Up for Sale in our Detroit Showroom is a very impressive 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby. 1968 marked the end of the first generation Mustang Shelby production. The Shelby GT Mustang was offered as a higher performance model and was introduced into the Mustang line-up in 1965. This Mustang has had every aspect of its originality modified and is a mean machine. The first thing that anyone would notice walking up to this beast is the enormous supercharged 429CID BOSS Ford Hemi Powered V8. The extensive work that has been done to this engine is out of this world. This beast has enough horsepower to pin you to your racing seat at the touch of the throttle. Remember, this is a fully authentic and document 1968 Shelby Mustang which has underwent extensive modifications to be the biggest and best drag car at your local strip. This powerful Shelby is equipped with a highly modified 3-Speed Automatic C6 Transmission. The rear gear ratio is set up at 4.86 in the rear which allows for neck snapping power off the line. The enormous, sticky Mickey Thompson tires do a great job of keeping this Mustang planted and going in a straight line while flying down the drag strip. With less than 2000 miles since its complete rebuild, this Shelby is guaranteed to turn heads and snap necks on a daily basis. This pretty pony is wrapped in a shiny coat of Black along with metallic flake gold racing stripes which are a Shelby trademark. This Shelby is also equipped with Power Brakes with a complete Wilwood set-up to ensure a safe stop after exceeding 150MPH in no time. The interior sports a full roll cage with Shelby style racing seats and racing harnesses to make sure you stay strapped in for the ride. This Shelby Mustang is sure to impress its next owner and you will be hard pressed to find one this nice. Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta proudly presents a 1967 Ford Eleanor Mustang. Everybody knows the real star of the last Gone in 60 Seconds movie was the car. This Mustang pays tribute to the star of the movie, and this car is an excellent performer. Under the peper gray Dupont paint, this Eleanor rides great and has disc brakes at all four corners. Under the hood, things get real serious with a professionally built 351W based engine. Total cubic displacement comes in at a whopping 427 inches! The engine was built by Unique Performance systems with Edlelbrock Victor Jr. heads. The 427 is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission that sends the power to a rock-solid Ford 9-inch rear end. With Disc brakes at all four corners, this stallion can be slowed down from those excessive speeds that this car is capable of. Inside the interior is all business. Keeping the car enjoyable while driving is an AM/FM radio with a CD player to listen to your favorite tunes. This car is so cool that Carroll Shelby signed it in 2 different places. I bet Nic Cage would have loved the endorsement of Carroll in his movie car! Engine: 390 Stroked to 445 Big BlockTransmission: C6 AutomaticMileage: 500 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S-Code. The 1967 Mustang Fastback has gone down as one of the must iconic cars of its era. The sweeping lines and big block engines available only make these cars more desirable and the reason they still bring premium money today. This example left the factory, as verified by the Mart report, with a 390 under the hood also known as an s-code. Taken done and built form the ground up the car is now packing a bored and stroked 390 with a total displacement of 445 cubic inches now giving this car a whole new level of power. Taken from a 69 T-Bird the motor now only has 500 miles on it since it was installed. The built c6 transmission handles all that power nicely shifting through all 3 gears without hesitation. The Ford 9-inch rear end has a 3.25 gear set making the car a pleasure to drive on the back roads and good enough to cruise down the highway. With the posi traction allowing for both rear wheels to lay down rubber at will. With the Grab-a-trac suspension gone through and rebuilt the car handles as if it was racing down the road in 1967. The upgraded Wilwood disc brakes bring this Pony to screeching holt just in case you right foot becomes a little too heavy. The paint on the car is slick and been taken back its original red with the base coat clear coat giving it an even deeper look. The ram air hood lets everyone know that this isn’t your average pony especially with the rumbling from that stroked out big block under the hood. A look inside shows that the original style parchment interior has been used giving the car that factory look. The magnum 500 wheels finish the car off nicely and were one the best wheels to leave the factory. If you have been wanting a great S-Code but a with a little more oomph this red rocket should do the trick. Options on this 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S code include, AC, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior and Magnum 500 Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Engine: 289 CID V8Transmission: 3 Speed AutomaticMileage: 70,562 ( undocumented )
For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1967 Ford Mustang. With a quick look at this 1967 Mustang, with its light blue body, white hardtop, and white striping, anyone can see that this is a killer example of an American icon. 1967 saw the first redesign of Ford’s massively successful pony car. The body was enlarged, while keeping the same wheelbase, allowing for big block engine offerings, front and rear end styling was more pronounced and aggressive, and instrument panel offered a thicker crash pad, and larger gauges. The body styles were carried over from the previous year, offering hardtop, fastback, and convertible options. Along with the light blue and white two tone exterior, this Mustang features a matching light blue interior as well. A 289 CID V8 can be found under the hood powering this pony, and that power is fed through an automatic transmission. All of these factors put together add up to a car that not only looks amazing, but drives as good as it looks too. Engine: 289 CID V8Transmission: 3 Speed ManualMileage: 63,984 ( undocumented )
