For sale in our Dallas showroom is a very fun 1923 Ford T-Bucket. The Ford Model T was extremely popular and helped to put America on the road and the millions that were sold meant there was no shortage of small roadster bodies available for customization ever since the 1920’s. In the 1950’s the T-Bucket was named by Norm Grabowski and appeared in the show 77 Sunset Strip. An Icon was established that continues to live on amongst hot-rodders today. Titled as a 1923 Ford, this T-Bucket really stands out in the crowd with its black paint and hotrod flames.
This T-Bucket is a thrill to drive with a classic 350 Cubic Inch V8 that is fed by an Holley 4bbl carburetor on top of a Weiand aluminum intake manifold. Power is delivered to a 3 speed automatic transmission running back to a 10 bolt rear end. This T-Bucket is finished very well including ceramic coated Sanderson headers, polished aluminum valve covers, front disc brakes, and Big Ol Mickey Thompson tires.
This lovely hot rod has traveled only 7,000miles since the build making this iconic roadster ready for many more years of fun in the sun. Hop on in and throw back that hotrod flamed shift knob and get ready for a lot of turning heads and thumbs up along the way. For more HD pictures and video visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to have this 1926 Ford Model T listed for sale. This complete frame up rebuild is turn key and ready to be enjoyed. This sharp Ford has been owned by the same owner for 30 years and claimed to be a 2-owner truck. After 90 years this original numbers matching engine and transmission are still trucking along. All new Ford parts have been installed on this truck with the exception of the frame, running gear, motor, transmission, wheels, and cab. The truck has recently been repainted black by Larry Hill and has been reassembled with mechanical work done by Charles Rosato. The black paint is matched with black leather interior, a black soft vinyl material, and black wheels. The style in the appearance is topped off by the wood bed and wooden steering wheel. This truck is perfect for someone who wants to own a piece of Ford history or even a beginner into the car show hobby. The fun part of the early automobile is the ability to manually adjust the timing and throttle right from the steering wheel. This truck is a manual controlled by the farthest left petal on the driver side floor board. The Model T was a rear-wheel drive vehicle. Its transmission was a planetary gear type billed as "three speed". In today's terms it would be considered a two-speed, because one of the three speeds was reverse. The Model T had a front-mounted 177-cubic-inch (2.9 L) inline four-cylinder engine, producing 20 hp (15 kW), for a top speed of 40–45 mph (64–72 km/h). According to Ford Motor Company, the Model T had fuel economy on the order of 13–21 mpg US (16–25 mpg imp; 18–11 L/100 km). The engine was capable of running on gasoline, kerosene, or ethanol, although the decreasing cost of gasoline and the later introduction of Prohibition made ethanol an impractical fuel for most users. The engines of the first 2,447 units were cooled with water pumps; the engines of unit 2,448 and onward, with a few exceptions prior to around unit 2,500, were cooled by thermosiphon action. This truck has been rebuilt from the frame up and is ready to be cruised through the streets of your home town! Don’t miss out on a Model T truck that’s redone as nice as this one. This 1926 Ford Model T is up for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Engine: 355 CID V8 w/671 BlowerTransmission: TH400Mileage: 15,000 ( since rebuilt )
This 1927 Ford Roadster is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This one off custom built roadster is a fire breathing asphalt shredding piece of art. The poliform 27 Ford body has had support pieces of metal throughout for a better fit and durability. The Aluminum hood was hand built with the vents in the side being precision cut and man does it look good. The steel running boards are sturdy enough to step on but why take a chance of messing up that beautiful paint. Sitting on a TCI engineering tube chassis the car is about as custom as they get. The narrowed 9 inch has a set of summer brothers axles and a 3.50:1 gear perfect for all around cruising. The JFZ disc brake setup on all 4 corners brings this monster to a crawl quickly. The paint on the 27 looks like glass with multiple coats of clear applied it almost like looking in a mirror. The red hand striped flames help to add some old school flavor and are almost a requirement on any hotrod with a blower sticking through the hood. That 6-71 Hampton Blower and manifold sits on top of the 355 small block that has been filled with forged parts. The Chet Herbert custom cam was made just for this beast with the gear drive being essential on an engine setup like this. The TH400 transmission handles the power nicely with them manual valve body allowing for crisp shifts when you feel necessary. If you want a car that looks great, has an over the top engine, and is a blast to drive this 27 Roadster checks all those boxes.
