Engine: 454 CID V8Transmission: TH-350 AutomaticMileage: 50,546 ( undocumented )
For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a metallic black 1980 Chevrolet Corvette. This hot rod Corvette is no longer powered by the stock 350, in its place is a massive 454 CID Big Block V8 engine. The 454 has been bored .060 over and features an Eagle crank and rods, SRP pistons, a hydraulic cam, HRS aluminum heads, double roller timing chain, a Quick Fuel carburetor, aluminum/alloy valve covers and intake, and a Moroso oil pan. An aluminum radiator helps keep this monster running cool on hot summer days. Headers flow from the HRS heads to the full exhaust with the option of electric cutouts for a truly jaw rattling sound. A TH-350 automatic transmission, with a custom gated shifter, transfers the power to the pavement. The metallic black exterior paint shines beautifully and provides a menacing look to this hot rod Corvette. The black leather interior features a custom console that quickly removes for easy access if need be. New carpet and door panels help make this interior new again as well. The odometer reads 50,546, although the actual mileage is unknown, just over 300 miles have been put on the car since the build was complete. Options for this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette include: Leather Interior, Seat Belts, T-Tops, Power Windows, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Radial tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. The late C3 Corvette is not known to be a high horsepower car, so when you pull up to the stop light in this Big Block powered 80’ Corvette you are a bit of a sleeper. You can let you secret be known by throwing a switch and engaging the cutouts, or you can choose to be somewhat of a silent assassin, until the light turns green of course. Engine: 350 CID L48 V8Transmission: TH-350 AutoMileage: 48,153 ( actual )
For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a rarely seen Corvette Yellow 1978 Chevrolet Corvette. I say rarely seen because the Corvette Yellow was the least produced color in 1978 at 1,243 units. Compare that to 6,502 of the Indy Pace Car black and silver combination and over 15,000 of the two-tone silver anniversary color combination and package. The Corvette Yellow paint is mostly original, there were areas repainted as part of a warranty claim shortly after its purchase that was performed in 1978. Being 40 years old, the paint does show some age, but the body lines and panels all look very good. The original dark brown leather has also aged very well, with only minor signs of wear over the years. Powering this 3-owner 1978 Corvette is the original 350 CID L48 engine. A few parts were replaced along the way, but great effort was taken to maintain originality, including having the carburetor sent off to be refurbished instead of buying a new one. Also, the valve covers were not painted, in order to preserve the markings made by the assembly line worker the day it was produced. The TH-350 automatic transmission is original to the car and shifts the power down the line beautifully. The odometer reads 48,153, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Leather Interior, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, T-Tops, Seat Belts, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This is a great example of a surviving 78’ Corvette in a rare color that drives wonderfully. To view this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom. If you are looking for a low mileage classic Corvette than look no further than this 25 Anniversary 1978 Chevrolet Corvette! With 52,452 miles registering on the odometer this thing is just begging to be taken out on the road and enjoyed for many years to come. The Anniversary 'Vettes introduced many styling upgrades that would continue to the end of C3 production, including the deep chin spoiler, the fastback roofline, and ducktail spoiler, and many would consider this the pinnacle of style. The two-tone silver paint on the exterior looks just as great in the shade as it does in the sunlight! If you ask me one of the best features these cars had is the T-tops roof! These seal just as tight as the day they were new to keep any inclement weather out but can also be removed in a jiffy to allow the sunshine in and the wind to blow through your hair as you cruise down the road. Under the hood you’ll find the original 350 cubic inch V8 which is rated at 185 horsepower. Backing the engine is a 3-speed automatic transmission. While sitting behind the seat you are welcomed by the factory dash and gauge cluster sure to transport you back to the days when these cars ruled the road. Silver cloth bucket seats keep you and any passenger comfortable no matter what your driving style. Radial tires and alloy wheels add to the sporty looks of the exterior while keeping to the original great looks of this car. You can view this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette for sale. 1978 was the 25th anniversary of the Corvette. To celebrate, a completely remodeled body was rolled out with a new fastback style. The new wrap-around rear window provided much more space behind the seats but it is not a hatchback car. The special anniversary edition included a unique Charcoal Silver/Silver Metallic two-tone paint job for an extra $399 tacked onto the sticker price. Under the hood you'll find the owner stated original 350 CID V8 which is rated at 185 HP. Backing the engine is a 3 speed automatic transmission. Amazingly, the car is mostly original save for an upgraded stereo system to give your ears more pleasure. The car runs and drives beautifully and really turns heads out on the road. This anniversary Vette is just begging to be driven. Options on this beautiful 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Silver Anniversary include:radial tires, seat belts, aluminum wheels, AM/FM radio, vinyl interior, power brakes, and power steering, and A/C. Engine: L48Transmission: 3-Speed AutomaticMileage: 61,128 ( undocumented )
We are happy to offer for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Saint Louis Showroom this 3-Speed Automatic 1980 Chevrolet Corvette. This is a third generation Corvette, patterned after the Mako Shark II concept car, which was introduced for the 1968 model year and was in production until 1982. C3 coupes featured the first use of T-top removable roof panels. 1981 was the final year this vehicle was built in Saint Louis. The first thing you may think of when you see this classic from Chevrolet is a very unpopular song called 'Little Red Corvette' by a marginally talented musician who sometimes went by the name of 'Prince', but at other times went by a symbol and had a fascination of what happens when you marry the colors red and blue together. As far smooth running, powerful sounding, and easy transition to the higher speeds, this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette with a L48 underneath the hood is everything that you would expect. When we took this vehicle into our inventory everything worked perfectly, except for the interior dome light. Recently replacement work included: New Steering Gear-box, New Interior Door Panels on the Driver and Passenger Door, New Power Window Switches in the Center Console, and New Door/Latch Assemblies in the Driver and Passenger Door. In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For even more information, please call 618-271-3000 or email STL@GatewayClassicCars.com to speak with one of our knowledgeable sales consultants.

