One of Japan’s very first major successes in the American sports car market was the Datsun 240Z. The Series 1 was only ran for a year and a half and was easily identified by the “240” badge by the rear window and the vents on the rear trunk lid. These cars were small and sporty featuring an inline 6 cylinder engine sitting under the hood with an output just over 150HP stock. Almost all of these cars came equipped with a standard gearbox, although this one has the much more rare automatic transmission. Separating this 240Z from nearly every other one out there is who original this car really is. This classic Datsun is completely original and in great shape! You can still jump in it and take it for a cruise down the back roads and keep up with the best of them. This car is a no nonsense sports car and gives you an authentic driving experience every time you get behind the wheel and turn the key. If you have been searching for an original 240Z to enjoy or restore back to the exact way it came off the showroom you may have just found the perfect car! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1971 Datsun 240Z in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
