1959 Chevrolet Biscayne

1959 Chevrolet Biscayne

Engine: LS1 5.7L V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic w/OD
Mileage: 100 ( since rebuilt )

This 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne Wagon is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Biscayne was the entry level full size model for 1959 having the least interior and exterior trim in its class. This 59 though it may start as a base model it left that life behind. This fully custom 59 has had extensive work done to bring it into the modern age. The car was taken off the frame and put on a rotisserie with the custom paint job applied to the whole car. With the paint done it was time to figure out what kind of drivetrain to out in the one-off custom. The natural choice was an LS1 with their reliable performance it was a shoe in for the job. The 4l60 transmission was the perfect mate for the LS1 giving this wagon the ability to cruise down the highway with ease. With the car painted and the engine and trans ready for duty the last component was getting the right stance. After much consideration the decision was made to not have to decide. A ride-tech air-ride system was installed allowing for any kind of stance you want. Lay it all the way down when you park giving it that unreal look. Set the ride height to your liking and save it in the system so when you hit the key the car jumps up to the that perfect height. With the car back together and ready to move on down the road the last and final thing was interior. Of course, going back stock was out of the question, so a custom leather interior was installed. The low back bucket seats are extremely comfortable with the middle console area allowing for storage. The rear seat has been appointed with the same material with the interior flowing all together. If you have been wanting to get a full custom wagon that can be driven on the daily this one is ideal. Options on this 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne Wagon include, AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Leather Interior, Seat Belts, Ride Control, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1959 Chevrolet Impala

1959 Chevrolet Impala

Engine: 348 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 12,010 ( actual )

What is it that makes a car so valuable? Is it the cars brand? The big motor? Its rarity? Or is it memories we have with it. This beautiful four door ’59 Chevrolet Impala may not be as desirable and valuable compared to the two door convertible Impala, but it was the absolute car to have for the family man. Many families of the day might have gone the station wagon route, but the four door Impala offered beautiful styling for the driver, and enough space to bring to the whole family. For sale is this beautifully appreciated and well maintained 1959 4 door Impala. This beautiful Impala still maintains its original Gothic Gold Paint with just the roof and hood receiving new coats of paint, and its Satin Beige interior. This car has been appreciated by all its owners and has been trailered around to car shows by its current owner for the past 30+ years. Over that span it has collected quite a few awards that belong to the car as it was the winner! This car has nearly all the options available at the time. It is powered by the original 348 connected to the desirable non-shifting TurboGlide transmission. It also has the added option of Turbo-Thrust giving the engine a little more power for large sedan. The car also features the dual exhaust option which complements the cars beautiful rear end styling, and they both have recently been replaced giving it a clean look. The interior has been protected under a clear plastic cover over the entire front and back seats. The car also has the great option of both power steering and brakes. This great car is looking for its next owner to win more awards and to make new memories. 1959 Chevrolet Corvette

1959 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 283 CID V8 270HP 2x4BL
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 60,200 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Dallas-Ft. Worth showroom is this gorgeous tuxedo black 1959 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. This stunning car has a beautiful red interior, a 270 hp 2x4 solid lift 283 with a 4-speed transmission and wide whitewalls with knockoff hubcaps. To the credit of all involved, the 1959 Corvette was “cleaned up” considerably. For one, the chrome “suspenders” were removed from the design, providing Corvette with a more swept back look that was synonymous with speed. For another, it was decided that the faux hood louvers would be eliminated, returning the Corvette to a semblance of its former self. While these features were key identifiers of the 1958 Corvette, there was no question that the elimination of the excessive chrome would reduce weight and help increase performance. Much like the exterior of the Corvette, the interior received minor, but significant updates as well. Both the door handles and the armrests were repositioned and a small-item storage compartment was added beneath the passenger side grab bar. In addition, both the driver and passenger seats were redesigned to offer increased lateral support of their occupants. All tachometers now indicated up to 7,000 rpm and offered redline and safe limit indicators. Sun visors were introduced to the 1959 Corvette as a new option and concave instrument lenses replaced the flat covers of the 1958 Corvette, thereby reducing sun glare (and other reflections) that might cause a driver to become distracted. 1958 Chevrolet Truck

Engine: 383 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 970 ( since rebuilt )

In 1958 Chevrolet built the Apache Pickup, in 2012 the design was re-imagined with styling cues from the Cameo pickups and this truck was born. For sale in our Nashville, TN show room is this show stopping custom that has graced the floor of car shows from coast to coast. There isn’t a piece of sheet metal on this truck that hasn’t been tweaked, massaged, or cut to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Based off of ideas from the notes of and conversations with GM’s Chuck Jordan. To say that this truck is one of a kind is an understatement, this truck is more accurately described as irreplaceable. The subtle touches like custom interior and consoles are to be appreciated, but it’s the major touches that grabbed your attention and don’t let go. Custom wood work completed with exotic African hardwoods, shaved nosed, and decked, completely fabricated and redesigned bed sides, and a beautiful candy burgundy paint job. This truck is beautiful, well thought out, and expertly executed. Under the hood is a crate 383 stroker, with all the high polish and chrome you’d expect for a truck of this caliber. 1960 Chevrolet Impala

1960 Chevrolet Impala

Engine: 283 CID V8
Transmission: 2-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 18,176 ( actual )

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet Impala! This is no ordinary Impala. This is a true survivor car. The 283 CID V8 engine is the original that was put in the car in the factory when it was being put together. Covering only 18,176 miles since it first drove off the showroom floor all those years ago. Amazingly, the paint on this car has the original undercoat on it! Even the original AM radio in the car works as it should. This is part of a two-model-year run for the second generation of the much-loved Impala. The 1959 Chevrolet Impala was redesigned. Sharing bodyshells with lower-end Buicks and Oldsmobiles as well as with Pontiac, part of a GM economy move, the Chevrolet's wheelbase was 1-1/2 inches longer. Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large "teardrop" design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille, The Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Sport Coupes featured a shortened roof line and wrap-over back window. Standard were front and rear armrests, an electric clock, dual sliding sun visors, and crank-operated front vent windows. A contoured hooded instrument panel held deep-set gauges. A six-way power seat was a new option, as was "Speed minder", for the driver to set a needle at a specific speed and a buzzer would sound if the pre-set was exceeded. The 1960 Impala models reinstated three round taillights on each side, and a white band running along the rear fenders. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Transmission: Borg Warner T10, 4 Speed
Mileage: 4,687 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to offer a beautiful 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Fuelie. Introduced in 1957, mechanical fuel injection was offered on Corvettes as a higher horsepower variant of the standard cars. In 1959 this meant your choice of a 250 Horsepower or 290 Horsepower 283 CID V8 with no carburetor to be found. 745 buyers chose the $484.20 option to get the 290 HP Fuelie. This particular example is beautifully optioned in Crown Sapphire with white coves and Turquoise interior. She wears the appropriate hub caps with knock offs wrapped in wide white wall tires. The chrome trim on this particular car is in great shape and makes for a dazzling piece of eye candy. Inside you'll find more chrome and stainless trim to accent the black upholstery. This awesome 1959 Corvette has the Crown Sapphire paint that only 888 Corvette’s left the factory with. Driving enthusiasts will be delighted to see that behind the 290 HP v8 is a proper 4 speed manual transmission. Speaking of the drive train, the engine has been completely rebuilt, and perhaps even more importantly, the fuel injection system has been rebuilt by an expert that specializes in these systems. The car runs beautifully and is a delight to pilot down the road. Being a Fuelie, and therefore quite rare, this is a true collector's piece. This car would be at home in the most avid Corvette collector's garage.
