For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a unicorn of sorts. This one though is quite a unique unicorn. In fact if you Google “Blue Eleanor” this car is what you will find. A 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback that started life as a 390 CID car, many many hands were involved in making this dream a reality. The body work was done by Desert Mustangs in Scottsdale AZ. She has made the circuits and was sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2006 and then underwent many thousands of dollars worth of work on the drivetrain to make this monster work in real life. So now the engine is a fully built bored and stroked 398 CID V8 that started as a 351 Cleveland. All of the supporting parts are top notch and support the 575 horsepower this engine creates. There are some cool tricks too. The custom exhaust is very muted until you flip the switch on the center console that opens the exhaust, the car then sings a very different tune. The neighbors will not be very happy with you running through the neighborhood banging through the T56 six speed transmission. All of this is backed by a Ford 9 inch rear differential with 3.89:1 gears and locking differential. No she isn’t a one trick pony either, ac makes driving in any area or time of year comfortable, power steering and power brakes make it all buttery smooth for driving. And please don’t think she is just a show pony either, she did 167 mph in a half mile runway race recently. For all of this shock and awe this is a well sorted car with just the right options that include AC, CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum Alloy Wheels. Other 1966 - 1968 Ford Mustang

1968 Ford Mustang

1968 Ford Mustang

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 12,000 ( since rebuilt )

This awesome 1968 Ford Mustang is available at our Louisville KY showroom. The Terlingua Racing Team was named after a small community in Texas that Carrol Shelby and some close friends bought so they would have a place to go and blow off steam. Eventually Neale would draw up a logo that was placed on Shelby’s first ever GT350r right before its first race. As history has it that car would go on to win that first race and the emblem found its own place in the record books. This example is a great replica of what you would have seen racing in the SCCA Tran Am series of the day. The yellow paint is probably nicer than any of those race cars as it calls out for your attention. The stickers on the car are all classic 60’s and even has Shelby listed as social director which he actually was in Terlingua. Under the hood is a very healthy 302 that has a ton of power with a great exhaust note. Hit the button for the remote cutouts and that sweet exhaust note becomes a nasty growl. The C4 transmission handles the power nicely transferring to the 8 inch rear-end. Open the doors and a black vinyl interior is very inviting. The bucket seats are comfortable while giving you that old school feel. You will see something that never came in the original race cars and that is AC. Yes, you get the look and feel of an old school SCCA race car with the comfort of AC does it really get any better than that. If you have been wanting to get into a car that has the nostalgia racer look with some modern comfort thrown in this is the Pony for you. Options on this 1968 Ford Mustang include, AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. 1966 Ford Mustang

1966 Ford Mustang

Engine: 221 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 4,700 ( undocumented )

This 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe is for sale at our Louisville KY. The 1966 Mustang was pretty much a rollover from the last series 65. Minor trim renditions and new grill were all that was done due to the huge success of the 66. This beauty has gone through a well-deserved restoration turning it into the pony we have today. The body still has the original panels something that is hard to find on these second year Stangs. The blue paint is clean with some flake thrown in to give it a little different look while popping in the sunlight. With the body taken care of it was time to decide the engine and as with the paint it was going to be a little different. The first series Windsor small block V8 221 which bored .030 over seemed to be a great choice. The power output is great for this slick cruising car getting it down the road just fine. Of course, being a cruising car, the suspension was redone as well improving the quality of the ride that much more. The manual three speed shifts nicely and helps to spread out the shifts with second gear having a ton of room. The true dual exhaust helps to give the car a great exhaust note while not being too loud. Open the door and the original black vinyl interior is in very good condition. The bucket seats are comfortable and seem to have plenty of life left in them. If you have been wanting to get your hands on a Mustang but looking for something that is a little different this 66 with its Windsor small block is an excellent candidate. Options on this 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe include; AM/FM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and a set Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1966 Ford Mustang is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1967 Ford Mustang

