For sale in our Chicago showroom is a 1968 Cadillac Deville convertible. This fine example of a true classic land yacht convertible is in great shape. The Cadillac has been restored to show quality and is ready for its next adventure. The year was 1968 and while Apollo 8 was orbiting the moon and Steppenwolf's "Born to be wild" was riding the radio waves, this Cadillac was rolling off the showroom floor. Grab the keys, pop open the door, and step back into history. The exterior is painted in a sky blue metallic while the interior is comprised of navy blue leather. Of course, this luxury-cruiser is fully loaded optioned with: power seats, automatic convertible top, AC, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, jack, spare tire, power windows, tilt wheel, and white wall radial tires.

Looking under the mile-long hood you’ll find a well detailed 472 CID V8 big block engine backed by an automatic 3 spd transmission TH400 transmission. The massive 7.7L V8 produces 375 HP which helps this Deville power down the long highway. In 1968 the grille had an insert with finer mesh and step down outer section which held the rectangular parking lights just a little higher than before. Rear end styling was modestly altered with the deck lid having more of a rake. The most obvious change was an 8.5-inch-longer hood designed to accommodate recessed windshield wiper-washers, which now came with three speeds standard. The opportunity presents itself to purchase a piece of American history that will only go up in value while allowing you to drive and enjoy your investment. Try that with your stock portfolio. 1971 Cadillac Eldorado

1971 Cadillac Eldorado

Engine: 500 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 72,790 ( actual )

For sale in our Nashville Tennessee showroom is a luxury land yacht 1971 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe. This Eldorado for sale is if it is comfortable. That should speak for itself, with lines that go from bumper to bumper and an overall length of 221 inches this car can be seen from space. As you are cruising down the interstate you will have all the power in front of you, with a 500-cubic inch V8 under the hood and the luxury of a front wheel drive. You can rely on your 3-automatic transmission that makes this front wheel drive cruiser roll smoothly down the road. Lean back in the Leather Plush Pewter interior and let anyone stare because they will. These big boat cars are becoming harder to find than they used to be, what I am seeing now is a simple carburetor change and these 500Cid V8’s come alive! This is because in the 70’s auto manufactures where trying to make these cars fuel efficient by starving them for fuel, getting on a average of 11.9 MPG on the iinterstate I guess this was good when fuel was penny’s per gallon. Well now the fuel cost more and the quality of the fuel is better as well. Why not let this big V8 live a bit. With a low 2300 miles on the fresh build this Caddy for sale has a lot of life left in it. As this has been owned by the current owner for 41 years I can say that it has been very well taken car of, all you have do is look at that beautiful vinyl top and deep pewter fire mist paint and you will just fall right into it. Options on this 1971 Cadillac Eldorado for sale include: AC, AM/FM Radio, Cruise control, Power seats, Seat belts, Radial white wall tires that are wrapping steel wheels caped with chrome hub caps, Tilt wheel, Telescopic wheel as well. Leather interior, Power steering and good time. A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. For more information on this 1971 Cadillac Eldorado for sale please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com.

Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 46,619 ( undocumented )

Up for sale in the Detroit showroom is this cool 1974 Cadillac Coupe deVille! This fine cruiser has been meticulously maintained, with only 46,620 miles. The 1971-1978 Cadillac's were the epitome of the "land yachts" of the 1970's, with a wheelbase of 130 inches, an overall length of 230.7 inches, and featuring the biggest hood to ever be put on a car, supposedly weighing in at approximately 200 pounds! The hood is almost long enough to land a Boeing 747! Underneath that huge hood is the monstrous 472 CID V8 that the Deville was known for and paired to an automatic transmission this Cadillac is a very pleasure-able car to drive. Some recent work has been done to bring this beautiful cruiser back to the condition that it currently sits having the radiator re-cored, the battery replaced, and the few small oil leaks were taken care of. On the exterior the Cadillac was given a professional detail to the entire car that really brought out the shine of the gorgeous Cranberry Firemist metallic finish which looks great with the black vinyl top. Options on this luxury cruiser include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio, power antenna, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, telescopic/tilt wheel, seat belts, cloth interior, and radial tires. 1963 Cadillac Series 62

