Freshly rebuilt from the ground up with only 200 miles on it, this stunning GTO is ready to tear up the streets this summer! 1968 was the very first year of the completely transformed second generation GTO. This new generation was featured a semi-fastback roof line, an endura front bumper, and overall a much more curvy body. This one in particular has had a complete restoration that included tearing down the 400 cubic inch V8 and rebuilding it back with a few minor performance upgrades including an aluminum Edelbrock intake for better flow and weight reduction. An electronic ignition was added for better drivability and reliability. The TH400 transmission was also rebuilt at the same time for crisp shifting and to handle the rebuilt engine’s power. The front suspension and steering components were replaced at the same time providing a smooth ride and absolute control on your cruise. As you slide behind the wood grained steering wheel and turn the key, the exhaust lets out a low bellow building the expectation for your drive. Drop it into gear and lean on the throttle; the low bellow turns into a roar and you cannot help, but grin! The sound is perfect for the looks and feel of this classic GTO. If you are looking for a great fair weather cruiser or something you can take down the road to the local car show or drive in, this GTO would be an excellent option! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1968 Pontiac GTO in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1965 Pontiac GTO for sale in our Orlando showroom. This Tri-Power 389 cid V-8 is mated to 4 speed manual transmission. This combination is the one you want and really puts the power to the pavement. This GTO looks like new in beautiful Red with Black vinyl interior. GTO’s are what legends are made of and when the Pontiac GTO was introduced to America in September 1963, it created an entirely new market segment that sparked a reaction throughout the auto industry. Today we know that reaction as the muscle-car era. By 1966, all the domestic automobile manufacturers had their response to the GTO. Some were good, some were hastily slapped together, and others missed the mark altogether. It could be argued that none of them possessed the combination of performance, style, image, and affordability of the GTO. Options include: AM/FM, cassette radio, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, and aluminum wheels. This is the one you want to own. This 1965 Pontiac GTO is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (407)771-2000 or email us at Orlando@GatewayClassicCars.com. Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer this awesome and documented 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. Along with this gorgeous Carousel Red paint and Black Vinyl interior, this is the way Pontiac intended The Judge to be introduced. The first 2,000 Pontiac GTO Judge were usually optioned with a 4 Speed Manual Transmission Gearbox, Saf-T-Trak HD rear end, hood tach, rally gauges and power disc brakes. Originally, this Judge was sold to Kottwitz Motor Co in Great Bend, Kansas and managed to find its way back to the Motor City capital of the world. The Judge was shipped out to the dealership on 02/21/1969 and carried a MSRP of $3,461.74. The Judge retains an original, period correct Pontiac 400cid Ram Air III car that was originally paired to an Automatic Transmission. This Judge is sitting on its original style rally wheels wrapped in poly-glas tires to give it its original 1969 appeal. The black interior is in amazing shape and this Judge is one you can actually put on the road and take to shows at the same time. With the demise of the Pontiac Motor Division, these GTO’s are in high demand. Their values have always been premium on the market and nothing is going to change especially considering the GTO is one of the original Muscle Car’s that started the whole craze. This GTO will be the envy of your gated community and looks like nothing else under the sunlight. For more information on this awesome Judge, call to speak with one of our friendly staff at 313.982.3100 or email us at Detroit@GatewayClassicCars.com. Engine: 455 CID V8Transmission: AutomaticMileage: 71144 ( actual )
For sale in our Chicago showroom is this rare 1971 Pontiac GTO. Powering this Goat is the original 455 4bbl V8 connected to the original TH400 transmission. Being that this is a convertible, Pontiac Historical Society records show this as being one of only 43 to have been manufactured with this engine, transmission, and body style (documents are available.) Bringing that number to an even lower unknown number is the uncommon Castillian Bronze paint paired with Ivory interior, and topped off with a Sandlewood convertible top. The rear gears are a comfortable 3.07:1, making highway cruises a breeze. As with any classic cars, time takes a toll, and the car was repainted to keep it fresh, as well as a new convertible top, but the original color combination was preserved. In order to keep the car as original as possible, a complete history of the car was referenced, including several original copies of the purchases over the years, service records, and any documentation available from the Pontiac Historical Society. This GTO drives like a dream, and looks just as good. Fire up the monster 7.46 liter V8 and bask in the glory of this beautiful drop-top. With just 71,000 original miles, this healthy GTO is ready to take you anywhere you want to go. Options on this ’71 tiger include: AM/FM/Cassette, Automatic Convertible Top, Spare Tires, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Jack, Power Windows, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires with Raised White Letters, and Rally II Wheels. Engine: 455 CID V8Transmission: 4-Speed AutomaticMileage: 14800 ( undocumented )
Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this mean 1971 Pontiac GTO Judge tribute for sale. Between the retro styling and the powerful engine, this car is extremely fun to drive. Under the hood of this beauty is a 455 CID V8 that has been hopped up with a rebuild and fuel injection. This sweet powertrain also includes MSD electronic ignition. This engine pulls much harder than one would expect. With a proper set of tires, this car could even be a mean 1/4 mile racer. Sending the power to the rear end is a Muncie 22 four speed manual transmission that shifts correctly through the gears. Overall, this powertrain is bad*** and really gets the car going! Upon entering the car, the driver will be greeted by a clean black interior. This car does not have very many frills, but it is equipped with heat for those colder drives. This sweet ride does also have power steering and power brakes. Overall, the interior is in good condition with a few minor imperfections. Moving outward, the exterior of the car is is finished in copper colored paint and fitted with Judge trim pieces. The paint and trim are in decent condition with some flaws on the front end. Supporting each corner of the car are rally wheels wrapped in radial tires with decent tread life left. Overall, this car looks pretty good and drives even better! Engine: 400 CIDTransmission: 4-Speed AutoMileage: 54756 ( undocumented )
We have a beautiful Gold hued 1970 Pontiac GTO here in our Milwaukee showroom. This GTO features a Tan interior and is numbers matching. In 1970 the GTO retained the Endura urethane cover around the headlamps and grille. The suspension was upgraded with the addition of a rear anti-roll bar, essentially the same bar as used on the Oldsmobile 442 and Buick Gran Sport. The front anti-roll bar was slightly stiffer. The result was a useful reduction in body lean in turns and a modest reduction of understeer. The base engine was unchanged for 1970, but the low-compression economy engine was deleted and the Ram Air III and Ram Air IV remained available, although the latter was now a special-order option.A new option was Pontiac's 455 HO engine (different from the round-port offerings of the 1971–72 cars), available now that GM had rescinded its earlier ban on intermediates with engines larger than 400. The 455, a long-stroke engine also available in the full-size Pontiac line as well as the Grand Prix, was dubiously rated by Pontiac as only moderately stronger than the base 350 HP 400 CID and less powerful than the 366 hp (273 kW) Ram Air III. The Pontiac brochure indicated the same 455 installed in the Grand Prix model was rated at 370 horsepower (280 kW). The camshafts used in the Ram Air III and the GTO 455 HO were the same. For example, the manual transmission 455 HO's used the same 288/302 duration cam as the Ram Air III. The 455 was rated at 360 hp (270 kW) at 4,300 rpm. Its advantage was torque: 500 lb·ft (678 N·m) at 2,700 rpm. A functional Ram Air scoop was available. Car and Driver tested a heavily optioned 455, with a four-speed transmission and 3.31 axle and recorded a quarter mile time of 15.0 seconds with a trap speed of 96.5 mph (155.3 km/h) . Car Life test car had the Turbo-Hydramatic 455 with a 3.55 rear differential, clocked 14.76 seconds at 95.94 mph (154.40 km/h), with identical 6.6 second 0–60 mph acceleration. Both were about 3 mph (4.8 km/h) slower than a Ram Air III 400 four-speed, although considerably less temperamental: the Ram Air engine idled roughly and was difficult to drive at low speeds. The smaller displacement engine recorded less than 9 mpg US (26 L/100 km; 11 mpg imp) of gasoline, compared to 10 mpg US (24 L/100 km; 12 mpg imp)-11 mpg US (21 L/100 km; 13 mpg imp) for the 455 This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer one very cool 1965 Pontiac GTO. You won’t be able to help yourself from humming “Little GTO” when you fire up this bright red beauty. As Ronnie and the Daytonas sung in their 60’s classic, “Turn it on, wind it up, blow it out, GTO”. This ’65 has the iconic 3 deuces and a 4 speed that any Pontiac fan can appreciate. It sports a Pontiac 400 from a ’68, but still has the look and feel you’d expect from a ’65. The snappy red exterior is set off with a set of polished Cragar SSs wrapped in white wall tires. This one sports a unique white vinyl top which matches the white vinyl interior. Front buckets and a floor shifter leave no questioning what type of car this is: a true muscle car. This is however, the gentleman’s muscle car, so a wood rimming steering wheel and wood grain dash dress up the cabin. Power steering and power brakes are a must in a full sized car with the power that this one has. When you hit wide open throttle, you can hear all 3 carbs gulping fresh air to feed the beast. Needless to say, they just don’t make them like they used to. This little slice of muscle car history is available in our Dallas showroom. Swing by for a closer look, or check out www.GatewayClassicCars.com for 100+ photos and a video. Contact 817-310-9400 or firstname.lastname@example.org with inquiries.

