It’s 1977, Atari is released in North America, the first Star Wars film, Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope premieres on May 25th, and this cool red 1977 Blazer rolls off the assembly line. Since than she has undergone a radical transformation. Starting with: 454 CID crate motor with less than 5,000 miles, rebuild 3-speed auto, rear quarters replaced with fiberglass Chevy dually panels, custom red and black interior, tonneau cover new paint in 2010, new Kenwood deck and sound system. Definitely one of kind truck that is sure to turn heads anywhere you go.

The K5 Blazer was the smallest full size SUV version of the Chevrolet C/K family. Introduced to the Chevrolet line in 1969, the full-size Blazer was replaced in 1995 by the Chevrolet Tahoe. In 1970, GMC introduced its own model of the truck, called the Jimmy, which was discontinued in 1991 and replaced by the GMC Yukon in 1993. Both were based on the short wheelbase trucks and were available with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The Blazer's long wheelbase relative (with an integrated rear body, and doors for 2nd row passengers) is known as the Chevrolet Suburban. The "Jimmy" name was chosen to reflect the GMmy sound in a similar manner in how Jeep was a pronunciation of GP in the competing market.

The K5 Blazer and Jimmy had "full convertible" removable tops until 1975. In 1976, GM introduced a half-cab design that was less prone to leaks and slightly safer in a roll-over. These half cabs are convertible starting at a few inches behind the driver/passenger doors all the way back to the tailgate.

Engine: 194 Inline 6
Transmission: 2 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 11,885 ( undocumented )

For sale is this beautiful 1962 Chevrolet Nova 400 Convertible is in our Louisville showroom. The 1962 Chevy II (Nova) rode a 110-inch wheelbase, compared to 109.5 for the Ford Falcon, at which Chevy's new compact was aimed. The Chevy II one of the fastest new-car development programs in GM history – just 18 months after the designers got the green light, the first production Chevy II rolled off the Willow Run, Michigan, assembly line in August 1961, in time for its September 29 introduction. Unlike the Corvair, the 1962 Chevy II was deliberately never intended to be revolutionary in concept or execution; its mission was to give Chevrolet buyers a simple, back-to-the-basics compact car and it did. This Nova 400 convertible is very clean, but still very simple. A quick peek of the underside will show how clean the car. Under the hood, is the ever reliable inline 6-cylinder engine. The engine is backed by a 2-speed automatic power glide transmission. The interior is basically stock, but some of the vinyl ha been replaced with cloth inserts. The convertible is manual, but so easy to put up and down, that it only takes one person to do it.
