For sale in our Chicago showroom is this stunningly original 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. Powered by the original drive train, including the “H9C” 383 CID V8, “D32” heavy duty automatic transmission, and 3.23 limited slip rear axle, this is a real time capsule. With a believed original mileage of just under 20,000, there is still miles upon miles of life left in this classic Mopar. Turning the key fires up this Road Runner into a slightly lopey idle, and slaps a smile right on your face.

The matching green interior is in incredible shape with only minor imperfections, but what better could you expect for a car that has seen things like the end of the Beatles, the start and end of the Vietnam War, and the invention of the mobile phone? This powerful Plymouth just floats down the road and looks great doing it. The suspension feels solid with no squeaks or rattles.

Save for one repaint, this is as original as most people will be able to find for such a coveted classic. Options include: AM Radio, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires with Raise White Letters, and Rally Wheels. Other 1968 - 1970 Plymouth

1970 Plymouth Duster

Engine: 340 Four Barrel V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 30380 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars Ft. Lauderdale showroom is proud to offer this one of one 1970 Moulin Rouge and Black Plymouth Duster. This Duster is the only one known to exist with this color combo. The Duster coupe provided the compact sized Plymouth Valiant with a sporty body style. The Valiant badge only appeared on the first model year Dusters. Built on the Valiant platform, they shared the same front end, but had a different design from the cowl back. Designed to compete with The Ford Maverick, the AMC Hornet, Nova, and oddly enough the VW Beetle. This beautifully restored 1970 Duster is a matching numbers masterpiece. And was featured in Mopar Magazines April 2005 edition. With all the factory markings reapplied to the finished restoration. Every grease pencil mark and paint splotch went back where the factory placed them. At the 2004 All Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle, this 1970 Duster occupied a place of honor in the invitational building along with other illustrious factory show cars. The Black vinyl interior looks as good as new and feels just as comfortable. One very rarely finds a muscle era Mopar with a contrasting color painted roof. Powered by the original 340 V8, mated to a four speed with the shifter placed before a black bench seat. A 3.55 Sure Grip rear end makes it easy to light up the F70-14 Polyglas tires on the 14” Ralleys. This one of a kind 1970 Plymouth Duster is an absolute blast to drive and will most likely get more attention that any vehicle it pulls up next to. Options on this magnificent 1970 Plymouth Duster include AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Rally Wheels. This 1970 Plymouth Duster is located in our FT. Lauderdale Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including a High Def video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1968 Plymouth Road Runner

Engine: 383 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 71804 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia offers this iconic muscle car, a real 1968 Plymouth Road Runner at our showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! The concept of the biggest “bang for your buck” is thoroughly embodied by the Plymouth Road Runner as buyers got a whole lotta car for one heck of a price. The manufacturer was going after the youth market, a demographic that was previously not inclined to visit a Plymouth showroom. Plymouth Vice President Bob Anderson sought the advice of auto journalists to answer the big question, what kind of car would a young person buy? The answer was an affordable, stripped mid-sized performance car that had a recognizable, catchy name. Jack Smith, then manager of Plymouth’s B-Body planning group and the man behind the beep-beep, was watching a Saturday morning cartoon featuring the familiar coyote and road runner noting, “The cartoon character was hot off the line, it was fast, it never got beaten and could stop on a dime.” Well, after some deliberation and a lot of convincing, Plymouth launched the Road Runner in 1968 and it was met with remarkable success. Now available, you too can own this great car coated in a loud Omaha orange paint and sporty black hood stripes that pair beautifully with the sharp black vinyl top. This fast bird rumbles with numbers matching 383 CID V8 coupled to a four-speed manual transmission that shifts with ease. HEI ignition means you’re good to go in terms of spark and listen to that great “beep beep” horn! The car went through a fresh rotisserie restoration in April 2017, with a complete undercoating and has new chrome Magnum 500 wheels surrounded by some new rubber. Sit down on the comfortable black bench seat and enjoy some tunes coming from the Retrosound® Bluetooth stereo that sounds terrific. The interior features a new headliner, new carpet, door panels, armrests and package tray! The car has new hoses, mufflers, tailpipes, fuel and brake lines and a new gas tank! This Road Runner is ready to go! Are you able to outsmart it and tame the famed bird? Give us a call today and give that coyote a run for his money! To view this 1968 Plymouth Road Runner in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II

Engine: 360 CID V8
Transmission: 727 Torque Flite
Mileage: 85155 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Louisville showroom is this very nice 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II Convertible. Merriam-Webster defines ‘Belvedere’ as “A structure designed to command a view”. This old school 2-door convertible is not only a beautiful sight to behold, but it’s also packed chock full of horsepower with a very healthy, ground-thumping 360 cubic-inch Chrysler V8. A 3-speed automatic 727 Torqueflite transmission gives a good launch and delivers the raw power to the rear axle with ease. A beautiful red paint covers the exterior of this car, standing up to the definition of its name, Belvedere, better than expected. This car may sound hot, but aesthetically it truly is cooler than cool. Open the door up and be welcomed to a fantastic black vinyl interior in excellent condition. The nicely kept cabin provides a smooth old-school look and feel that really brings you back to 1967. A modern radio brings a high-quality sound to an already great sounding car, but why anybody would want to listen to today’s drama over the deep rumble of this beastly engine is beyond me. This classic Mopar is the kind of car that you can race to the grocery store, or cruise to the drag strip. Options include: AM/FM/CD Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Convertible Top, Radial Tires and Vinyl Interior. For more information on this sweet 1967 Plymouth Belvedere, contact our Louisville showroom at 812-294-1555 or louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com.
