Engine: 383 StrokerTransmission: TH350Mileage: 3800 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this custom 1955 Chevrolet 210 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The custom Tri-Five world is on fire right now. With builds getting more and more outrageous it’s nothing to see these cars bringing 150000 USD and up. This example has the 6-figure build look just not the price. This 55 sits on a full custom frame that has been made specifically for it. The car now has coil overs on all four corners allowing to customize the ride quality to your liking. The disc brake conversion is one of the best kits available that not only looks great but stops this steel car on a dime. With the rolling chassis taken care the next step would be getting the car ready to sit down on that frame. The paint was applied first with the orange pearl laid on the main body and the pearl light silver metallic making a great contrast you are guaranteed to get nothing but thumbs up in this beauty. Under that stunning orange hood is a 383 stroker motor with only 3800 miles that puts out plenty of power. The built TH350 trans shifts out nicely and handles the power just fine. With the rear-end having a pretty tall gear highway driving can be done with no worries of wrapping up the engine. Inside the leather interior is as comfortable as the lazy boy in your den. The brown goes well with the overall theme but the thing most people notice is the trim. With an absolute ton chrome or polished steel, the inside shines like a new penny. Peak through the steering wheel and you will see a custom gauge pod that has all the vitals right there. If you have been wanting a great 55 that rides as good as it looks this orange dream is the perfect match. Gateway Classic Cars of Houston now has a beautiful 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air available for sale. This car is finished in a gorgeous turquoise/white exterior with a black vinyl interior. This Bel-Air packs a punch with it’s 355 CID V8 engine that goes through an automatic transmission to a Ford 9” posi with 3.73 gears. The car was rebuilt by Chris Car Doc of Humble TX and has only covered about 600 miles since then. The craftsmanship on this car is stunning. 1955 was the first year for the second generation of Bel-Air. 1955 was also the year for Bill Haley and His Comets to release “Rock Around The Clock” and Lady and the Tramp was first showing in theaters! For 1955, Chevrolet's full-size model received all new styling and power. The 1955 Bel Air was 3,456 lb (1,568 kg) and 15 ft (4.6 m) long. It was called the "Hot One" in GM's advertising campaign. Chevrolet's styling was crisp, clean and incorporated a Ferrari-inspired grille. Bel Airs came with features found on cars in the lower models ranges plus interior carpet, chrome headliner bands on hardtops, chrome spears on front fenders, stainless steel window moldings, and full wheel covers. Models were further distinguished by the Bel Air name script in gold lettering later in the year. This car is equipped with A/C, AM/FM radio, cassette, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, vinyl interior radial tires and alloy wheels. You will find it difficult to find a nicer Bel-Air. Call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220 for more information on this vehicle. If you are viewing this on a 3rd party website then you will be able to find more pictures and an HD video by visiting www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For sale in our Saint Louis Showroom is this 1972 SS Clone Chevrolet Chevelle. The restoration work includes replaced Quarter Panels, Front Fenders, Outside Door Handles, Dash Padding, Vintage A/C and Heat added, A/C Vents, new Carburetor, new Flowmaster Exhaust with Chrome Tips, Alternator, Guages, Tackometer, 10 Bolt Posi-traction, Stock SS Wheels, and Spare Tire Covers. Altogether, there has been a great investment in time and detail to make this classic girl a thing of beauty. In 1964 the Chevelle was originally Chevrolet's response to the demand for the smaller-sized car market, which had been successfully tapped into by American Motor's Rambler. Riding on a 115-inch wheelbase, the Chevelle was based on a new A platform design, and became American's second best-selling car of its time. The 1972 Chevelles featured single-unit parking/side marker lights on their front fenders, outside of a revised twin-bar grille. Powered by a smooth running 454 CID and TH 350, this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is a great classic to invest in as something to show off, as well as to use as your frequent driver. If someone pulls up next to your and revs up their engine to taunt you into a drag race, just lock in your seat-belt, put out your cigarette, rev your 454 back at them, and take your time driving home, because speed thrills, but kills.
