This one year only body style of the Ford Skyliner is truly a sight to behold! Featuring a retractable hard top that will stop any show, these cars have become an icon in American automotive history. The Skyliner name was only given to the retractable hard tops and were only produced for three years from 1957-1959. This gorgeous two-toned teal and white had a complete body off restoration a few years back and has held up very nicely. The 332 cubic inch V8 is healthy and produces plenty of power to move this massive car down the road with ease. As you open up the door and slide inside, you will be amazed at the 50’s style tri-color interior. The bench seat is very comfortable and will make you feel as if you are riding on a couch. Fire up the V8 and on those nice days lay the top back with a flip of a switch! The top will unscrew from the car, lift up, and fold itself nicely into the trunk. The trunk will then close over that and you are left with a sleek looking roadster. Put the Cruise-O-Matic into drive and get ready to get lost on back roads and a different era. The ride is smooth and cushy with the help of the bias ply wide white wall tires. As you roll up to the car show and put the top up be prepared to draw a crowd. The way it folds and unfolds is a show by itself! This car is perfect for someone looking for an excellent cruiser for the weekends or to take to the local car shows. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1959 Ford Skyliner in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this amazing survivor, 1958 Ford Fairlane Skyliner Retractable Hard Top Convertible. This rare little gem would be a great car to drive and enjoy or buckle down and restore. Either way, you’ll be the proud owner of an incredibly unique vehicle that will draw a crowd each time you lower that massive top into the cavernous truck. 1959 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 352 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 85669 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a Flamingo Pink 1959 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. This T-Bird underwent an extensive restoration in the mid 1990’s and still shows very well. The restoration performed was one that honored the originality of the classic Thunderbird. The paint and interior colors remain the same from factory. The exterior is painted in a great looking Flamingo Pink and the interior including the vinyl upholstery is all white. The white vinyl top provides a beautiful look while in use. The paint has aged very well and has plenty of shine left. The brightwork does show a bit of age in some areas, a little pitting can be seen here and there. The vinyl interior also shows minor wear in a few areas, along with some of the plastic pieces, but does present well. All in all, considering the age of the restoration, this is a fine example of a driver quality 59’ Thunderbird Convertible. Under the hood you will find a 352 CID 4BBL V8 engine that is mated to a Cruise-o-Matic 3-spd auto transmission. Both the engine and transmission are believed to be original to the car. According to the VIN, this 352 V8 was rated at 300 horsepower, and the car was built at the Wixon, Michigan plant. Options for this 1959 Ford Thunderbird Convertible include: Air Conditioning (inoperable), AM Radio (inoperable), Vinyl Interior, Automatic Convertible Top, Seat Belts, Power Seats, Power Steering, Wide White Walls Bias Ply Tires, and Wire Wheels. This Flamingo Pink T-Bird is ready for a new home, and new owners to enjoy it at a local show or on a long cruise to nowhere. The exterior of this car is a beautiful green and white combination and shows great. The chrome work is in great condition as well with little to no pitting throughout. This ’58 Fairlane was resprayed about 2 years ago to near the original color combination. The paint work is one worth seeing in person as the photos don’t do it justice. 1958 Ford Thunderbird

1958 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 352 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 50298 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a beautiful 1958 Ford Thunderbird. '58 was a new body style for the Thunderbird and they really changed things up. The '58 Thunderbirds as well as the '58 Lincolns were Ford's first unibody construction vehicles, which was cutting edge at the time. In addition to changing the construction, Ford also made the Thunderbird quite a bit larger than the previous generation to accommodate the addition of back seats. Though some T-Bird enthusiasts were disappointed to see them ditch the two seat layout, the market seemed to like it. Ford sold two times as many Thunderbirds in 1958 as the previous year. The convertibles, however, were a bit rare in '58, with only 2,134 being built. This particular convertible is just the right colors. It features a bright red exterior, a white convertible top, and matching red and white interior. The convertible top is power actuated and folds discretely into the rear deck. Under the hood of this beauty is a 352 CID V8 which has plenty of power to propel this rolling piece of art down the highway. Whether you're a Thunderbird enthusiast, or just want a stylish convertible to cruise around town, this '58 is a great choice. You can see this 1958 Ford Thunderbird in greater detail in our Dallas showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 817-310-9400 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

1959 Ford Fairlane

1959 Ford Fairlane

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 30923 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a beautiful 1959 Ford Fairlane. A mid-year model crossover, the '59 Fords were quite the mixed bag of badging. At various shows you'll often find patrons arguing whether it's a Fairlane, Fairlane 500, Galaxie, or Galaxie 500. Truth be known, they were actually all one in the same. Taking on the bigger and boatier lines of the Thunderbird, the Galaxies truly took on big bodied form, superseding the Ford Fairlanes. Continuing the Fairlane's roll as Ford's full-sized sedan, they had various options in various trims. This particular Fairlane being a two-door, still has a sporty feel, while maintaining the room needed for a family. This particular '59 Ford for sale left the factory with a 200 horsepower 292 Y-block engine. It's since been replaced with the more modern 5.0 liter (302 cubic inch) small block Ford V8. With performance goodies like headers and dual exhaust, this small block Ford rumbles and pushes this 1959 Ford Fairlane for sale along with ease. Backing the small block Ford is an automatic transmission. Built for easy cruising, this 1959 Ford for sale is eager to take a trip down to local show or drive in movie! The exterior is a mild custom, with a two-tone black and silver paint scheme. With fins and chrome like the epitome of any late 50s cruiser, this Fairlane for sale has looks for days! With black painted "steelies" adorned with baby moons and beauty rings, wrapped in Goodyear radial tires, this car has a real 50s hot rod look. The interior is no different, with silver and gray vinyl interior. With benches both front and back, this car has plenty of room for you and a group of your friends and family. It's a real "drive-in special." A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. 1965 Ford Mustang

1965 Ford Mustang

Engine: 298 V6
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 32999 ( undocumented )

We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, Power mirrors etc… This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged "Hi-Po" "K-code" 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT"). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the "GT Equipment Package" and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as "Pony Interior" due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Ford's success at that year's Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14" rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5". Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
