For sale in our Chicago showroom is this beautiful "Blue Dream" 1957 Ford Thunderbird. With a nice Azure Blue paint laid over the body and removable hard top of this classic, one can’t help but be drawn back to a simpler time.
Elvis was the most controversial musician, 12 Angry Men was in theaters with Old Yeller, and the cost of a gallon of gas was a whopping twenty-four cents. The 312 cubic inch V8 cradled snugly under hood was the top of the line engine offered, and did a fine job of making this sporty roadster scoot all over town. Backing up the Thunderbirds V8 is a healthy 2-speed automatic that shifts as smooth as when it was new.
While the cool blue covering this ’57 T-bird isn’t the original color, it is very fitting on this classic Ford. The slick two-tone “Dresden Blue” interior matches very well, and adds to the very classic look on this beautiful ‘bird. This feisty Ford was treated to some serious restoration work around 2006, including the fresh paint, a brake overhaul, suspension work, a new gas tank, starter, motor mounts, wiring harnesses, the list goes on and on! What you are looking at is a new-new 1957 Ford Thunderbird!
This sporty cruiser will paint a perfect smile on your face every time you fire up that Thunderbird V8. Options include: Power Seats, Wipers, Hub Caps, Vinyl Interior, Manual Top and Removable Hard Top, and While Wall Tires. For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this beautiful 1956 Ford Thunderbird. The first generation of the Thunderbird was Ford’s answer to Chevrolet’s Corvette. The Tbird story started in 1953 on paper and Ford showed the first prototype in early 1954. Even though it was a rapid development Ford did a fantastic job and today the early Thunderbirds are on top of the list of almost every car enthusiast in the world. This particular 1956 Ford Thunderbird is a very nice driver. Lady owned for the past 10 years and she took good care of her “Baby Bird” Olivia. For many people the cars from the 50’s are considered a piece of art. It is a pleasure to just walk around this turquoise Thunderbird and see the many details and the great craftmanship. After the walk around, you want to get in the drivers seat and take off in it. This Tbird is powered by its 292ci V8 engine and shifted by an automatic transmission. You will have a good time driving this one around town. A major plus is that the car comes with both tops, the port hole hardtop and a soft top. To put an additional soft top in an early Thunderbird would cost you between $4000 and $5000. Folks, this one has it already folded up behind the bench seat. The continental kit and the white wall tires are a perfect fit to the Bird. This is a great buy if you are not looking to spent a fortune on one. This is a great driver that is ready for new adventures. Let it ride. To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1956 Ford Thunderbird, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Now up for sale in our Houston showroom is a classy blue metallic 1957 Ford Thunderbird. The Ford Thunderbird began life in February 1953 in direct response to Chevrolet's new sports car, the Corvette, which was publicly unveiled in prototype form just a month before. Under rapid development, the Thunderbird went from idea to prototype in about a year, being unveiled to the public at the Detroit Auto Show on February 20, 1954. Like the Corvette, the Thunderbird had a two-seat coupe/convertible layout. Production of the Thunderbird began later in 1954 on September 9 with the car beginning sales as a 1955 model on October 22, 1954. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time, such as single, circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tailfins, the Thunderbird was sleeker and more athletic in shape, and had features like a faux hood scoop and a 140-mph speedometer hinting a higher performance nature that other Fords didn't possess. This Thunderbird has undergone a partial restoration, and is in very good driver-quality condition. The list of mechanicals that have been modified are: The 312 CID Ford engine was swapped out in 1974 with a 350 CID Chevrolet V8 engine to provide a little more get up and go for this classy chassis. It is paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission that was also added in 1974. The car has 2 known owners and was restored back in 1998 by the latest owner to preserve this piece if history. The exterior is in good condition and would get some heads turning driving down the road. This car has just the one hard top but is in nice condition and will keep you out of that wet weather. The interior of the car is in good original condition with a few small additions such as the engine turned aluminum dash to improve the appearance. The new cassette player hidden in the glove box with the Pioneer speaker behind the seat will make the drive much nicer while listening to your favorite songs. Some additional features include power steering, power windows, white walls, Cassette, AM/FM radio, and power seats. All in all, this adds up to a clean light blue bird that really is a joy to drive. It is hard to not look good driving a Thunderbird, especially when it is a T-Bird that looks this good. Call us today about this sweet little bit of nostalgia! For sale in our Saint Louis Showroom is this first generation Ford Thunderbird. The Ford Thunderbird began life in February 1953 in direct response to Chevrolet's new sports car, the Corvette. Production of the Thunderbird began later on in 1954 on September 9 with the car beginning sales as a 1955 model on October 22, 1954 and sold exceptionally well in its first year; outselling theCorvette by more than 23-to-one for 1955 with 16,155 Thunderbirds sold against 700 Corvettes. With the Thunderbird considered a success, a few changes were made to the car for 1956. The most notable change was moving the spare tire to a continental-style rear bumper in order to make more storage room in the trunk and a new 12 volt electrical system. You'll be happy to hear that this low (actual) mileage classic Thunderbird has been held by the same family for nearly three decades and was stored for most of that time. The interior and body was repainted in 2016, but these are still the original panels, engine, and interior components. Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a beautiful 1958 Ford Thunderbird. '58 was a new body style for the Thunderbird and they really changed things up. The '58 Thunderbirds as well as the '58 Lincolns were Ford's first unibody construction vehicles, which was cutting edge at the time. In addition to changing the construction, Ford also made the Thunderbird quite a bit larger than the previous generation to accommodate the addition of back seats. Though some T-Bird enthusiasts were disappointed to see them ditch the two seat layout, the market seemed to like it. Ford sold two times as many Thunderbirds in 1958 as the previous year. The convertibles, however, were a bit rare in '58, with only 2,134 being built. This particular convertible is just the right colors. It features a bright red exterior, a white convertible top, and matching red and white interior. The convertible top is power actuated and folds discretely into the rear deck. Under the hood of this beauty is a 352 CID V8 which has plenty of power to propel this rolling piece of art down the highway. Whether you're a Thunderbird enthusiast, or just want a stylish convertible to cruise around town, this '58 is a great choice. You can see this 1958 Ford Thunderbird in greater detail in our Dallas showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 817-310-9400 or firstname.lastname@example.org with inquiries.