1967 Ford Mustang

Engine: 289 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 30,082 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this quintessential example of a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe! The Ford Mustang was introduced unto the world on April 17th, 1964. The Mustang, conceptualized from the already popular Ford Falcon, provided the American working-class with a chance to own a modest sports car with a modest price tag, all without sacrificing overall enjoyment or amenities. Shortly after beginning production in mid-1964, the Mustang underwent extreme body modifications every couple of years, the first small tweak is seen here with this 1967. The 1967 and 1968 models were elongated by a few inches, with modifications to the car taking place in the front nose, as well as the sharpening of the body lines along the sides, while the rear taillight panel would now present itself with an indention, rather than a protrusion. Smaller, underpowered 8 cylinder motors were now offered with larger displacement than the first two production years, as well as more horsepower, and more amenities (such as back up lights). Upon decoding the VIN and datacode plate, we find that this particular C-Code 1967 (original 289cid v8 2bbl) was birthed in the San Jose plant before being shipped to Seattle for sale. An additional comfort that we find in this decoding of the Mustang is that this 1967 was Candy Apple Red from the factory, as well as adorned with black buckets, making her trim-code matching and very period-correct. 1967 Ford Mustang

1967 Ford Mustang

Engine: 390 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 56,787 ( actual )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1967 Ford Mustang! This 1967 Mustang for sale is looking sharp all dressed up in her red paint with white racing stripes. Adding to the red of this car is red vinyl and carpet in the interior and under the hood is where your friend will start seeing red as nestled in the narrow valley between the shock towers is a Ford 390 Cubic inch FE Big block power plant! Now I could have used the term “engine” or maybe “Mill” perhaps, but Power plant works best with 390 FE Ford. Sitting on top of this torque monster is a Holley® 4 barrel Carburetor to keep the energy fed to the thirst FE and giving you the instant throttle response that we all love. Backing this combo is the hardy C6 3 speed automatic transmission to give you tire shredding launches and still keep the rpms low on the interstate. This S code 1967 Mustang for sale was well equipped with it left the factory 51 Years ago, some of the options that stand out are Air conditioning and power steering! This classic pony car was one of the first to usher in the small car, big engine idea that helped a lot of us fall in love with cars. This little ’67 Mustang for sale has one more added bonus, the owner states that it has an incredible low, 56,786 miles on it! If I had purchased this car in 1967, I would have added that number to the odometer before heading home with the car. If you have always wanted one of these original sleepers, now is your chance, do not pass it by as “S” Code 1967’s don’t pop up for sale everyday.Options for this 1967 Mustang for sale include: Air Condition ( currently not blowing cold ) AM/FM Cd player, Power steering, Vinyl interior and American Racing® 5 spoke rims. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer a stunning 1966 Ford Mustang GT in our Saint Louis Showroom. This sharp GT coupe has been extremely well preserved and is in shocking condition. A Los Angeles 71 DSO car, it then made its way to Colorado, before coming to the St. Louis area in 2003. The vehicle is believed to have its original sheet metal all around as well as original interior. Optioned with Wimbledon white exterior, with red Pony interior, this GT is very well dressed. It wears a sharp new set of GT style wheels wrapped in healthy radial tires. Inside, the red pony upholstery is in surprisingly great shape. The carpet has been replaced, so it looks nice and fresh. 1970 Ford Mustang Convertible

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic w/OD
Mileage: 15,140 ( undocumented )

For sale is this beautiful 1970 Ford Mustang Convertible is in our Louisville showroom. This ’70 Convertible Stang has a few upgrades. The original engine has been replaced with 5.0 Liter engine from a 1995 Mustang GT. The engine is what is known as a roller block, because the lifters have small wheels that contact the cam. This reduces the amount of friction, which reduces wear to increase longevity. Less friction also leads to more horsepower. The 1995 GT also gave up it 4-speed automatic transmission, which leads to quicker take offs, while 4th gear allows for lower RPM while cruising the highway. The rear end is a Ford 9-inch piece which makes this drive train rock solid. The black vinyl interior looks to be in excellent shape with no rip or tears. The black top looks to be in great shape. At the flip of a button, the top will go up or down. The current owner has owned this drop top pony for 3 years.
