For sale in our Chicago showroom is this sweet 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. The year 1963 was a very interesting time for the Galaxie. There were multiple different body style options including a 4-door, 2-door, and 2-door fastback; five different transmission options; as well as eight engine options available. This 2-door Galaxie is equipped with the 390 cubic-inch Ford big block that has a very nice, deep rumble. The transmission, a 3-speed automatic ensures a smooth shift each time you press the gas. This combination is solid and has proved itself for what is said to be the original 46,000 miles.

The bright exterior is finished in Rangoon Red and is paired with a nice, complimenting white roof. When you sit down in the driver’s seat you will be comfortably greeted by a very nice Sandshell Beige vinyl interior. Sitting inside this car makes you think about what it would’ve been like, and in some cases, takes you back how it was to cruise back when this car was new in 1963. When the nicely optioned center-console shifter gets put into drive the car gets off to a smooth start and simply floats down the road. When you get to your destination and park the car, you’re going to have to look back and admire.

If a classic, original styled ‘60s cruiser is what you’re looking for, then look no more because this is it. 1963 Ford Fairlane Drag Wagon

1963 Ford Fairlane Drag Wagon

Engine: 427 CID V8 425HP
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 67,561 ( undocumented )

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this stunning 1963 Ford Fairlane Drag Wagon. The name is derived from Henry Ford's estate, Fair Lane, near Dearborn, Michigan. This 1963 Ford Fairlane wagon has been a drag racer in the Pacific Northwest for many years.it has extensive race history with Oregon Ford Dealers association,a very historic car that spent a lot of its life owned by Ford motor company and was on Ford’s race team it was restored a couple years ago with all decals placed in original location. After it's time with Ford, it was later sold to Mooneyes Equipment, raced in Oregon, California, and even Japan! We have seen many Thunderbolt Tributes, but never one based on a wagon, and this one is even better because it has real history. It has a modernized engine, yet the exterior retains older paint and graphics. Fantastic! The car sits right and the staggered steel wheels with long Moroso studs, which cannot be beat. The rear suspension and wide 11.5" Mickeys are nicely tucked underneath and don’t really hint at their increased capability. The red interior offers a nice contrast and doesn’t dig the Sun sweep tachometer on the dash and the roll-bar that extends back into the cargo area. The stock bench and steering wheel look great! The engine is the best part of the car and sets it apart from the small blocks we typically seen in wannabe T-bolts and Fairlane drivers. It combines a 427 block with twin 600 CFM carbs under a proper looking airbox and T-bolt headlight duct system. The transmission is a built C6. If you’re ready to stand out in a crowd or simply haul “butt” away from them, this is the vehicle for you! 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint

1963 Ford Falcon Sprint

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 300 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is eagerly offering this stunning 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint for sale right now in our Tennessee showroom. This little hardtop presents itself very nicely in its original ‘Ming Green’ paintjob. However, this is one of those paintjobs that will start a debate at your local car show because in certain lights it looks more turquoise, or a mix between green and blue. The vinyl interior of this hot ride matches the exterior and is well-preserved in appearance. Much of the work done to this car recently has vastly improved how it drives. The current owner has shoveled in excess of $40,000 into a professional overhaul of this car and some of the highlights include Edelbrock Aluminum Heads, an Edelbrock Performer 4-barrel Carburetor with Electric Choke, SSBC Disc Brakes, a Northern Muscle Car Aluminum Radiator and a Mallory Electric Ignition. There is plenty more about this build we need to tell you, too! Powering this peppy Ford is a 302 CID V8 that was rebuilt in 2015 tied to a Bowler Performance 4R70W Transmission with overdrive. This Falcon for sale will keep you comfortable with fully functional Custom Vintage Air and it sounds the part too with a custom exhaust and dual chrome tips. This is a car that you will find hard to pass up once you see it and for the money it will be difficult to find a better example. This 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint for sale right now in our Nashville location is ready for its next owner and it has never looked better! 1964 Ford F100

1964 Ford F100

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 2,834 ( since rebuilt )

You are going to have to look far and wide to find a classic pickup that is in better shape inside and out than this 1964 Ford F-100! No expense was spared when the restoration of this pickup was performed! Starting in July of 2013 and coming to completion during August of the following year this frame off restoration left no bolt or nut untouched. No matter what angle you approach this beauty from the professionally sprayed indigo blue paint job is sure to knock your socks off. When you look closer at the detail that was given to the body work and custom paint you’ll notice very nice touches such as subtle red, white and blue pinstriping that dresses both the driver’s and passenger’s sides. Don’t let the numerous car show awards fool you into thinking this pickup is a trailered show queen, in fact it is far from it. When the owners of this fine piece of machinery started out on the build they wanted something they could take to car shows and be very proud of but also take on a road trip and never have to worry about reliability. Raising the hood reveals a very well dressed 302 cubic inch crate engine that punches out an advertised 350 horsepower! Helping produce all that power while keeping with the reliability of the powertrain is the MSD ignition, Quick fuel carburetor and also a Speedway aluminum radiator. When mated to the 3-speed automatic transmission with overdrive it makes for a very potent package that will tear up the streets but also have tame rpm’s at highway speeds. If you are lucky enough to sit behind the steering wheel of this street machine your rear end will be treated to the comfort of the like new luxurious brown leather seats that have matching custom door panels. Looking back at the driver is a set of new vintage style gauges that help monitor all of the vitals of this machine. A huge part that helps this pickup steer and ride better than most others on the road today is the Mustang II front suspension complete with rack and pinion. The stopping power is aided by a set of front disc brakes. Rounding out the great custom but classic looks of the pickup is the set of 18” American Racing wheels at each corner of the pickup that are wrapped in 235/55R18 radial tires. You can view this 1964 Ford F-100 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL

