What better cruiser than a slammed 1962 Biscayne wagon!? This wild custom is well built and guaranteed to turn heads whenever it leaves the garage. When the Biscayne came out way back in 1958, it was built to be an affordable family vehicle that would get you from point A to point B. The year this one rolled off the assembly line however was the very first year that Chevrolet brought out the Biscayne wagon. Made with the family man in mind, nothing back in 1962 gave anyone the impression that this would ever be anything more than just that.

This is not your everyday Biscayne wagon though. It has had air ride suspension put underneath it to lay it on the ground and, while at cruising height, provide a more comfortable ride. The pearlescent white paint job on it stands out among the crowd and the flames really set the whole look. Moving into the interior, the reupholstered red interior is very comfortable and has a lot of the classic style that you would expect in a 60’s car. The steering wheel screams sixties with heavy flake and looks like it was stolen off of an old bass boat. Sticking through the transmission tunnel is a Hurst shifter that is attached to the manual four speed and is hooked up behind a 350 cubic inch V8. This car was built to be shown, cruised, and thoroughly enjoyed; if you are looking for a car that you can jump in with your buddies and go to shows and the local cruise night there may not be a better choice than this radical 1962 Biscayne! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1962 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 327 CID V8
Transmission: 4- Speed Manual
Mileage: 175 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this numbers-matching 1962 Chevrolet C-1 Corvette. The final year of the first generation Corvette, this car is adorned with options that would be found on the last of a decade-long body style, including: a wraparound windshield, solid rear axle, and convertible-only body style. The exposed headlamps and trunk lid did not re-appear for many decades. The Corvette line was born in 1953 as a concept entry into the New York Auto Show, known as the Motorama. The response was so great it prompted General Motors to begin limited production for the 1953 model year which launched a legend. This '62 Corvette for sale comes from the same pedigree, and is ready to show and go! Moving this beauty down the road is a classic 327 CID small-block Chevy V8 engine that had a rebuild roughly 500 miles ago. This car runs like a champ and is great for weekend cruises. Rated at 300 horsepower, this Corvette was built for even the most eager thrill seekers. The power plant is coupled with an optional four-speed manual transmission, which offers you the maximum adrenaline rush. Simply put, there is nothing quite like the feeling of motoring along the highways and byways of America in a true American legend. Top down, radio on, exhaust rumbling, and passersby giving you a double-take as you’re hustling her through the twisties. Nestled into a cockpit-inspired cabin with aviation-style instrumentation and wrap around bucket seats, one can truly feel why this car has become the living legend it is. The beige vinyl sport buckets straddle the shifter snugly, begging you to slip in and run through the gears! With an exterior that’s just as sharp as the interior, it’s hard to go wrong with this 1962 Corvette convertible for sale. The classic styling of this C-1 Corvette was a perfect example of the new trend in American styling. The Wineberry Red paint on this C-1 'Vette hugs every sexy curve of this old school cruiser. The raised front and rear fenders makes for a very muscular stance, low to the ground, and very aggressive. The quad headlights and the blacked-out anodized grill completed the concept that had, at that time, taken America by storm. Options on this 1962 Chevy Corvette for sale, include: AM radio, manual convertible top, hard top, seat belts, vinyl interior, and steel wheels with hub caps wrapped in whitewall radial tires. This 1962 C-1 Corvette for sale at our Houston location is an amazing opportunity to own and enjoy one of the true great American sports cars of all time. This car will get up and go. I Happen to believe that the 1962 Corvette is one of the best-looking cars every built however, by today’s standards they really did not handle very well, were not that fast, rode hard and trying to steer one at slow speeds in a parking lot took both hands. So, imagine a 1962 Corvette sitting on a modern frame with up to date suspension and braking, well keep imagining, bolted to the front section of this frame is of course none other than an LS1 5.7 liter Chevrolet V8, backing this modern marvel is GM 6 speed manual transmission to give you full control of the gears. 1970 Chevrolet Nova

1970 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 450 small block
Transmission: TH-350
Mileage: 9,268 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Nova. This Nova is way meaner than one may think. Power for this bad machine comes from 450 cubic inch small block using an aftermarket "Rocket" block. This special block allows for a bit more displacement without sacrificing the blocks integrity. The go fast goodies inside include a full solid roller valve train, Manley connecting rods, 10.5:1 JE Pistons, Quick Fuel carburetor and AFR aluminum high flow cylinder heads to name a few. Power is estimated in the 600 horsepower range. Firing up this amazing power plant will impress any gear head. Many would think that an engine with such power and menacing sound would be a difficult one to drive. Believe it or not, this one is very well mannered. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch and is equipped with 3.00:1 gear set for easy highway use. Since the drivetrain build, the car has covered a modest 1,000 miles and is ready for more use and enjoyment. Slowing down such a machine means that drums won't do the job anymore. In place is a new pair of Wilwood front disc brakes while drums remain out back, but still doing their job. Weld Racing wheels look right at home on this Nova as does the Green on Green paint scheme. Adding a little flair to the exterior in addition to the wheels is a set mild stripes that barley show themselves. You may even call them ghost stripes. Inside is stock Nova with exception of the aftermarket gauges. The original bench seat is quite comfy and looks really good. Someone could very easily swap them out for a pair of buckets if they so desired. For more information on this 1970 Chevrolet Nova, call 618-271-3000 or swing by our St. Louis showroom.
