For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is this wonderful 1948 Lincoln Continental. This two owner, unrestored, time capsule of post war Americana has 56,234 actual miles on the odometer. Featuring the 292 CID Lincoln-Zephyr V12, this was the last American car produced and sold by a major US automaker with a V12 engine. This vehicle isn’t without its flaws, but looks remarkable for its age. The squared up front fenders, and large grille and bumpers give a strong presence from the front of the vehicle. Move down the long sleek doors, over the flowing curvy fenders with skirts, and you’ll find the original continental kit spare tire. In typical 1940’s luxury fashion, chrome is applied in abundance in the bumpers, grille, and assorted trim pieces. Push the button on the long graceful door, and you are greeted by unmistakable American luxury. The chrome treatment continues throughout the interior, and is complimented wonderfully by a combination of piano black and ivory trim, and white leather seats with ebony cloth inserts. HIGH VALUE VEHICLES

1963 Volkswagen Transporter

1963 Volkswagen Transporter

Engine: 1300 CC 4-Cylinder OHV
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 10,000 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this wonderful 1963 Volkswagen Transporter. This body style is the one to have and this little sweetheart even has the soft convertible top that when you put it back, you can let the sunshine in. Unlike some 23W models out there today, this one actually started life as a what it is today. Owned by a prominent VW collector, this is one of three buses he has in his collection. Having logged a trouble-free 10,000 miles since the engine was rebuilt, this 23W will reliably get you wherever you want to go. Throughout his long ownership, everything that's ever needed attention was attended to. It's been painted and a new interior was sewn up for it several years ago. Although the interior looks period-correct, it's not exactly as it left Wolfsburg in 1963. Only judges at a VW concours show would know the difference. These VW buses have gotten really popular over the recent years and are worth big bucks to overseas investors and collectors. 1964 Chevrolet Corvette

1964 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 327 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 69,765 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Nashville Tn showroom is a spectacular 1964 Chevrolet Corvette! For 1964 Chevrolet made only evolutionary changes to the Corvette. A few suspension refinements were made. The front coil springs were changed from constant-rate to progressive or variable-rate and were more tightly wound at the top, while leaf thickness of the rear transverse spring was also altered thus providing a more comfortable ride with no sacrifice in handling. Although transmission options remained ostensibly the same for 1964, the two Borg-Warner T-10 four-speeds gave way to a similar pair of gearboxes built at GM's Muncie, Indiana, transmission facility. Originally a Chevy design, it had an aluminum case like the Borg-Warner box but came with stronger synchronizers and wider ratios for better durability and drivability. With a 327 professionally built and installed this engine has a healthy sound and very healthy performance. With no expense spared on the rebuild of this 1964 Chevy Corvette You will definitely turn heads wherever you go. Painted a beautiful light blue with a fresh black interior and all new chrome you’ll swear this 1964 Corvette just rolled off the assembly line. Options included: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, hub caps, Seat belts, Radial tires, Posi traction, White walls and wire wheels. for more information, please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com

Newest Lincoln Arrivals

1979 Lincoln Mark V

1979 Lincoln Mark V

Engine: 400 V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 95,161 ( actual )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1979 Lincoln MK V. Lincolns from this era were known for their smooth ride. Most people that have owned one or even ridden in one will say that they glide down the highway with ease. This fine example is painted White over a blue cloth interior and rides on a new set of 17 inch wheels and tires. The miles are showing 95,161 but the interior shows as if the car has only 30,000 miles. Obviously this one has been very well cared for over the years. Recent work consists of a new exhaust system, new brakes, new shocks, new fuel tank, wheels and tires. Equipment was plentiful and included Power windows, Power door locks, Power seats, Power mirrors, Power smokers window, Cruise control, AM/FM radio with 8-track player and a Power moonroof. Power comes from the smooth running 400 cubic inch V8. The 460 was optional and did offer a few more ponies but would also have trouble passing up a filling station. The 400 is the way to go! Power is sent through the stout C6 3 speed automatic transmission and back to the rear end that is housing a set of highway gears making highway travel a bit easier. This Collector Series is an eye catcher of a car and newly added to the car is a set of 17 inch wheels shod with new radial rubber. The 17 inch tires have a shorter sidewall and offer a more modern feel to the road thanks to less flex from the sidewalls. For more information on this 1979 Lincoln MK V, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000. To view 100+ HD photos and video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.

1979 Lincoln Mark V

1979 Lincoln Mark V

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: 3 -Speed Automatic
Mileage: 60,144 ( actual )

For sale is this beautiful 1979 Lincoln Mark V is in our Louisville showroom. The owner’s Grandfather bought it new in 1979. The grandson has inherited this but has decided it is time to find it a new home. This great big ol’Mark V only has 60144 miles. There are still tons of miles to be enjoyed with this one. By the time the late 70’s rolled around there was a one thing cars had in common and that was size. Cars of that era were huge and this Mark V is a great example of a personal luxury car as the market was coined. Though you could get a Gran Prix, Cutlass or even a Thunderbird, none would come close to the Lincoln Mark V. The exterior is in good condition with no signs of rust and what appear to be the original panels. This 4600 LB piece of American art looks great sitting still or cruising down highway as these old boats love to do. With the Hide-away lights and chromed out front end it is easy to see why these are in such demand. Under the hood is where the gloves come off however as this Mark is not your average ride. With the tires, recently balanced and rotated the ride quality is everything you would expect. Open the door and the plush tan leather interior is inviting and is probably even more comfortable than it looks. The interior brings out the landau top and ties everything together nicely. The Personal Luxury Car market is seeing a surge in sales this Mark V should be a solid investment. Options on this 1979 Lincoln Mark V for sale include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD player, Power Windows, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Steel Wheels with Hub Caps and Radial Tires.