1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL

Engine: 352 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 69,559 ( actual )

This 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL is for sale ion our Louisville KY showroom. The Galaxie was Ford’s answer to GM’s extremely popular Impala. The Galaxie 500 nameplate was added to the 59 Fairlane as a top of the line trim level in 1959. In 1960 it became its own car with its own style and engine packages. This 62 is a great example of what you would expect in 1962. The white paint is in excellent condition with the simple flick of a switch activating the power top. With the top out of the way an extremely nice stock black vinyl interior is easily exposed. With the buckets eats upfront separated by a console which houses the shifter a rare option for 62. The white paint is clean and shows extremely well with the chrome fender skirts complimenting that old school look. The trim ties in with those big chrome bumpers while black accents bring it all together. Open that long hood and one of the cleanest engine compartments I have seen is glaring back at you. The FE series 352 gets the car going down the road nicely with plenty of low end grunt to get you going. Drop that shifter into drive and let the cruise-o-matic do the rest. Shifting through all 3 gears nicely this car is meant to hit the road and cruise. If you have been wanting to get a classic 60’s era drop top that runs as good as it looks this 62 Galaxie is the one for you. Options on this 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible include, AM Radio, Power Steering, Power Top, Hubcaps, and Radial Tires. 1964 Ford Fairlane

1964 Ford Fairlane

Engine: 427 CID V8 Engine
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 6,600 ( undocumented )

Philadelphia Gateway Classic Cars welcomes a new Fairlane to the fold. This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 equipped with a 1965 427 C.I. Factory Crate Motor and 4 speed manual transmission is a BAD car. The Fairlane name stood for a certain level of luxury and comfort. Not in this case though. This Fairlane 500 is inspired by it’s racing cousin the THUNDERBOLT. The car was redone in 2006. The body was completely stripped and returned to what is believed to be the factory color. No panels needed to be replaced. It is done in a deep Maroon. Of course, the Thunderbolt teardrop hood scoop has been added. When you open the hood on this car you are overwhelmed by engine. The Thunderbolt style grille fed induction system makes it clear that this car is built to run. Large tube thunderbolt reproduction headers, MSD electronic ignition, high output starter and an aluminum water pump are some of the performance modifications done to this Fairlane. The rear is a 9 inch Ford unit with 3:50 gears. Inside the car is the stock interior in excellent condition. There is a 60’s style column tachometer and a tri gauge setup under the dash to monitor the vitals. The race car feel means no frills on this car it is radio delete and a bench with floor shifter. The look, the feel, the sound it is all there but the best is yet to come. Turn the key and be prepared to be impressed. This car SCREAMS. This 1964 Fairlane grinds the asphalt. There is no doubt that the 427 CI Big Block Ford is a force to be reckoned with. Smooth acceleration and firm shifts send the message that there is allot more left under the hood to be released when the time is right. To view this 1964 Ford Fairlane. in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. 1960 Ford Thunderbird

1960 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 352 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 345 ( since rebuilt )

This 1960 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1960 Thunderbird was the last year for what is now known as the Square birds. A rather distinctly different car than original baby birds as the second-generation cars are much bigger and can seat 4 adults comfortably. This beautiful red example has gone through a pain staking restoration with the finished Bird being one the best I have seen. Lugged out of a junk yard 15 years ago this was a solid bird to begin with. The red paint was laid down nice and smooth with the result looking like glass. The trim and chrome on the car are exceptionally clean and remind you why these birds are classic late 50’s. Those classic wire knock offs are the perfect fit on this 60 Bird. Under the hood you will find a very clean engine bay that is as clean as they come. The period corrects 352 with its true to form yellow valve covers really putting their exclamation point under the hood. The Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed is a smooth shifting transmission that handles all the power of the 352 with ease. Inside this plush 4-seater a fresh interior has been done in red and white vinyl making for a great contrast. The middle console that flows into the back separating the buckets is one of the coolest features to come in a factory car. If you have been wanting to get yourself into a square bird that is flashy and luxurious this one must be on your list. Options on this 1960 Bird include, AM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior and Knock Off Wheels wrapped in Bias PLY White Wall Tires.
