This classic hot rod is ready to hit the streets in style! Less than 1,000 miles have been put on the rebuilt drivetrain of this 1949 Ford which features a 239 cubic inch flat head V8 and a 3-speed manual on the tree. Professionally completed by a automotive shop, this car runs and drives great. The original 6-volt system was traded out for a much more reliable and modern 12-volt system allowing the addition of some great features including an AM/FM radio with a CD player. The flathead V8 has a set of three two-barrell Stromberg carburetors on it that were freshly tuned allowing it to purr with ease! The custom red and white interior match the style of the car well and keeps the occupants comfortable on the longer cruises. As you drive along and shift through the gears, you will be pleasantly surprised at the power output that comes with having the V8. This Antique Ford has much of the iconic look that people have come to know with the hot-rodding culture and is the perfect car for someone who is looking for a car to get into the hobby without breaking the bank or perhaps someone looking for a great addition to their collection. 1950 Ford Woody

1950 Ford Woody

Engine: 351 Windsor V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 80,875 ( undocumented )

A great deal of time, money, and effort has gone into making this old Ford Woody the perfect cruiser! After the second (current) owner purchased the car back in February of 1988 it was driven for a few years before it underwent a restoration of the wood panels on the car in 1994. Taking over a year to complete by a professional, the woodwork has held up nicely and, to this day it still looks great! Under the hood sits a 351 cubic inch Windsor V8 with only 2,500 miles put on since the professional rebuild by a reputable racing shop. The front suspension was replaced with Mustang II components providing a much nicer ride and premium control. As you slide into the interior that was reupholstered back in 2005, you will feel as if you were transported to a different era. A time in history where it was deemed “okay” to make most of the panels out of wood! Fire up that big V8, drop the transmission into drive, and start to cruise! You can almost hear the “Endless Summer” album by The Beach Boys, playing from the aftermarket stereo. The ride quality is very comfortable and feels safe even at higher speeds. The rack and pinion steering is smooth and much more precise than stock, and the disc brakes will stop you quickly. Everywhere you go, this old Ford is sure to turn heads and be a crowd pleaser! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1950 Ford Woody in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1948 Ford Super Deluxe

1948 Ford Super Deluxe

Engine: 393 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 20,000 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to announce this outstanding 1948 Ford Deluxe Convertible for sale in our Scottsdale Showroom. This high-end, complete rebuild has had some very respectable hands involved in its restoration, utilizing an array of top-notch components and it shows! This build began with a 1948 Ford Deluxe V-8 Convertible beautifully restored to its original condition with burgundy paint and a tan top. A photo album details the build step-by-step, highlighting each stage. Kugel Komponents provided their expertise by customizing the chassis to handle the torque of a supercharged engine and fabricating a state-of-the-art independent suspension with calibrated coil-over shocks front and rear. Mitech Racing Engines bored and stroked a Ford Windsor engine out to 393 Cubic inches. Topped by a BDS Supercharger and dual Holley carbs, this engine produced 520 HP and 468 ft./lbs. of torque when dyno’d. A Ford C4 transmission has been called upon to put this immense power to the pavement. The removable Carson top and windshield chop are the work of Gene Winfield. The fenders were sculpted to the body, the final preparations made and “Candy Brandywine” paint was applied by Hot Rods by Boyd Coddington. This was one of the very last cars to come out of his shop in La Habra, CA. Bills Auto Upholstery in Brea, CA provided the luxurious all-leather camel interior with heated power seats. Many modifications were performed, some of which include: Installation of a 3.90:1 Posi Independent Rear End, 20-gallon Rock Valley stainless steel fuel tank, rack and pinion power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes w/electric vacuum pump, power windows, A/C, custom-made “Dougs Headers”, Blaupunkt Satellite Stereo System, “Appleton” spotlights on drivers & Passenger sides and the list is almost endless! Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 2,436 ( since rebuilt )

This truck has gone through a complete overall and ready for it’s next car show, and fully capable of taking home the trophies. As you will notice the rear of this truck shows “Trophy Hunter” which adds some nice appeal, but for those not favoring it, this can be easily removed if you would like. Powering the beauty is a 302 CID V8 that’s been paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The truck was built by “Hill’s Hot Rods” out of Lubbock, TX back in 2011 but took over 4 years and claimed to more than $200,000 into the build. The truck also features Doug’s headers, Edlebrock carburetor, and an aluminum Be Cool radiator to ensure proper cooling of the strong running engine. The truck rides smooth with upgraded suspension to include tubular upper and lower control arms, adjustable coil over shocks in the rear, and Bilstein shocks in the front. To give the truck some nice flare, the valve covers, and air cleaner were sprayed in a very nice bronze color. The truck has a very sleek paint job with a 2-tone color combo. The lower layer is a soft cream color that is topped off with a maroon that looks almost like a root beer when shining in the sunlight. This color combo is not seen often and is certainly a head turner. If you are looking for a truck that will let you stand out in a crowd, then this is the one for you. Winning numerous awards through the years to include taking 12th place at Good Guys back in 2011. The truck sits on a nice set of Bonspeed wheels 18” in the front and 20” in the rear. Behind the wheels are SSBC brakes mounted to slotted rotors on all 4 wheels to provide plenty of stopping power. The interior of this truck is far from original and done in a nice lighter brown color. In the center of each section is a nice darker brown patterned material that gives the truck some flare. The interior flows well with the other colors throughout the exterior of the truck and is truly show quality.