1963 Cadillac Series 62

Engine: 390 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 5,000 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this beautiful 1963 Cadillac Series 62. This one is powered by the 390 CID V8 engine. In overall terms, 1963 Cadillac was essentially the same as last year. Exterior changes imparted a bolder and longer look. Hoods and deck lids were redesigned. The front fenders projected 4.625" further forward than for 1962 while the tailfins were trimmed down somewhat to provide a lower profile. Body side sculpturing was eliminated. The slightly V-shaped radiator grille was taller and now incorporated outer extensions that swept below the flush-fender dual headlamps. Smaller circular front parking lamps were mounted in those extensions. A total of 143 options including bucket seats with wool, leather or nylon upholstery fabrics and wood veneer facings on dash, doors and seatbacks, set an all-time record for interior appointment choices. Standard equipment was the same as the previous year. Convertibles were equipped with additional features. The engine was entirely changed, though the displacement and output remained the same, 390 cu in (6.4 l) and 325 hp (242 kW). This car features AC, AM/FM radio, auto top, spare tire, hub caps, power brakes and steering, jack, power seats and windows, seat belts, vinyl interior and white walls. In October of 2010 the drums were converted to discs, engine rebuilt, new muffler and new radiator. April 2012 it was reupholstered. June 2012 it got new top latches. July 2013 it got a new fuel tank and a new and more modern radio (original still available). In Feb of 2017 a new carb was installed and in March of 2017 a new convertible top window was added. 1972 Cadillac Eldorado

1972 Cadillac Eldorado

Engine: 500 CID 8.2L V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 74,379 ( actual )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an original 1972 Cadillac Eldorado. The odometer reads 74,379, which are original to this super clean single-family owned 1972 Cadillac. Options for this 1972 Cadillac Eldorado include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, and White Wall Radial Tires. The Eldorado was a personal luxury car that was produced by Cadillac from the model years 1953 to 2002. During its 50 year production that spanned 10 generations, its competitors ranged from the Lincoln Mark series to the Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe. The name Eldorado is the combination of two Spanish words which translate to "the golden one." The seventh generation of the Eldorado ran from 1971 to 1978. In 1971 the Eldorado underwent many changes and upgrades. The overall length of the car grew 2 inches, but the wheel base grew 6 inches. Fender skirts returned and the rear quarter windows were removed. In their place were fixed "opera" styled windows that were intended to mask the widened C-pillar. Powering this big girl down the road is the numbers matching 8.2L 500 cubic inch monster V8 engine. The numbers matching 3 speed automatic transmission transfers the power to the front axle flawlessly. This Eldorado has received a recent spray of the original red metallic paint, as well as a new white vinyl roof. The original burgandy leather interior shows little wear, and matches the exterior color combination perfectly. This 72' Eldorado is sure to turn heads, whether it's on a Sunday cruise to church or to a car show across town. 1964 Cadillac Sedan Deville

1964 Cadillac Sedan Deville

Engine: 429 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 69,535 ( undocumented )

For Sale in our Dallas/Ft.Worth showroom is a smooth riding 1964 Cadillac Sedan Deville. If you enjoy a long comfortable cruise and want to feel as if you’re gliding on air while doing so, then this is the vehicle for you. In 1964, it was time for another facelift to the De Ville series, this was a very minor one though. They decided to have a bi-angular grille that formed a V-Shape along both its vertical and horizontal planes. The main horizontal grille bar, now carried itself around the body sides as well. Cadillac continued to rock the classic “tailfins” which so many have become accustomed too, with a new fine-blade design carrying on the tradition. The major change to this year model came in its engine compartment, now sporting a hefty 8-Cyl 429 CID motor, creating approximately 340 HP. Other stand out features to this vehicle include original interior and original paint. The paint is in relatively good shape, except for a few small patina spots scattered randomly without. The interior to this vehicle is gorgeous, including the dash and headliner, amazingly the interior shows very minimal wear, especially considering its age. Also, another cool feature is the addition of Ziebart, which was a brand-new anti-rusting technology, back when this vehicle was released. The owner has recently installed a new fuel-pump and radiator, less than a 100 miles on it since being completed. Finally, when cruising around in this jolly-big-body you’ll need a way to keep cool. Don’t worry, as this vehicle comes with an after market A/C unit installed already. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1973 Cadillac Eldorado Pace Car Replica

