Behind this incredible motor is Power Glide transmission with SFI Dedenbear case and tail housing with grinder brake and Neil Chance bolt together torque converter with 5000 stall. Finishing out the drive train is a Ford 9 inch rear end with spool 4.30 pro gears, this is a rear end that was built with an impressive list of parts including HRW co. nodular iron 3.250 side bearing, Moser spool 35 spline axle, Moser 28 spline pinion support, Moser 28 spline forged pinion yoke, 488 Richmond gear, Bearings include inner and outer race bearings by NTN and Timken, tail bearings by Bower. 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst/Olds

1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst/Olds

Engine: 307 CID V8
Transmission: Hurst Lightning Rod with 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 60,697 ( actual )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1983 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds. The 83’ Hurst/Olds was the 15th anniversary of the first Hurst/Olds introduced by Oldsmobile in 1968. The 1983 Hurst/Olds featured a color scheme of black cherry, silver rocker panels with red and silver pinstriping, a new Hurst/Olds emblem, and the introduction of the Hurst Lightning Rod floor shifter in the Oldsmobile lineup. The Hurst Lightning Rod shifter allows you to get the most out of the 307 V8 when the mood hits you. Plus, on days when you want to take it easy, just simply let the four-speed overdrive automatic shift itself. Power comes from an Oldsmobile modified version of their 307 CID V8 engine, the Hurst Lightning Rod shifter transfers the power to the 10-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. The formal GM G-body shape works remarkably well with the aggressive Hurst upgrades (power bulge hood, rear spoiler, etc.) and removing all the chrome does wonders for the transformation from plush luxury cruiser to street brawler. Inside, the Hurst/Olds got bucket seats and a proper console, something few other Oldsmobile’s of the era can claim. The red cloth strikes a nice balance between premium and aggressive. Originally 2,500 of these Hurst/Olds were to be produced, that number was increased to 3,001 due to high demand from the public. The Hurst/Olds option was brought back in 1984 as well, likely because people just could not get enough of them. In 1984, 3,500 were built, and the color scheme was reversed (silver body and black rocker panels). The odometer on this 1983 Oldsmobile reads 60,697, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 1983 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, T-Tops, Cloth Interior, Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Power Windows, Power Driver’s Seat, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. The G-Body Hurst/Olds (1983-1984) were not the quickest of the H/O family, going back to its beginning in 1968, but it certainly ranks highly against its fellow 1980’s era competitors in power, handling, and styling. To view this 1983 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass

1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Engine: V8 Small Block
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 71,511 ( actual )

Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is this awesome 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass or Hurst/Olds. This original survivor with only 71,500 miles is in great shape and drives very smoothly. The car has tons of tread left on the tires, superb interior, and even the gold pin striping is in like-new condition. A lot of work has been done to this car to keep it properly maintained over the years. Now called simply the Hurst/Olds, appeared in 1979, based on the Cutlass Calais coupe. It still has the original L34, Oldsmobile's 5.7 L (350 in³) V8 engine. This car starts and drives great. The Hurst Dual Gate shifter that was built standard really sets this Olds apart from other Cutlass models on the market. The 1979 was the first H/O to be built entirely by Oldsmobile Division, it was also the first H/O that did not offer a 455 engine. It was, however, the only GM G-body to offer a 350 V8. It was also the first W-30 to come with the Olds 350 and not the Olds 455. The rarity of this car will surly make it a great add to any collection. White and black were the color choices available for the H/O in ‘79. This car has the White and Gold paint scheme with the Tan interior. Gold paint covers the hood, most of the top, and the very rear of the trunk. The aluminum wheels were also painted gold, along with the grille. This H/O was built by Oldsmobile at the Lansing plant. This car has almost perfect interior even down to the carpeted floor. The white paint still shines like it was freshly painted and gold accents really set off the paint on this unique car. This car will definitely be a great hit at the next car show! To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass (Hurst/Olds), please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon

1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon

Engine: 307 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 19,065 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon. The 4th generation Cutlass was released in 1978 as a much slimmer, more luxurious model than its predecessor. The 4th generation Cutlass would go on for 10 more years but would meet its demise as the big three were going to front wheel drive making these G-body’s a hot commodity in todays classic market. This example is by far the cleanest I have seen with the black paint being original to the car and looks amazing. The red pinstripe breaks up that deep black paint with the bottom of the front bumper being chrome dipped to match the other trim. This 2-owner car has lived an extremely pampered life while being driven more of as a Sunny day car. The engine is original to the car and runs like a top with the simple turn of the key. The 3-speed automatic transmission shifts out nice and smooth as the car is a great cruiser. The custom Corvette wheels look great and give the car a totally distinctive look. Open the door and you will see one of the most comfortable interiors released in 87. Just like the exterior the interior has been well preserved being all original and free from any heavy wear. These low mile examples are becoming harder and harder to find as, so many people have cut them up and turned them into drag cars. If you have been looking for an unbelievably clean Cutlass this one is as clean as they come. Options on this Oldsmobile Cutlass include AC, Am/FM Radio, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Seat, Rear Defrost, Seat Belts and Aluminum Wheels wrapped with Radial Tires. This clean 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. 1963 Oldsmobile Cutlass

1963 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Engine: 215 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 6,000 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present one of Oldsmobile's performance pioneers, the 1963 Oldsmobile Cutlass F-85. Oldsmobile had won a reputation for itself at General Motors by leading the way in engineering breakthroughs, such as Hydra-Matric automatic transmission, first seen on the 1940 models, and the modern high compression Rocket ohv V-8 engine that debuted in 1949. Both were at the leading edge of the swing toward driving ease and abundant power that arose in the 1950s and showed no signs of abating anytime soon. The platform for this power plant was Oldsmobile's unibodies F-85 for sale, introduced for 1961 as one of GM's upscale "senior" compacts. Related to the Buick Special and Pontiac Tempest, it equipped with an all-aluminum, 215-cid "Rockette" V-8. Boasting a hearty 185hp and spinning with a compression ratio of 10.25:1 this was one advanced engine for the time. Backed by Oldsmobile's famous 3-speed turbo-hydramatic transmission it makes for the perfect cruiser combo. It does have 6,000 miles on it since the rebuild. The car was traced back to an Arizona car and didn't need much on the restoration, so a gorgeous shade of cream was laid on the car and finished out with all its original trim and chrome. The interior is an also a supple shade of rich cream and accompanied by aftermarket gauges that help you keep an eye on the heartbeat of this Cutlass for sale. Options on this muscled out F-85 for sale include: AM/FM radio, automatic convertible top, power steering, vinyl interior, numbers matching, and steel wheels capped with spoke hub s and wrapped in radial tires. This 1963 Oldsmobile Cutlass is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
