in comparable condition is pretty slim, especially in this beautiful color combination. The GP is equipped with following options: A/C, Spare Tire, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Steering, Jack, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, White Walls, Rally Wheels and a lot of fun. This is the real deal and must see. Please give us a call to discuss the Pontiac. Let it ride!!! 1975 Pontiac Grandville

1975 Pontiac Grandville

Engine: 455 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 81,050 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars in Scottsdale, Arizona loves Pontiacs and has great pride in offering up this rarely-seen and well-maintained 1975 Pontiac Gran Ville Brougham convertible. The Gran Ville was Pontiac’s top-trim model in their lineup of cars from 1971 through 1974 and “Brougham” was added to the name of the model in 1975. Standard equipment in the final year of production of the 1975 Grand Ville Brougham Convertible included power windows and a carpeted trunk. Other equipment included with this light blue beauty is a tilt wheel, power locks, power brakes, power steering, an AM/FM Radio with 8-track tape player, A/C and cruise control. The interior is adorned with power white leather seats to match the convertible top paired with blue carpeting and accents. The ‘70’s oil crisis meant higher fuel prices, gasoline shortages, long lines at the pumps and reduced production and sales of new, full-sized “gas guzzlers”. Despite this, Pontiac still gave their customers what they wanted and more in their flagship for 1975 with a 400 cubic-inch engine standard. This numbers matching (Gateway Classic Cars can neither confirm or verify the claims of their consigners regarding matching numbers, actual miles, etc.) Gran Ville Brougham, however, has the optional 455 cubic-inch engine matched with a 5-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. Each of the Gran Ville Brougham’s corporate cousins, the Oldsmobile 88 Royale, Buick LeSabre/Centurion, Chevrolet Caprice Classic and Cadillac Eldorado produced more vehicles in 1975 than did Pontiac in their Brougham. You’ll see by viewing Gateway Classic Cars web page dedicated to this 1975 Gran Ville Brougham Convertible, with its over 100 pictures and a video of it in operation, that Pontiac spared no expense in bringing this beautiful car to life. Find it, and many other incredible classic and exotic cars in the Scottsdale, Arizona Showroom by going to gatewayclassiccars.com or call (623)-900-4884 to set up an appointment to see them all. 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix

1974 Pontiac Grand Prix

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 54,981 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer a super clean 1974 Grand Prix Model J. There is a class of vehicle which is becoming more and more difficult to find: original and unrestored. With the popularity of resto-mods, or complete frame off restorations, there are fewer and fewer survivors out there. This particular 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix is an unrestored car with 54,986 original miles. The engine and trans are original and believed to have never been out of the car. It has the 400 CID V8 and an automatic which run and shift beautifully. The exterior is green which is in surprising great shape for the age of the vehicle. Needless to say, most mid 70s muscle cars have either been wrapped around trees or rusted to pieces. It great to see such a well-preserved piece of Pontiac history. Opening the door is like stepping back in time. The green upholstery is in wonderful condition as is the dash and steering wheel. This was a high line vehicle in the 70s, so it’s loaded with all the goodies: Air Conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette, power steering, power brakes, and even power windows! Whether you’re a Pontiac collector, or just entering the classic car hobby, this cream puff 1974 Grand Prix Model J would be a great addition to any collection. You can see this beauty in greater detail in our Chicago showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 708-444-4488 or chicago@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries. 1976 Pontiac Trans Am

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 11,750 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of houston is proud to offer up this extremely beautiful 1976 Pontiac Trans am. Between the classic styling and beautiful paintjob, this car screams late 70's muscle. Under the hood of this sweet ride is a massive 400 CID V8. This engine provides loads of torque and makes these cars very fun to drive. When started up, this beast has a nice and low pitch to it that does a good job of making its presence known without being too loud. When driving, the engine runs smoothly and cruises nicely. When it comes time to let the radial tires eat up the concrete, this baby sure moves in a hurry with plenty of torque and force. Sending all of that power rearward is a three speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable ride. Overall the powertrain in this car is very nice and runs well. Moving outward, the exterior is finished in an eye-catching Firethorn red. The paint has just been detailed and is in a very good driver condition. Supporting each corner of this classic muscle car are paint matched rally wheels that are in good condition. Wrapped around those rally wheels are radial tires with good tread life left in them to ensure plenty of grip. Subtly tucked behind the front wheels are disc brakes that ensure proper stopping power. Upon entering this sweet ride, the driver will be greeted by a very clean black interior. The interior features black vinyl seats that are very comfortable and in good condition. Courtesy lights allow for easy entry and exit of the vehicle during night drives. Keeping the interior of this sweet ride at a comfortable temperature all year are functioning heat and AC that blows cold. If the driver ever tires of listening to the big V8, the functioning radio will provide an enjoyable audio experience. Continuing with enjoyable experiences, the driver shan't worry about slow speed maneuvering thanks to power steering and power brakes. Overall the interior of the car is in just as good of condition as the exterior.