Engine: V-8 Big BlockTransmission: 4-Speed ManualMileage: 20751 ( undocumented )
“Little GTO…You’re really lookin’ fine…” You can almost hear the song as you ride in this beautiful 1965 Pontiac GTO. This amazing numbers matching convertible packs a 389 cubic inch V8 engine, with added Tri-Power intake and Posi-Traction rear end and 323 gear ratio. It also comes with the protecto plate and Pontiac Historical Services documentation. The GTO’s creation involved transforming the upcoming second-generation Pontiac Tempest into a "Super Tempest", or "Grand Tempest Option", with a larger 389 cu in Pontiac V8 engine from the full-sized Pontiac Catalina and Bonneville in place of the standard 326 cu in V8. By promoting the big-engine "Grand Tempest" as a special high-performance model, they could appeal to the speed-minded youth market. The GTO disregarded GM's policy limiting the A-body intermediate line to a maximum engine displacement of 330 cu in (5.4 L). Pontiac general manager Elliot "Pete" Estes approved the new model, although sales manager Frank Bridge, who did not believe it would find a market, insisted on limiting initial production to 5,000 cars. This 1965 GTO is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (262) 891-4253 for additional information.

“Hero Car” is a term in the classic car enthusiasts world that denotes a vehicle of extreme desire and reverence; a bonafide statement of steel, heritage, and classic styling. Our newest arrival at the Gateway Classic Cars showroom in St. Louis, MO, has certainly earned the rights to this esteemed moniker. The 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 6.6, iconically donned in Starlight Black with gold embleming, was, and still is, the definition of “ Bitchin’ ”. The 2nd generation of GM/Pontiac’s F-Body vehicles hosted an array of impressive body lines, eye-opening powertrain, and new options for over a decade (1970-1981), and this specific arrival is a shining example of why the 2nd generation held such a lengthy tenure. This high-option Trans Am has been lovingly cared for and maintained, boasting a 6.6 litre 403 CID 4 BBL V8 and 3-Speed automatic transmission. A quick decoding of the VIN will lead its next satisfied caretaker on a journey through its production, which took place in the Van Nuys, California plant. From thereon, she was shipped for initial sale to Miller Pontiac-GMC in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Once parked and displayed, it wouldn’t be long before this bird found a new cage to break through. This Trans Am stands aggressively confident in its originality with a mere 42,269 miles. Mild restoration is suspected to have taken place throughout the years, but only with undying respect for maintaining the Pontiac patrimony. The engine bay, trunk, and undercarriage are all rock-solid, flat black, and free of unsightly rust - an absolute rarity for a Midwestern car. The traditional Firebird graphics and decals, unlike many other ever-peeling examples on the market, were done professionally and with respect to original placement and quality. Opening the door to this sought-after carriage will display a world of options to the trained Trans Am expert. Brushed aluminum rally gauge panel, custom Hobnail bucket seats, and tilt steering wheel make up just a few of the vehicle’s adornments. Further inspection will reveal modernization in the form of a USB/CD-compatible Kenwood head unit, allowing the driver to revel in glory to the sounds of his/her favorite tracks alongside the throaty v8 exhaust note. An NOS spare tire awaits use in the trunk, while the cherished 15x8” Gold Honeycomb rally wheels motivate the vehicle. Additionally, power steering and power brakes are utilized for this build. All glass is in excellent condition. The previous owners have taken it upon themselves to acquire proper and frame-worthy PHS Documentation, as a respectful nod to the excitement that one, possibly you, would and will feel when selecting this commanding example of Pontiac’s brainchild. Idle hands on this offering will pose a dire threat to making her your next addition to the family. To view this 1979 Pontiac Trans Am in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
