For sale in our Chicago showroom is this timeless 1932 Ford 4 Door Sedan. This hot rod is powered by a 350-cubic inch GM crate engine that produces 290 horsepower. The motor was purchased new during the cars rebuild in 2016 and currently has just over 1,500 trouble-free miles on it. The transmission, a GM 700R4, was professionally rebuilt at the same time and feeds power into the 3.42:1 geared rear end that was taken out of a Chevy S10.

These pieces are assembled to unite as one on a brand-new powder coated frame. When you need to test the front Wilwood brakes it is all sure to stop quickly.

Once the all steel body was striped to the bare metal, it got a fresh base coat of black, only to be glazed over by a smooth, shiny clear coat to finish it off. To almost perfectly contrast the deep, dark exterior, the interior is finished in a sinister-looking red vinyl. It really takes this classic, yet modest looking hot rod to a whole new level. If hearing the healthy Small Block Chevy didn’t do enough for you, the red-in-black color scheme would make the humblest of ladies go nuts if they saw it driving down the street. While the battery is tucked out of sight to keep aesthetics high, a set of remote charging ports were installed under the frame, should you need a quick jump.

This timeless, yet rarely seen 4 Door Sedan is ready to cruise the strip or hit the local car shows. Options include: Air Conditioning, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, AM/FM Radio, CD, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Vinyl Interior.

1932 Ford Sedan

1932 Ford Sedan

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 196 ( undocumented )

Now available in our DFW Showrooms is this custom built 1932 Ford Sedan. Today, the 1932 Model B, although always a little bit in the shadow of the V8, is a highly collectible car and people will pay high dollars to restore one to original specification, which is ironic, as they were once cheap "throwaway" cars popular with hot rodders who would tear them apart and use them as the basis for a "build". This is partly why it is so hard to find an unaltered specimen today. Our 1932 is no exception as it has been rebuilt from the ground up! When starting with a custom-rod, where else do you begin then heart of the vehicle. This 1932 is powered around by a straight out the GM crate- Mr.Goodwrench 350-V8 motor, with aluminum heads, edelbrock carb 650 CFM, and a MSD Ignition. Which creates plenty of ponies to the back wheels. Speaking of wheels, this ride is rolling on a fabulous combo set of US-Mags wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. These all connect to Rust’No’More chassis and a fiberglass body sitting on top. Other additional upgrades to this vehicle include: Aluminum rod 3 core speedway, Pete & Jake frontend, SoCal gas tank, Disc brakes, and Muffler headers. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. The bodywork and DuPont Hot Rod Black paint was completed by Shadowoods in MI and graphics done by Dennis Shephard. Gauges were done by SO-CAL Speed Shop in Pomona and Moon Equipment in Santa Fe Springs. Seats were done by Roadster Shop in IL and Willy’s Workshop completed the upholstery. It is finished in Pendleton Del Rio wool Indian blanket, python skin & camel wool highlights. The carpet is also wool. This was the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau “Flagship Promotional Vehicle” commissioned to showcase Detroit’s automotive heritage. Designed by Chris Baum, the D-Rod, was built by Rick Dyer at Detroit Muscle with input from Ford, Chrysler and GM Executives. Chrysler provided a pre-production 392 CID V8, 525hp Hemi crate engine that was first shown at SEMA. Chrysler had Arrow Racing Engines release one of the first hand-built development engines for the D-Rod build. The transmission is a 4-speed Chrysler 518 automatic. The build also used a vast ’32 Roadster aftermarket to create a high-performance vehicle that is truly a unique ’32 Ford Roadster. Dearborn Duce proved an all-steel ’32 body with a disappearing top assembly. The frame is a Lobeck’s Deuce frame equipped with a 9-inch ford rear end, a Magnum 4-inch dropped tube axle, bobbed rear rails and four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. 1932 Ford Model 18 Roadster

1932 Ford Model 18 Roadster

Engine: 221 CID Flathead V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 100 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Detroit showroom is a Henry Ford syledl 1932 Ford Model 18 Roadster with a Rumble Seat. This car not only incorporates the iconic design of the late 20's and early 30's but also has a blast-from-the-past rumble seat that is perfect for the little ones. By the late 1920's the Model T was becoming less competitive in the market with other manufacturers offering more modern conveniences at reasonable prices. The folks at Ford fought to get old Henry to produce something that was good looking and reliable but also more sturdy and easier to drive and thus the Model A was born. This styling would later become one of the most iconic cars of the 1930's, and allowed families to travel longer distances with more comfort. In 1932, Ford brought out a working-class V-8 and forever blurred the lines between factory performance, transportation and hot rods. This lightweight Wescott Body is paired to a potent Flathead V8 sports roughly 100 miles on a rebuild. For that reason alone, the '32 Ford would have earned its place as a performance archetype. Throw in some of the best styling to leave Dearborn in the prewar era and you have the makings of possibly the most sought-after mass-produced interwar car. Luckily, by the time the Model A came around, you could have it in any color you like. This particular roadster comes in Washington Blue, which is paired perfectly with the dark Brown interior. The interior provides comfort you can expect from a newly upholstered bench seat with a rumble seat that looks just as nice. If you are looking for a real steel Model A that retains a large part of its originality and great drivability, then this is the Model A for you. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 125HD pictures and video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information on this 1932 Ford Model 18, email us at Detroit@GatewayClassiCars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff at 313-982-3100.

1972 Ford LTD Brougham

1972 Ford LTD Brougham

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 49,948 ( actual )

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this luxurious 1972 Ford LTD. LTD’s are great mixture of luxury, comfort, & power, which was the goal when introduced by Ford all the way back in 1965. This is because it has enough room to seat 5-6 comfortably, yet still enough power to zip around. 1972 models were virtually the same as the '71s, although the bumper now stretched across the lower section of the grille. A new rear bumper integrated the taillights; also, in the rear, the design of the trunk lid was squared off. Due to decreased demand in the segment, 1972 was the final model year for the LTD convertible. This LTD is painted a beautiful baby-blue, with an original top, which remains in very good shape, especially when you consider its age. The interior also appears to be original cloth in good shape, with paisley designs on the lower-half, which was very popular choice back in the early-mid 70’s. All this is powered around by 400-V8 2 Barrel motor/ 3-speed automatic, that gives you plenty of power to haul around a full set of passengers or speed around alone. Finally, my favorite part to this vehicle, as all this sets on fancy set of white-wall tires and Ford Motor Company wheels, with a crown in the center, marking this vehicle is fit for a King or Queen. Is that you? For additional information on this 1972 Ford LTD, email us at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com or call 817-310-9400.
