For sale in our Chicago showroom is this awesome 1989 Ford Low Tilt C8000, Firetruck. In the late 1950s Ford began producing one of the longest running medium-duty cab-over engine truck lines, the C-Series. Production ran from 1957 all the way through 1990.

The C-Series was the longest-produced commercial truck in North America at the time it ceased production, running for 33 years, and it still holds high ranks with currently being the third longest-produced.

Powered by the numbers matching Caterpillar 10.4L Diesel V8 engine, this retired Firetruck spent many years serving American communities and accumulated just over 35,000 miles in doing so.

Being a truck with a very specific purpose in mind, this vehicle does not have many creature comforts. It was, however, produced with safety in mind and equipped with seat belts for each occupant. With this truck being as heavy as it is, utilizing power steering and power (air) brakes allows it to drive quite gracefully.

Finished in a bright, clean Fire Engine Red exterior, this truck shines like the diamond it is. The inside cab and rear reversed seats are all finished in a black vinyl that was designed, and has proven to hold up to the many years of seeing abuse due to its occupants taking emergency action.

This truck is a very nice salute to our first responders, and deserves to be enjoyed for the rest of its retirement. Options include: Flip Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior. 1989 Ford Mustang GT

1989 Ford Mustang GT

Engine: 5.0L V8 F OHV
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 79892 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this super clean 1989 Ford Mustang GT. Between the deep red paint and the mean exhaust note, this sweet ride is sure to put a smile on the new owners' face. Under the hood of this beauty is the stock 5.0-liter V8 that pulls well and provides plenty of power for a fun, spirited drive. Sending power to the rear end is a C4 four-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears while staying firm enough for and engaged driving experience. The rear end ratio is 2.73 to provide a better top end peroformance rather than shorter gearing. The car sounds extra mean thanks to a new X-pipe Flowmaster exhaust. Overall, the powertrain of this beauty runs well and sounds just as good. Moving inward, the drivr will be greeted by white leather power seats that are in pretty good condition. These seats provide the occupants with good support while still being comfortable enough to sit in for longer drives. An added saftey feature, the car now has new maximum motorsports four-point roll bar with harness brace. Attached to that roll bar is a fire extinguisher mount. In the summer months the driver will appreciate the powered soft top that goes up and down with haste. If the driver is in the mood for a normal drive, the functioning air conditioning will keep the cabin cool. This car is of course also equipped with heat for those colder months. Power windows and power locks also add to the convenience features of this sweet ride. Overall, the interior is in good shape and is comfortable. Moving outward, the exterior is in very good condition featuring deep maroon paint with a good shine. The white soft top is also in very good condition and adds a good bit of contrast. The car sits atop new reproduction wheels wrapped in new summer performance tires. Overall, this is a very solid car that would be well suited as a daily driver or a weekend toy. 1988 Ford Bronco II

1988 Ford Bronco II

Engine: 2.9L V6 FI
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual w/OD
Mileage: 78409 ( undocumented )

This awesome 1988 Ford Bronco II is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Bronco II was introduced in 1984 in response to the gas shortage and the cry for a smaller SUV. The public responded well to the little Bronco until the Explorer was released in 1990. With its short production life these little SUV’s are far and few in between today making this example a rare find. Going through a frame off restoration this example is one of the nicest in the market today. The Deep Forest Green paint looks almost blue in some light and black in others. The correct 2.9-liter V6 was rebuilt giving the 88 a new lease on life. With the transmission and transfer case rebuilt as well, this compact SUV is ready for the road. The manual 4-wheel drive with locking hubs give you confidence when taking it off the pavement. The 31.5 Grabber Tires on the 15” aluminum wheels are designed to work great on any surface. The 3” body lift combined with a 2” Skyjacker suspension lift give you plenty of clearance while giving the B Bronco a great look. Open the doors and you are welcomed to a fresh interior that looks like it came right out of 1988. The front buckets have been fitted with adjustable lumbar allowing for a custom fit. The new headliner looks as it should with the brand-new steering wheel completing this extremely clean interior. If you have been looking for a turn key frame off restored Bronco II that has been completely gone through your search is over. Options on this 1988 Ford Bronco II include; AC, AM/FM/CD, Cloth Interior, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Located in our Louisville Showroom, this frame off restored 1988 Ford Bronco II can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1965 Ford Mustang

1965 Ford Mustang

Engine: 298 V6
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 32999 ( undocumented )

We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, Power mirrors etc… This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged "Hi-Po" "K-code" 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT"). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the "GT Equipment Package" and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as "Pony Interior" due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Ford's success at that year's Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14" rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5". Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