This good looking 1968 Ford Mustang convertible is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. The 1967 model year Mustang was the first redesign of the original model. Ford's designers began drawing up a larger version even as the original was achieving sales success, and while "Iacocca later complained about the Mustang's growth, he did oversee the redesign for 1967. The major mechanical feature was to allow the installation of a big-block V8 engine. The overall size, interior and cargo space were increased. Exterior trim changes included concave taillights, side scoop (1967 model) and chrome (1968 model) side ornamentation, square rear-view mirrors, and usual yearly wheel and gas cap changes. This convertible comes with the venerable 289 CID V8 engine with a C4 3-speed automatic transmission. The car may have been repainted at some time, but the original color is Lime Gold (Code I) and the current owner has had the car for over 15 years. The exterior has been finished with a nice set of factory rally wheels. It gives this a convertible just a little bit sportier look. The interior is Ivy Gold vinyl (Code 2G) and looks to be in very good shape. The black convertible top is in good condition and with a little care will last for years to come. If you’re looking for a nice week end cruiser for some top down fun in the fun, call before this little gem is scooped by another Mustang fanatic. Options for this 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible include; Power convertible Top, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Raised White Letter Radial tires. For sale in our Nashville showroom is this beautiful 1969 Mustang Convertible. This little pony was one of the first major redesigns of the early Mustang. Building on the success of the previous 4 years a lot changed for the 1969 Mustang. It now featured quad headlights up front, with the outer two being more recessed than the inner two that were merely mounted on the grille. It was also now larger and wider to look more muscular and aggressive to compete with Muscle cars in the styling department. When you take that new styling and add an automatic convertible top, you have what might be the best looking pony car to ever come out of Detroit. Sporting a 5 speed manual gear box and a 351 Cleveland V8, this car has the gumption to easily impress you in the seat dyno and spin tires. You’ll more than appreciate the ease and fun of driving this hopped up pony car. This wonderful 1969 Mustang sports a white automatic convertible top, a deep Dark Maple paint, vinyl interior, power steering, radial tires, rally wheels, and am radio. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this custom painted 1999 Ford Mustang Cobra convertible. This sharp Cobra started its life in Florida and has spent most of its time here out of the cold elements. Code-named "Terminator" by the SVT development crew led by John Coletti, numerous improvements were made to the powertrain and driveline to handle the power increase from the previous model's set-up. A cast-iron block was used, with stronger internals including forged Zolner pistons and Manley H-beam connecting rods that were modified with a wrist pin oiling hole by the SVT engineers. These upgrades were critical in order to support the 8 psi (0.55 bar) of boost delivered from the stock Eaton M-112 roots-type supercharger. Other improvements included the use of a lightweight aluminum flywheel connected to a Tremec T-56 six-speed transmission, 3.55:1 rear axle ratio, and stronger 31-spline halfshafts with revised upper and lower control arms. This white with white ghost flame custom painted Cobra has a clean history report and only about 81k actual miles. The white and tan look at been popular for years and will continue to be a sleek look on any muscle car. Options on this Cobra include; A/C, AM/FM radio, Cd Player, Automatic Convertible top, power seats and windows, power brakes and steering, power locks and mirrors, traction control, leather interior, and so much more. This numbers matching muscle car is in great condition inside and out. Upgraded wheels with new tires have been recently added to make this car ready for the road. Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this stunning 1963 Ford Fairlane. The Ford Fairlane is an automobile model that was sold between 1955 and 1970 by Ford in North America. The name is derived from Henry Ford's estate, Fair Lane, near Dearborn, Michigan. This 1963 Ford Fairlane wagon has been a drag racer in the Pacific Northwest for many years. We have seen many Thunderbolt clones, but never one based on a wagon, and this one is even better because it has real history. It has a modernized engine, yet the exterior retains older paint and graphics. Fantastic! The car sits right and the staggered steel wheels with long Moroso studs, which cannot be beat. The rear suspension and wide 11.5? Mickeys are nicely tucked underneath and don’t really hint at their increased capability. The red interior offers a nice contrast and doesn’t dig the Sun sweep tachometer on the dash and the roll-bar that extends back into the cargo area. The stock bench and steering wheel look great! The engine is the best part of the car and sets it apart from the small blocks we typically seen in wannabe T-bolts and Fairlane drivers. It combines a 390 block with a 428 SCJ crank to displace 423 cubic inches. It apparently wears twin 600 CFM carbs under a proper looking airbox and T-bolt headlight duct system. The transmission is a built C6. If you’re ready to stand out in a crowd or simply haul “butt” away from them, this is the vehicle for you! To view this in 1963 Ford Fairlane, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
