For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a beautiful 1966 Dodge Coronet 500. The Coronet was first introduced back in 1949 but initially only ran until 1959. The fifth generation Dodge Coronet was reintroduced in 1965 and proved to be a very wise decision by Dodge because the Coronet ended being the most popular model they sold that year. This beautiful example of American history is the second year of the Dodge Coronet 500 option models. And sure is a beauty, with a brand new Blue Print 408 stroker engine, new interior including carpet, seats and headliner, and a brand new set of 17 inch chrome Cragar wheels. This car hasn’t even been broken in yet with around 500 miles since rebuild. Additional options include air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, and radial tires.

1966 Dodge Charger

1966 Dodge Charger

Engine: 318 V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Auto
Mileage: 5722 ( undocumented )

Take a step back to the mid-1960’s, when muscle cars were really coming of age with this beautiful 1966 Dodge Charger. This Indigo blue Charger packs a 318 wide poly block engine topped with a rare 2-4 barrel manifold with 2 AFB carbs, cam lift 450” Duration 272d, coupled to a 727 automatic transmission and TTI headers. You will love the power brakes, power steering, 15 X 7 Super Supreme mags and the molded hood scoop. The blue leather interior is all original and very clean! During the early-1960s, automakers were exploring new ideas in the personal luxury and specialty car segments. Chrysler, fast to enter the specialty car market, selected their Dodge Division to enter the marketplace with a mid-size B-bodied sporty car to fit between the "pony car" Ford Mustang and "personal luxury" Ford Thunderbird. The intention was to create a fastback look while sharing as much existing company hardware as possible. The Coronet-based Charger that resulted was introduced in mid-season of the 1966 model year in retaliation to the Rambler Marlin, Ford Mustang, and Plymouth Barracuda. Style-wise it was a complete departure from the Dodge's mainstream cars. The 1965 Marlin, along with the Charger that arrived during the 1966 model year, were the two cars set the standard for radical fastback design in American mid-size automobiles because it was an intermediate like the Rambler Marlin, the Charger could have been an aesthetic disaster, but long side windows prevented its sweeping roof from looking too heavy. This 1966 Charger is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

1966 Dodge Coronet

1966 Dodge Coronet

Engine: 426 CID HEMI V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 30000 ( since rebuilt )

IT'S A HEMI!!! Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to be able to offer this beautiful and powerful 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 426 Hemi! This is the car you want if you’re looking for comfort, style and big Hemi power. The Coronet reappeared for the 1965 model year as the intermediate sized B-body car using a 117 inche wheel base. When reintroduced in this 5th generation it was the biggest selling vehicle Dodge made that year! This is the 2-door hardtop version of the car which is one of the most desirable of the period. In 1966 Coronet received a redesign and you started to be able to get the 426 hemi as an option. The 440 Magnum that was in the R/T produced 375hp but the 426 Hemi pushed out a whopping 425hp! An incredible powerplant that has to be driven to truly appreciate. This is a numbers matching vehicle that even has the blue stripe tires that were only available from Mopar, only available for the Hemi and only available in 1966! Super rare stuff we are talking about here. This engine and transmission were rebuilt 27,000 miles ago when the car just went over 100,000 miles. The 426 Hemi goes through the factory automatic transmission and ends up at the 3.08 limited slip rear end. The exterior is a beautiful red color which looks excellent with the white vinyl interior. Features include an AM radio, spare tire, power brakes, power steering, jack and a spare tire. Rally whiles and the blue stripe bias ply tires really set the car off nicely. Don’t miss your opportunity to own this very rare and desirable piece of Mopar history. This Coronet is in our Houston showroom. Come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. 1966 Dodge Coronet

1966 Dodge Coronet

Engine: 318 CID V8
Transmission: 727 Torque Flite
Mileage: 57958 ( undocumented )

