Our Detroit showroom is proud to offer this one-of-a-kind 1972 Plymouth Duster 340. This Duster was restored in the early 90’s using ALL NEW OLD STOCK PARTS. To include, the hood, both fenders, both doors, both bumpers, deck lid, tail panel, both quarter panels, complete exhaust system, radiator, all brake components and many more parts were all replaced using very hard to find NOS parts. The Duster is dressed in FE5 Rallye Red with a black vinyl top and black vinyl interior that feels just right. The engine block, transmission and all body numbers match. The original engine block was professionally rebuilt and balanced and has 1968 340 “x” heads with stainless steel valves. The cam is a Direct Connection “purple shaft” cam and it also comes equipped with Direct Connection race distributor with mechanical tach drive. Resting on top you’ll notice the Edelbrock “Six Pack” intake with Holley Carburetors that dress the engine bay quite nicely. Power is spun thru a 8 ¾ Sure Grip differential with a 3:23.1 gear. With roughly 5,000 miles on this restoration, this Mopar is one you can drive and enjoy as well as take to some local shows and earn a few trophies. This Duster is not your average molested Duster, this is the one worth collecting. For more information including over 120HD photos and video of this one in action, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable associates at 313.982.3100.

1970 Plymouth Road Runner

1970 Plymouth Road Runner

Engine: 426 Hemi
Transmission: 727 Torque Flite
Mileage: 67,628 ( undocumented )

This 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner with a HEMI is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Roadrunner was introduced in 1968 as MOPAR’s entry level midsize muscle car. For the small charge of 50000 Warner Brothers allowed Plymouth to use not only the Roadrunner image but the classic beep, beep for the horn. This real deal RM21 roadrunner is ready for the street or the show. A frame off restoration was done in 2005 giving this Roadrunner a new lease on life. The original 383 engine was put to the side with a 426/465HP HEMI making this B Body a pavement shredding monster. The MOPAR purple cam gives the HEMI those added ponies and an idle that is unmistakable. The 833 4 speed is original to the car with it being rebuilt to handle all that power. The 8.75 pose rear end has a set of 3.23 gears giving the car a good mix of off the line acceleration and highway cruising. Painted back its original color of light blue metallic except this time using a base coat clear coat giving it a much deeper finish. The N96 Air Grabber hood was an original option on the car and has to be one of the coolest things to be put out by MOPAR. The interior was restored back its original glory with the bucket seat console being a rare option on these cars. The white vinyl is clean and a great contrast against the black dash and carpet. The pistol grip shifter is another one of those classic MOPAR touches and exactly what you would expect in 1970. If you have been wanting to get your hands on one of the most iconic cars of the era this Roadrunner is a great choice. Options on this 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner include; AM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Custom Wheels with Radial Tires. This 1970 Plymouth Road Runner is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1973 Plymouth Road Runner

1973 Plymouth Road Runner

Engine: 360
Transmission: 3-Speed Auto
Mileage: 34,828 ( undocumented )

We have a beautiful 1973 Plymouth Road Runner coated in a stunning Blue hue with black vinyl interior. It boasts a 360CI V8 backed by a three speed auto trans. This is a stunning vehicle that deserves to be taken out on the road or to a local car show. The 1973-74 models received completely new sheet metal and had more conventional squared-up front-end styling and changes to the rear that more closely resembled the four-door models than the 71-72s. In addition, the interior options included retaining power seats and windows as well as offering plusher carpeting and seat covers, moving the car to a slightly higher level of luxury. The restyling helped sales which were up 40% over the 1972 models. In testing 1/4 mile times were getting close to the 16s, top speeds had dropped to barely over 125 mph (201 km/h), and the car moved further away from "musclecar" status. The base engine for the 1973-74 models had dropped down to Chrysler's workaday 318 CID V8 but equipped with dual exhausts which bumped the power up to 170 hp (127 kW). After 1972, no 440 with four-speed manual cars were built. The code E68 400 cu in 260 hp engine was the biggest Plymouth offered with the 4-speed, which could also be had with the 340 (1973), and 360 (1974) engines. The 318 was equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission as standard (though very few were built), and the TorqueFlite as an option, though at least one 318 engine 1974 car was built with the 4-speed manual transmission equipped with a Hurst shifter. The 440 cu in engine, boasting 280 hp was still available for 1973 and 1974, but only mated to the 727 TorqueFlite automatic, with 3.55 sure-grip 8 3/4 rear axle gearing available. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this beautiful 1973 Plymouth Road Runner in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1970 Plymouth Cuda Tribute

