If driving is for fun, this is your car - the car that the Porsche Club of America built.” If you’re a Porsche enthusiast, you might be thrilled to learn that this vehicle, 1 of 701, even has a copy of the Certificate of Authenticity signed by Schwab! Indeed, this Porsche truly embodies the spirit of adventure and performance through its sporty suspension and power plant to boot! For the last 30 years this Corvette has been kept original and maintained by the same owner and, to this day, it makes for a great turn key cruiser! The red and white color combination is one of the most sought after of this body style and is easy to see why as you look around this car. The Chrome accents make the paint jump out from the crowd, and the red interior to match makes a seamless transition between the inside and out. As you open the door and slide into the driver’s seat, you will be taken back in time by the two-tone dash, chrome accents, and the large steering wheel that came stock back in 1957. Fire up the 283 cubic inch V8 and it’ll come to life quickly! The four speed manual transmission transitions smoothly between gears and is overall a very satisfying car to drive. The bias ply tires provide a cushy ride and keep it looking original. Included in the sale are the original WCFB dual four barrel carburetors. This stunning classic Corvette is ready for a new home and to be driven! It would make a great car for someone who has been dreaming about owning their own red on white 1st generation corvette. Gateway Classic Cars invites you to view this 1992 Jaguar XJS. Available at our Philly Store. The XJS had but one major restyling during its long life, for the 1992 model year. Of the car's 490 panels, 180 were modified or new, but it was still a subtle reworking. The rear windows, which incorporated black plastic panels on the original design, were rounded into a more graceful shape, and the vertical taillamps were replaced with horizontal units that emphasize the width of the car. For the first time, U.S. cars got one-piece Carello headlamps in place of four sealed-beams. This 1992 Jaguar XJS with 67,877 original miles is finished in Red with Saddle interior and Black cloth convertible top is powered by the 12 cyl 400 engine and automatic transmission. The Jaguar reputation for both luxury and performance is not lost on this sporty rag top. This convertible is equipped with leather interior, Air conditioning, Am FM CD, cruise control, heated and power seats. It also has power windows air bags, and cool wire wheels. Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this red 1972 Jaguar XKE. The E-Type is one of the icons of its generation as it made great head way with the high performance, low pricing, and sleek beauty all in one. This ’72 XKE features the strong and original 5.3L V12 which is still in great running condition. It's stated by the owner that the mileage is original to the car, however the engine has been rebuilt. The engine was rebuilt roughly 10,000 miles ago along with the rear differential. What was done to the engine was the stock pistons removed and replaced with forged 10.5 compression Venolia pistons and rings. High lift and duration cam shafts were also installed. The engine is mated up to a Richmond Racing 6-speed manual transmission which allows you to run through the powerband with a smile on your face. This car may not be the cleanest of the Jaguars out there but a great driver and a good start into the classic car world. A survivor is the best way to describe this ’72 Jaguar XKE that we have here for sale. With a few blemishes, it simply adds history to the car and shows that even after 47 years a car can still run like a champ. The interior has been completely restored less than 6 months ago and is in great condition. The tan vinyl interior has been restored to replicate the original leather interior the car had. Sitting in the driver’s seat feels like you’re sitting in a cockpit to a fighter jet. With the main control panel centered on the dash you can see it gives it that aircraft feel. For even more information on this 1972 Jaguar XKE located in our Houston showroom come by and see us or contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the showroom at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com