1973 Cadillac Eldorado Pace Car Replica

Engine: 500 CID
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 91,936 ( actual )

This meticulously maintained and original Colorado car had a complete engine rebuild just over 1,400 miles ago and the transmission rebuilt just under 10,000 miles ago! Only 566 were built in 1973. 1973 was the 5th year that Cadillac was chosen as pace car through out the years. And this was the second time ever that a front-wheel drive car was leading the pack of race cars down the start lap, the first front-wheel drive pace car was a Cord some time in the 30's. And this was up to 1973 the most powerful pace car ever! The sheer weight of the Eldorado convertible forced the Cadillac engineers to take some measures to allow the car to reach the high speeds needed. The 8.2 liter 500 CID engine was tweaked. The smog control equipment and A/C had been removed. A new crank was installed as was specially forged pistons and a dual exhaust system, even the bumpers were replaced with polished aluminum instead of steel. And there were actually a second spare car supplied by the factory, just incase that something happened to the first. Both pace cars also had hood pins to secure the hood/bonnet as well as the flag pole mounts in the rear. Interestingly enough both cars survived the ordeal and one was actually converted back to a "normal" Eldorado convertible before being sold to the public. The other of the two actual pace cars was used for numerous testing purposes at the GM/Cadillac plant, for instance for testing rims and tires for the new generation of Chevrolet Corvette that was introduced in 1984. That car is said to have been scrapped and buried somewhere at a test facilities.. Besides the two actual pace cars and the 53 track convertibles, there were a number of coupe devilles, two sedan devilles and even a Fleetwood used during the race week. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.

1976 Cadillac Eldorado

1976 Cadillac Eldorado

Engine: 500 CID V8
Transmission: Three Speed Automatic
Mileage: 39,704 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this beautiful 1976 Cadillac Eldorado coupe for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. This was a very active year in the world because the Olympic Games were held in Innsbruck, Austria (winter) and Montreal, Canada (summer), America celebrated her 200th birthday, Jimmy Carter was elected president, and Cadillac announced that the following year, all of their cars would be downsized. If you wanted a real full-sized luxury car with a 500 cubic inch engine (with front wheel drive), seating that resembled the finest sofa of the day, and a trunk big enough to smuggle an entire baseball team into a drive-in movie, 35,184 buyers snapped up these coupes before the model year ended. An additional 14,000 convertibles were also sold that year. This coupe is finished in its original hue of Amberlite Firemist along with a tan half-vinyl top that matches the still soft and oh-so-comfortable leather interior. The chrome and glass still show exceptionally well. This car is from an era in automotive history that we'll never see again. Highly optioned with everything working means this Caddy is ready to go! When you see and experience this car in person, you'll know why Cadillac is "The Standard of the World". Don't miss this opportunity to own a low-mileage example of a magnificent American motorcar. The miles are stated to be original (not confirmed by GCC) and the current owner knows most of the history on the car. Visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com to see 100 plus photos and video of this elegant and classy 1976 Cadillac Eldorado coupe. 1979 Cadillac Seville

1979 Cadillac Seville

Engine: 350ci
Transmission: 4 Speed Auto
Mileage: 40,741 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars proudly presents this 1979 Cadillac Seville for sale in our Atlanta showroom. This 1979 Cadillac Seville is simply gorgeous. The Seville, introduced in May of 1975 as an early 1976 model, was Cadillac's answer to the rising popularity of such European luxury imports as Mercedes-Benz and BMW. GM planners were becoming concerned that the division's once-vaunted image as "The standard of the world" was fading as the 1970s unfolded, especially among the younger generation of car buyers. Seeking to counter Cadillac's heavy slant towards the over-50 age group, the Seville was a bold attempt to both rejuvenate the make's image and win over young import buyers. This Seville has been well kept and maintained over the years. At the end of the day this Seville is sure to bring back memories to flood you mind with the wonderful times that were known as the 70’s. Options for this 1979 Cadillac Seville include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Sun Roof, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior and Chrome Wire Wheels wrapped Radial Tires. To view this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 678-894-4833 or email us at Atlanta@gatewayclassiccars.com.