1970 Plymouth Cuda Tribute

Engine: 426 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 100,283 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this heavy hitter, a 1970 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda tribute located at our showroom in West Deptford, NJ! Shedding its Valiant roots, the Plymouth Barracuda entered the scene with a brand-new look in 1970. Featuring a radical restyling on the new E-Body platform, this car was ready to do battle against GM and Ford pony car contenders in performance and style. The challenging task of fitting Chrysler’s 426 Hemi engine into the previous A-Body Barracudas was one of the main reasons a redesign of the car was necessary. The Hemi fit like a glove in the new E-Body thanks to the larger cowl structure and all was set to rock the muscle car world. This incredible Hemi ‘Cuda tribute continues the legend from the powerplant to the paint! Nothing was left untouched during the extensive restoration by Clark Classic Restorations in Greenville, NC. While it started life as a 318 Barracuda, this car underwent an unparalleled transformation into the performance machine you see now. Utilizing original sheet metal, the body was mounted on a rotisserie where the real work began. A gorgeous coat of Lemon Twist Yellow paint was applied along with the sporty hockey-stripe bodyside stripes that accentuate the performance aspect of the Plymouth ‘Cuda. The heart and soul of the car, the fully-built 426 CID V8 Hemi crate engine rumbles with authority through Mandrel® bent exhaust and ceramic long tube headers. Linked to the powerplant is a Mancini Racing® 727 automatic transmission that shifts beautifully thanks to an iconic pistol grip slap-stik shifter. Press on the gas to feel that familiar launch found only with a Big Block Mopar! That’s a Mancini Racing® Dana 60 9 ¾ rear with 3.54 gears! Additional performance features include Heavy Duty Dutchman® 35 spline Axle, light weight driveshaft and 1350 Spicer® U joints, Heidts® Front End, Hemi K Member, Correct Hemi Leaf Springs, Powermaster® Starter and Alternator, Adjustable Koni® shocks, Track Style Front and Rear Brake Linings, Power Front Disc Brakes with slotted drilled rotors and so much more! Stroll to the inside of this gorgeous ride to reveal a crisp white leather interior that looks just as it did when it left the factory thanks to Legendary Auto Interiors®. Take a seat in the comfortable buckets and blast that AM/FM Radio with 8 Track and MP3 input rebuilt by Ward’s Classic Radio Repair®! Cruise with the matching white automatic convertible top down on those sunny days and relax knowing you are driving the coolest car of them all! Wrap your hands around the custom wood steering wheel and take note of the clean gauges including a fully-functioning clock. From the unique slotted courtesy lights to the seat belts redone by Ssnake-Oyl® of Texas, the interior on this ‘Cuda is off the hook! Simply stated, this ‘Cuda is awesomeness in physical form. Just look at that Shaker Hood, a standard option with those who checked off the Hemi box when they sat with their Chrysler-Plymouth Dealer. This hood did more than just shake when the Hemi unleashed its fury, it allowed cooler, denser air to enter those twin carbs! The pièce de résistance is the set of 15x8 rallye wheels that convey the message that this car means business. The 1970 Hemi ‘Cuda produced some of the most frightening quarter-mile times ever back in the day and it remains one of the most revered muscle cars ever made. Here’s your chance to own one! This build was highly documented and was done right as anyone can see. With only 284 miles on the build, this car is ready to run! Give us a call today to make this beauty yours! 1970 Plymouth Duster

1970 Plymouth Duster

Engine: 340 Four Barrel V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 30,380 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars Ft. Lauderdale showroom is proud to offer this one of one 1970 Moulin Rouge and Black Plymouth Duster. This Duster is the only one known to exist with this color combo. The Duster coupe provided the compact sized Plymouth Valiant with a sporty body style. The Valiant badge only appeared on the first model year Dusters. Built on the Valiant platform, they shared the same front end, but had a different design from the cowl back. Designed to compete with The Ford Maverick, the AMC Hornet, Nova, and oddly enough the VW Beetle. This beautifully restored 1970 Duster is a matching numbers masterpiece. And was featured in Mopar Magazines April 2005 edition. With all the factory markings reapplied to the finished restoration. Every grease pencil mark and paint splotch went back where the factory placed them. At the 2004 All Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle, this 1970 Duster occupied a place of honor in the invitational building along with other illustrious factory show cars. The Black vinyl interior looks as good as new and feels just as comfortable. One very rarely finds a muscle era Mopar with a contrasting color painted roof. Powered by the original 340 V8, mated to a four speed with the shifter placed before a black bench seat. A 3.55 Sure Grip rear end makes it easy to light up the F70-14 Polyglas tires on the 14” Ralleys. This one of a kind 1970 Plymouth Duster is an absolute blast to drive and will most likely get more attention that any vehicle it pulls up next to. Options on this magnificent 1970 Plymouth Duster include AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Rally Wheels. This 1970 Plymouth Duster is located in our FT. Lauderdale Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including a High Def video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1968 Plymouth Barracuda

1968 Plymouth Barracuda

Engine: 383 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 94,873 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Atlanta showroom is a second generation Plymouth Barracuda from 1968. The second-generation Barracuda, still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. The new Barracuda was chiefly the work of John E. Herlitz and John Samsen, with Coke-bottle side contours and heavily revised front and rear ends. Design cues included a concave rear deck panel, wider wheel openings, curved side glass, and S-curved roof pillars on the hardtop. Some points of interest with the 1968 Cudas were that the front and rear bumpers were identical, the rear portion of the roof on the fastback coupe was more streamlined, and the back glass, raked at a substantially horizontal angle, was much smaller compared with that of the previous model. Also, the use of chrome trim on the external sheet metal was more restrained. In 1968, while the 225 cu in (3.7 L) slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two- and four-barrel versions of the 273 cu in (4.5 L) to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in (6.3 L) "B" big-block, rated at 280 bhp (210 kW), the latter available only with the Formula S package. This Barracuda S comes with a Hensler Performance numbers matching rebuilt 383 and a 4 speed transmission,[non numbers matching trans] with just 500-miles on the motor since reinstalled. The dark Green exterior paint is in very good condition, shines brilliantly in the sun and contrasts nicely against the painted steel wheels with dog-dish hub caps. The black vinyl interior appears new and in great condition with only minimal signs of normal wear on the seat belts. The dash also shows no signs of sun fading or cracks. This Barracuda has power steering, and seatbelts. To view this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