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale. Ford had a car that combined the flair of a sports car and the comfort of a boulevard cruiser, the Thunderbird. However, a slight sales decline in 1956 sent Ford Designers back to their drawing boards. The labor resulted in the consummate two-seat Thunderbird. Buyers noticed the restyled grill, stretched rear sheet metal, fresh bumper designs and improved seating the 1957 version offered. Other less visible improvements included larger openings for improved cooling, revised spring rates, larger brakes, stiffer chassis crossmembers, a 12-volt electrical system and new 14-inch wheels. These evolutionary steps enabled a more stable and capable handling Thunderbird and its spare tire back in the trunk. Under the hood of this beauty is a 312 CID V8 and backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. The exterior in the original Colonial White. The interior is a combination of black and white vinyl. Options include: Manual Convertible Soft Top, AM/FM Radio, Power Windows, Bias Ply Tires, Wire Wheels, Vinyl Interior, Power Brakes, Wide White Walls and Telescopic Wheel. The powerplant has been dressed up to give it a look that truly makes it shine like a diamond. During this endeavor, in addition to the entire body, all the mechanics were restored making it a nearly new car once again. It was also fitted with an aluminum radiator and electric fuel pump to keep it going smoother and longer than any other car of this era. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this 1929 Ford Coupe. Do you want to be ordinary or extraordinary? If your answer is extraordinary, then you have chosen the right “Hot Rod.” When you think of a “Hot Rod” or “Muscle Car”, the first cars that come to mind are Camaro’s, Mustang’s, Cuda’s, etc. This is none of the above and yet, it’s still one super cool “Hot Rod.” It is a tie for first place when it comes to what catches your attention initially, but one thing is for certain and two things are for sure, your answer will either be the bright yellow paint, or the sound of the mean 383 stroker motor. Whichever one you choose, you won’t be wrong. The yellow paint is bright enough to make you feel like your looking at the sun, which is offset by a beautiful strategically placed flat back hood and black capped roof. The real show stopper of the exterior is the exposed chromed-out engine displaying chrome long tube headers. Just when you thought you thought you had the color combination figured out, another twist appears. Take a look inside and you will find burgundy bucket seats. Talk about extraordinary! Don’t worry about being squished in this coupe either, there’s plenty of room to fit four comfortably. Three’s company, four is a crowd, so load up your friends and family and enjoy cruising this “Sweet” ride. The 350 turbo automatic transmission will allow you to keep a hand free at all times to wave at the onlookers as they acknowledge your ‘29 Ford Coupe. Options include AM/FM Radio, Hub Caps, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. It’s nice to be part of the in-crowd, but it is even better when you are the cause of the crowd. The Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis is tremendously proud to offer this amazingly restored and well-kept 1934 Ford Tudor. In succession of the Model A, between 1932 and 1934 Ford produced three new cars; Model B, Model 18, and Model 40. The noticeable changes of the 1934 design included a flatter grille with a wider surround and fewer bars, straight hood louvers, two handles on each side of the hood, smaller head lights and cowl lamps, and a reworked logo. This 1934 Ford Model 40 has been reworked to be powered by a RAM Jet 350, which is a Chevy Small-Block V8 (Cubic Inch Displacement 350) that has a maximum RPM of 5200. Pushing is the engine is a General Motors 4L60-E (TH700R4). Other modern driving features includes: Power Brakes, Posi Traction, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, and Tilt Wheel. The engine, transmission, and wiring were all installed in 2008. Smooth driving performance aside, what makes you motivated to buy this 1934 Ford Model 40 is because it looks better than everything else on the road. The condition of the exterior black paint job from 2008 is in excellent condition and doesn't even need to be waxed to shine as it does. This car has been kept in clean and dry conditions since she was restored. The accenting chrome trim and wheels only make the whole ride the reason why people stop and turns their heads to watch her strut her stuff. Running across the front of the Tudor are the classic white, yellow, red, and orange flames. If that makes you hot, then cool off on the inside where there is working A/C, comfortable leather seats, carpeted floor, and a dark trim that matches the exterior. If you are looking for an investment vehicle, a show car, something for your collection, or something just to drive around, this is a ride that you want to inquire more about.