Do you want the timeless classic looks of a C3 Corvette but need it to perform and have the reliability of a brand-new street rod? If you answered YES then this 1979 Chevrolet Corvette dressed in a beautiful dark blue paint is well worth your time to consider adding to your collection or just being driven and enjoyed like it’s ment to be. Looking at the exterior of this car it has been meticulously cared for and maintained to retain its original glory. The aftermarket American Racing wheels are the only part that gives a hint to the many years of work that have been spent upgrading and improving on the overall performance and quality of drivability this car has to offer! The current owner has enjoyed this car for the past 18 years and the majority of the work has been performed in the last 8 years so there are not many miles that have been put on the powertrain. Popping the hood on this machine is what reveals the LS3 6.2 Liter GM crate engine that propels this car down any roadway with more than enough power. You could even say there is 20lbs of engine in this 5lb Vette. Many man hours were spent making sure this new generation of power plant was able to fit and perform great in the engine bay but that same train of thought was also put into every inch of this car. Let’s not forget the 5-speed manual Tremec transmission with Hurst conversion components that is linked up to this LS engine we can’t quit talking about. Not only does this transmission allow you to keep up with the power band of the engine but the extra gears allow for lower rpms at highway speeds. When looking through the window of this Vette the only thing that gives away that it is not a stock Oyster colored 1979 interior is the shift pattern next to factory shifter that has 5 speeds. Even The aftermarket gauges that are looking back at the driver give a respectful nod to the cars classic past but also help monitor all of the vitals of the car. Tasked with the job of getting the power to the ground would be the GM 10-bolt rearend that houses a set of 3:55 gears. This car is one that looks great but is very understated when you get a chance to look back through the years of receipts documenting the work and attention to detail that was put forth to keep with the styling of classic Corvettes but bring the car into the performance realm of any of today’s modern muscle cars but for a fraction of the price. You can view this 1979 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

For sale in our Detroit showroom is a 1980 Chevrolet Corvette. One of the last years of the C3 Corvette, which were styled after the Mako Shark II concept car, the 1980 model had a redesigned exterior that included reshaped front and rear bumpers that were more aerodynamic, which reduced drag and increased airflow. 1980 was also the last year that Corvettes were made in St. Louis, before production was moved the Bowling Green plant in mid-1981. Under the hood is a very potent L48 350 cubic-inch V8 that produces roughly 200 horsepower, paired with an automatic transmission. The entire drivetrain only has just under 76,000 original miles on it. The exterior is painted a bright shade of Yellow that really shines in the sunlight, and the Black leather bucket seats complete the classic look! With newer shocks and other suspension parts, this Vette rides smooth, and if you pop the t-tops out on cool day, every minute behind the wheel will be an exhilarating and fun experience! Options on this car include: A/C, AM/FM radio with CD player, t-tops, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, tilt/telescopic wheel, seat belts, leather interior, and raised white-letter radial tires wrapped around aluminum/alloy wheels. Located in our Detroit showroom, this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette can be seen in greater detail, including HD photos and video, at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (313)-982-3100 for more information.

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 2-owner, low mile 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS. Chevrolet brought back the Impala SS nameplate in the mid 90’s, they were out to prove that there was still room for a four-door sedan with some power, and they did it with this! The 1994-1996 generation Impala SS was essentially a high-performance version of the caprice. The Impala SS actually used the Caprice 9C1 police package as its base and was produced with equipment formerly available only to law enforcement. This police package included equipment such as a sport-tuned suspension with reinforced shocks and springs, a high-capacity reverse-flow cooling system (derived from the Corvette's LT1), four-wheel disc brakes, transmission cooler, dual exhaust, a higher-output electrical system, and other minor mechanical alterations. This is a mean looking piece of 90's muscle decked out in maroon paint, grey leather interior, with just under 24,000 original miles. You don't have to sacrifice luxury with this car either, with leather interior and power options galore. The 350 CID LT1 that powers this Impala SS is the original engine and is mated to the original 4L60-E 4-speed automatic transmission. The 10-bolt rear end features a limited slip differential and 3.08 gear ratio. The odometer reads 23,613, which is the original mileage to the car. Options for this 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette, Power Seats, Leather Interior, Tilt Wheel, Keyless Entry, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Locks, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Chevrolet stepped out and did something not everyone did in the 90’s, create a rear sports sedan that driver’s could be proud of. Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Malibu SS convertible. The color combination is absolutely gorgeous with the Sienna Blue exterior and matching blue interior. 1964 was the first year for the first generation of a car that went on to become one of the most loved American classics of all time. The Malibu was basically the top of the line Chevelle and came in a number of body styles. You could get a four-door sedan, two-door sport coupe hardtop, convertible or a two-seat station wagon. This being the convertible, it is the most desirable of all. The interiors were more lavish than the basic cars. In 1964 the top performance option was a 300hp 327 CID V8 engine. This one has a 350 CID V8 with even more power. It is bolted to the 4-speed manual transmission to give you the best driver focused experience. You really feel connected to the car in this one. The Malibu used to be considered an awesome rear drive American muscle car. But if you go to the Chevrolet dealership in 2018 you will see the nameplate on a front drive economy car. Sometimes we questions the moves that GM make. But, don’t go and buy the new and boring one, buy this one! Features include seat belts, 4-speed, Posi-Traction and rally wheels. For even more information on this 1964 Chevrolet Malibu located in our Houston showroom come by and see us or contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the showroom at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com
