Engine: 396 CID V8 SuperchargedTransmission: 700R4Mileage: 7,805 ( undocumented )
Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this “Mean” 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport. This Chevelle SS is the perfect way to “blow the doors off” of the competition at the track, and then casually cruise away laughing as they trailer their cars home. This “monster” is packing a balanced and blueprinted 396 with aluminum Edelbrock Heads, Roller Rockers, MSD Ignition, MSD Ultimate HEI Billet Distributor, 750 Double Pumper Demon Carburetor, Hooker Super Competition 2 1/8 Ceramic Coated Headers, and the crown on top is a Race Vortech Supercharger. This amounts to ground-pounding 719 horsepower and 700 foot pounds of torque. There is more to winning than cubic inches and horsepower. You need to be able to put the horsepower to the pavement and control it. You are able to achieve this with Hotchkiss Rear Suspension and new rear springs. All new front and rear polyurethane suspension bushings, transmission mount, motor-mounts, including front and rear sway bar bushings. Once you get going, stopping is the most important part. However, push this Super Sport to the limit and the front and rear Wilwood 4-piston caliper brakes will bring this wild Chevelle to a halt quickly. Some of the other components to this “Beastly” Chevelle are a TCI 700R4 transmission, which tames the vehicle to be easily driven on the highway. In addition to the TCI trans is a TCI torque converter with a 3400 to 3800 stall. A B&M four speed ratchet shifter insures crisp shifts and fast shifting. All the power is put to the ground by the way of a 12 bolt rear-end, housing an Auburn posi-traction with 3.73 gears. Options include AM/FM Cassette/CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Kill Switch, Radial Tires, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, and Posi Traction. The package is wrapped up in a true “138” code Chevelle which makes this a “Real” Super Sport. Add in the fact that this is a paint code black car and the value on this “Muscle Car” keeps rising. This ‘67 Chevelle is a worthy investment that can easily be returned to stock or kept as is. No matter which way you choose to enjoy this excellent car it will bring you priceless memories. Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this awesome tribute to one of the true American muscle cars, the 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Yenko SC. Bathed in its original shade of Hugger Orange (color code 72), this Yenko Tribute has been assembled to mirror a Chevrolet COPO 9737 option "Yenko Sports Cars" build (of which only 99 were manufactured in 1969); but this one has some very desirable modern enhancements. With only 400 miles on it since the engine build was completed, this beast is powered by a professionally-built and balanced 427 CID big block V8, complete with 840 rectangular port heads, and a Comp Cams roller cam (11-602-13) with roller lifters and rockers. Electronic ignition fires off the go-juice supplied by the brand-new Holley HP Electronic Fuel Injection, so this beast is daily-driver capable, thanks to the tractability provided by its fully-tunable modern fuel injection system. A new 4 core radiator helps keep engine temps in check while coated Hedman headers direct the spent fossils through its custom dual exhaust system, adding to the deep rumble of this cammed big block, and making this Yenko Tribute for sale sound as nasty as it looks. Coupled to a Muncie 4 speed manual with Hurst shifter, this baby gets the power to the ground NOW. Hooking up is no problem, thanks to the beefy 315/35-ZR17 Nitto 555 radials out back. Inside, the factory gauges keep the driver informed during cockpit operations, and a custom stereo system with AM/FM/CD player and Bluetooth send the tunes pumping out through custom kick panel and parcel shelf speakers, which are further enhanced by the trunk-mounted subwoofer. Bucket seats up front and a rear bench seat give you the chance to take the whole family out to car meets, or run a crew to the racetrack. On the way, the Vintage Air A/C keeps the occupants' climate comfortable, and the newly-rebuilt front suspension, complete with coil-over shocks keep all four tires' contact patches square to the pavement. Other additional features and options on this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle for sale include A/C, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, AM/FM/CD Radio with Bluetooth, new Floor Mats, a new Fuel Tank, Performance Radial Tires, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, a new Serpentine Belt accessory drive system, and Vinyl Interior. Engine: 396 Muncie V8Transmission: 4-Speed ManualMileage: 3,119 ( actual )
This beautiful second-generation 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle is now available for purchase at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom. BACKGROUND: The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile which was produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates. The 1969 Chevelle was billed as "America's most popular mid-size car." They showed only minor changes for 1969, led by revised front-end styling. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights (which became a familiar Chevrolet trademark with its concurrent light-duty pickup trucks) with a revised front grille, now cast in ABS plastic, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. Taillight lenses were larger and more vertical, flowing into the quarter panels. (Source: Wikipedia) This particular 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle has been owned by the same person for the past twelve years and it was during that stewardship that this classic enjoyed a frame-off restoration, which was done by Evans Classic Car Restorations in Arnold Missouri. The restoration work included powder coating the frame and suspension, Baer brakes - four-wheel discs, rebuilt 396 engine, Posi-traction rear end, Munci transmission, aluminum radiator, 3" 5.5 exhaust, Doug’s headers, custom seat covers, Dakota digital gauges, Hotchkis sport suspension, and all new glass. There is nothing to dislike about the presentation or dive of this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle. It has a show car quality finish for its interior and exterior and the girl just runs like a champ. Look at the pictures - watch the video - listen to the motor! Am I lying? You still don't believe? Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertible for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This stunning 1995 Camaro Z28 dazzles in Dupont Chrome Illusion paint in Blue Jade while rolling on 19” Ruff Racing rims by Chip Foose wrapped in BF Goodrich G Force tires. Powered by a stock LT-1 with a K&N fuel injection performance kit installed and breathing through a cat back Flowmaster exhaust system, this car runs beautifully and has a deep powerful rumble. This car is all about details – the four wheel disc brakes are powder coated so they won’t rust, and the pads are Kevlar so they don’t produce dust. The rear spoiler is subtly different than the standard American configuration, being sourced from Canada for a slightly more aggressive look. Eibach lowering springs in the back set the body just right over the tires. This Camaro has been meticulously maintained using only parts from a Chevrolet dealership, right down to new door and window rubber installed during the repainting process. The Alpine head unit on the audio system feeds a 4 channel Audison amplifier powering Hertz speakers including dual 10” subwoofers. A Viper alarm system detects anyone in proximity and pages the key fob, important for a convertible parked with the top down. With two owners and a clean AutoCheck report, the odometer indicates 76,802 actual miles. The current owner has had the car for 15 years.
