For sale in our Chicago showroom is this custom 1946 Chevrolet Pickup. Like Mary Shelleys creature, this Chevy has been pieced together in a way that takes some of the best styling from the past, and paired it up with some of the best technologies of today. The cab of a ’46 3100 2.5 ton truck was carefully inspected for rust to be fitted to a late-model Chevy S-10 frame. A fiberglass bed was sourced, styled after a mid-‘70s pickup, and tied into this beautiful monster. Moving this rolling art is a trio of tried and true parts: Chevy 350 V8, TH-350 3-speed automatic transmission, and a Ford 9” rear end with 3.50 gears.

The Mystic Teal Metallic paint shimmers like a day at the ocean in the sunlight and attracts a plethora of attention at sunset. The body panels almost seem to flip from shades of green to hues of blue depending on your angle. Swing your way inside the cabin and find the comfort of classic styling with the pleasure of modern amenities. Air-conditioning blows a cool chill in the summer, and the heat will keep you toasty in the fall and winter. Going on a long drive? No problem! Pop on cruise control and relax all the way to your destination.

While old and new have been known to clash, they mend fantastically well in this ’46 Chevy truck. Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM/CD, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Radial tires, and Racing Wheels. 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster 2DSD Prostreet

Engine: 388 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 1,500 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville show room is this mean Pro Street 1934 Chevy Coupe. If Darth Vader drove a hot rod, this would be it. Not unlike the death star, this chariot was built with only one goal in mind… total street domination! Sporting a sinister piano black paint job and black leather interior, this car looks every bit as intimidating as it should be. Under the hood you have an explosive 383 stroker small block chevy and 350 turbo transmission at your command, ready to unleash a win at the drop of the hammer. With that being said, you can still put this ride on the highway in its current setup with 3.90 gears in the rear. Sitting on massive tires in the rear and skinnies up front, you won’t be able to hide the purpose of this monster. The fuel cell is tucked away in the trunk. The deck lid is electrically operated just like the doors of the hangers on an Imperial Cruiser. Equipped with power windows, power brakes, power steering, air conditioning, and keyless entry give you every gadget you’d ask for on a modern street bruiser while maintaining the style, looks, and performance you want out of a Pro Street 1934 Chevy Coupe. If you’re ready for blast off or more information you don’t have to travel to a galaxy far far away, just come down to the Nashville showroom or call us at 615-213-1800 you can also email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NSH/780/1948-Chevrolet-Fleetmaster-2DSD-Prostreet

1949 Chevrolet 3600 Pickup

Engine: 235 CID Thriftmaster Inline 6
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 59,999 ( undocumented )

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this 1949 Chevrolet 3600 Pick-Up Truck! This vehicle is part of Chevrolet’s Advance-Design series. Advance-Design was a truck series by Chevrolet, their first major redesign after WWII. It was billed as a larger, stronger, and sleeker design in comparison to the earlier AK Series. First available on Saturday June 28, 1947, these trucks were sold with various minor changes over the years until March 25, 1955, when the Task Force Series trucks replaced the aging Advance-Design model. This Truck although simplistic, really stands out in a crowd and is great vehicle to either take a cruise in or haul around to local car-shows. It’s powered by a rebuilt 235 Thriftmaster engine, which provides around 150 HP and a 4-speed manual transmission. This Truck also has a beautifully laid wooden bed and matching side-rails, which most are sure to compliment. The interior has been re-done and completed approximately 2.5-3 years ago, to a period correct set-up. The dash appears to be left original, with untouched gauges and even an AM only radio. All this sets on a shiny set of Chevrolet hub-caps and comes with a full-size spare on the side. 1949 Chevrolet Suburban

Engine: LT1
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 6,999 ( undocumented )

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1947 Chevrolet Suburban. The story of this Chevy was published in 2008 Rodder’s Digest Magazine and also comes with the vehicle of course. The 4-page article glossed readers with one of the best family hauler built and details this car on every point. This 95 LT1 engine and 4L80E GM four speed automatic transmission began the build. A Heidt front end and dropped spindles brings the business end of the suburban 4 inches closer to the ground and the rear end is assembled from Chassis Engineering supporting a 95 caprice rearend. This Suburban is cornered at all four corners with disk brakes. The US Radiator cools the former police engine and a Powermatic 100-amp alternator is now in place for the electric system. Classic instruments are installed on the dashboard along with Vintage air. You won’t need to get your enjoyment from watching videos in this ride, you will smile with every time you pull out of the driveway! 1947 Chevrolet 3800

1947 Chevrolet 3800

Engine: I-6
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 16,219 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this restored 1947 Chevrolet 3800. This massive 1 ton is a big-time head turner, not only for its size but for the clean frame off restoration that was done as well. The restoration was completed by Dave Chapman @ Hollister RD Motors. The truck features a stout I6 which doesn’t seem like much, but it will push you down the road with ease. The engine has roughly 1,600 miles on it since the rebuild and is paired to a 4-speed manual transmission. The truck also features 4:11 gears, power steering, and of course A/C to keep you cool out on the farm. Moving around the truck you will see it’s sprayed in a sleek butternut yellow. With color matching wheels and a massive 9ft bed, this truck is sure to take home a price at your local car show. This pickup was also known as the Thriftmaster and was the first year of truck series by Chevrolet after WWII. A fun fact is that from 1947-1955 these trucks were the number one in sales in the United States. If that doesn’t scream America I don’t know what does. Some other options include 4-wheel disk brakes, matching spare tire, and custom wood bed. Jumping into the drivers seat you will be comforted by an original styled bench seat that is in great condition. Another neat feature is the manual shifter mounted in the floor. In 1948 Chevrolet decided to change the mounting point up to the column making this what is to be believed as a 1-year option on this truck. 1957 Chevrolet 210

1957 Chevrolet 210

Engine: 327 V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 73,010 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop. This sweet little 210 is powered by a 327 small block Chevy and backed by a manual 4-speed transmission. Power is sent to a stock '57 rear end housing a set of 3.36:1 rear gears allowing for fun around town yet still very highway worthy. The paint is base coat clear coat Quasar Blue Metallic, is roughly 2-3 years old, is still looking great and right at home on this '57 210. Inside you'll find a stock appearing interior with correct 210 seats. Most restorations seem to lean towards Bel Air interiors regardless if they’re Bel Airs or not. The 210 looks just as good and is in an Ivory and Charcoal color scheme that goes quite well with the Quasar Blue Metallic. Miles are showing 73,010 and are believed to be original. Modern upgrades include an aluminum radiator to help dissipate heat and keep the engine running cool. Adding to the aluminum radiator is an electric cooling fan. These electric fans are very good to have during any summer parade or stuck in traffic where the clutch fan isn't spinning fast enough to keep things cool. Brakes are original style drums and are brand new. An Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold helps breath cool air into the heads and an Edelbrock carburetor supplies the fuel. Edelbrock has sure made a name for themselves over the years and this easy to use carburetor solidifies their great reputation. Other notable restoration items include a new windshield, new side glass and rubber gaskets for the doors, windshield and trunk. 1957 Chevy's are as American as Apple Pie and probably one of the most recognizable cars ever built. This one has the looks and that great V8 rumble. Don’t miss out on this classic ’57! For more information on this 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000.
