Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer a super clean 1974 Grand Prix Model J. There is a class of vehicle which is becoming more and more difficult to find: original and unrestored. With the popularity of resto-mods, or complete frame off restorations, there are fewer and fewer survivors out there. This particular 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix is an unrestored car with 54,986 original miles. The engine and trans are original and believed to have never been out of the car. It has the 400 CID V8 and an automatic which run and shift beautifully. The exterior is green which is in surprising great shape for the age of the vehicle. Needless to say, most mid 70s muscle cars have either been wrapped around trees or rusted to pieces. It great to see such a well-preserved piece of Pontiac history. Opening the door is like stepping back in time. The green upholstery is in wonderful condition as is the dash and steering wheel. This was a high line vehicle in the 70s, so it’s loaded with all the goodies: Air Conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette, power steering, power brakes, and even power windows! Whether you’re a Pontiac collector, or just entering the classic car hobby, this cream puff 1974 Grand Prix Model J would be a great addition to any collection. You can see this beauty in greater detail in our Chicago showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 708-444-4488 or chicago@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

1974 Pontiac Grand Prix

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 74,403 ( actual )

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this beautiful 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix. This is one of the best original survivor cars that we have seen here in our South Florida showroom. With less than 75k original miles on the clock the car is in overall great condition. The original paint is in superb condition for being over 44 years old. We checked all body panels with our paint meter and this is the real deal. Thin and good looking. The same goes with the interior. All original and clean from the dash to the rear bench seat. Jump in the buckets seats and start her up. The 400ci V8 engine sounds strong and it is a pleasure to cruise around town in this clean 74 Grand Prix. The 3 speed automatic transmission shifts smooth through all gears. We are always amazed when those original survivor cars roll in our showrooms. Unfortunately this doesn’t happen every day. If you are looking to get an all original mid 70’s Pontiac Grand Prix than this is a must have for you. The chance to find one in comparable condition is pretty slim, especially in this beautiful color combination. The GP is equipped with following options: A/C, Spare Tire, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Steering, Jack, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, White Walls, Rally Wheels and a lot of fun. This is the real deal and must see. Please give us a call to discuss the Pontiac. Let it ride!!! 1974 Pontiac Trans Am

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 19,950 ( actual )

The Houston showroom of Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this beautiful & very original 1974 Pontiac Trans Am. This is a 1 owner car for 43 years until its current owner purchased it & is now putting it on the market for sale. This car is 100% original including all numbers matching, all original body panels, all original glass, & the original wheels & tires. This car is fully documented with original bill of sale, original custom factory order RPO build sheet, original paint, all original customer ordered interior, original spare tire with jack, & with only 19950 original miles. This car is in pristine & excellent condition from bumper to bumper, you just do not come across cars like this every day. This sweet TA is outfitting with the true Pontiac 400 CID 4-barrel carburetor V8 from the factory. The well balanced & healthy V8 is strong throughout the power band. The engine bay is very clean and shows very little signs of wear on even the smallest of components. All of the wiring is very healthy and in excellent condition so electrical issues would not be a bother on this one. The (WX3) custom ordered shaker hood air cleaner is on firmly with all weather stripping in great shape. The barely broken in 400 is paired to a (M20) Muncie 4-speed manual transmission that shifts firmly but smoothly through each gear shifting both up & down through the gears. The transmission is linked to the Posi traction rear end that contains the custom ordered super duty 3.42 gear set in the rear differential. It also features the upgraded custom factory ordered (V01) heavy duty radiator to keep the car cool in all driving conditions. The exterior condition of the car is in excellent condition. The longtime owner has kept the car indoors in his private underground car basement the entire life of the car. It is rumored rain has never met this car. The beautiful Buccaneer Red paint is just as good as it was in 74’. Free from any dings, dents, scratches, or abrasions. The owner tells us that the color of the car deepens as the afternoon sunlight sets in. The bumpers, trim, emblems, light lenses, grill, spoilers, air ducts, & the original glass is in excellent condition. The underside of the front bumper does not even contain any scratches from being bottomed out like almost all long nose cars. It even has the custom factory ordered (75A) orange decal on the hood. It features the SD-455 decal on the hood as well but that is just to keep them guessing :) Stepping down to sit in the car you will first notice the custom ordered (D55) factory red interior that looks like it was just installed yesterday. It really pulls the looks of this car together. It features the factory ordered (U63) upgraded P/B radio with (U57) 8-track player that only a few select TA’s received. Every piece of the interior is in excellent shape from the fire red carpet, custom ordered console & dash, to the black vinyl seats, this one is the one to have. It also has a few nice features such as the old school CompuCruise engine management computer mounted to the center console that also has a VDO water temp gauge, the WORKING CB radio, the WORKING 8-track player, & even an altimeter in case you take off into the clouds from all power that 400 is putting down! This car is a true of a survivor as they come. It is truly a time capsule car that has been meticulously maintained & cared for over the last 40+ years. You need to see this car to appreciate how hard it must have been for the original owner not to drive this beautiful machine every day he had it. This car is represented as a true #2 on the Hagerty quality of excellence scale. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to have a piece of history like this. Under the hood of this sweet ride is a massive 400 CID V8. This engine provides loads of torque and makes these cars very fun to drive. 1975 Pontiac Grandville

1975 Pontiac Grandville

Engine: 455 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 81,050 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars in Scottsdale, Arizona loves Pontiacs and has great pride in offering up this rarely-seen and well-maintained 1975 Pontiac Gran Ville Brougham convertible. The Gran Ville was Pontiac’s top-trim model in their lineup of cars from 1971 through 1974 and “Brougham” was added to the name of the model in 1975. Standard equipment in the final year of production of the 1975 Grand Ville Brougham Convertible included power windows and a carpeted trunk. Other equipment included with this light blue beauty is a tilt wheel, power locks, power brakes, power steering, an AM/FM Radio with 8-track tape player, A/C and cruise control. The interior is adorned with power white leather seats to match the convertible top paired with blue carpeting and accents. The ‘70’s oil crisis meant higher fuel prices, gasoline shortages, long lines at the pumps and reduced production and sales of new, full-sized “gas guzzlers”. Despite this, Pontiac still gave their customers what they wanted and more in their flagship for 1975 with a 400 cubic-inch engine standard. This numbers matching (Gateway Classic Cars can neither confirm or verify the claims of their consigners regarding matching numbers, actual miles, etc.) Gran Ville Brougham, however, has the optional 455 cubic-inch engine matched with a 5-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. Each of the Gran Ville Brougham’s corporate cousins, the Oldsmobile 88 Royale, Buick LeSabre/Centurion, Chevrolet Caprice Classic and Cadillac Eldorado produced more vehicles in 1975 than did Pontiac in their Brougham. You’ll see by viewing Gateway Classic Cars web page dedicated to this 1975 Gran Ville Brougham Convertible, with its over 100 pictures and a video of it in operation, that Pontiac spared no expense in bringing this beautiful car to life. Find it, and many other incredible classic and exotic cars in the Scottsdale, Arizona Showroom by going to gatewayclassiccars.com or call (623)-900-4884 to set up an appointment to see them all.