This 1966 Dodge Coronet convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Cornet was released in the 49 lines up as MOPAr5’s first postwar body style. It would go through many different renditions throughout its 30+ years but the most memorable has to be the 5th generation line up. This example was a frame off restoration with a build book that documents the progress. Taken down to bare metal and starting from there it was painted back to its original color. The convertible top was redone as well with the black vinyl still being in excellent condition. Hit the button and watch as the she folds down exposing that beautiful blue sky Under the hood is the original numbers matching 318 which was rebuilt during the build as well. The 727 had the same attention shown, gone through and built back to factory spec. The interior in the car was redone at the same time with the bench being covered in black vinyl which shows great on this car. The factory AC is a great touch and an option rarely seen on Mopar’s especially convertibles. The original hubcaps are a great touch and give it that original look with the newer style radial tires giving it a better feel of the road. If you have been wanting a droptop MOPAR that is original but won’t break the bank this Coronet is a great candidate. Options on this AC, AM Radio, Power Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Hubcaps and Radial Tires. To view this 1966 Dodge Coronet, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1967 Dodge Power Wagon

Engine: 454 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 107 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1967 Dodge Power Wagon need I say more? I guess I do. OK, open up Webster’s dictionary flip to the T’s, beside the word truck, that what a power wagon looks like. Riding on 20” rims and massive 11.00.20 tires (about 4 feet tall) this is a TRUCK. When it comes to power plants what would you put under the hood of this 67 Power Wagon for sale? Hemi? Sure, if you can find one, cheap enough. Or Big Block Chevy, yea, four hundred fifty four cubic inches of torque and power. This 454 CID RAT motor is packed with all the right goodies like a high lift roller cam, high rise intake and Holley® double pumping four barrel carburetor. This combination is said to produce over 400 horsepower,,,,you think! I think this combo is packing enough power to pull a house off it’s foundation, ok maybe it’s a small house. Backing this raunchy Rat is a turbo 400 that was rebuilt the same time as the engine, just about four years ago. The body was worked primed and painted the same time and the chassis was covered in black making this Power Wagon for sale looking fresh and new, but you know all this you just looked through all the photos. Just getting in to the driver’s seat of this truck your biceps will grow 3 inches, mainly of course because of the lack of power steering, but who needs power steering with all the power under the hood. This is a man’s truck so if you like plowing through mud or climbing over rock wall or just driving over the slower traffic in front of you (the last one not recommended) this is the truck for you. Options for this Power Wagon for sale include: Seat belts, and vinyl interior, Massive tires and Horsepower, what else do you need?!? 1959 Dodge D100

1959 Dodge D100

Engine: 318 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 30562 ( undocumented )

For sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a 1959 Dodge D-100. From 1957 to 1959, Dodge proposed the Sweptside pickup, a rival to the Chevrolet Cameo Carrier, but it never became a best-seller. A flat-sided (and thus wider) "Sweptline" cargo box came in 1959. The company also adopted the standard pickup truck numbering scheme, also used by Ford and GM at that time. Thus, the ½ ton Dodge was now called the D100. A traditional separate-fender body "Utiline" version was also built which had a GVWR of 9,000 lb (4,100 kg). The D-100 was considered a workings man’s truck back in the day. It’s somewhat of a rarity to locate these in good shape because of this. However, this owner has been able to do just that. This 1959 is only a 2-OWNER vehicle! That’s right, just 2 owners throughout its lifetime! This vehicle was bought and owned by a gentleman in California way back in 1959 (Owner provided original bill of sale). He held on to it and used this vehicle all the way up until about 2 years ago, when it was then purchased by the present owner today. The original owner loved this truck so much, he gave it a front/back full restoration (approximately 2006) a few years before selling this vehicle. Restoring it back to the shape he had previously purchased/received it in 1959. This vehicle is powered by a 318 V-8 engine and 4- speed transmission. Other eye-catching features include: Very clean interior, old school air-vent in the cab, chrome grill/hubcaps highlighting the word “Dodge” on each (No mistaking this one for a Chevy) & in my opinion, a beautiful looking woodgrain bed laid throughout. This most certainly was a quality work truck back in the day, but it’s ready to go to work for you now! To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1959 Dodge D-100 please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. For more information or to schedule an appointment to view this vehicle in person, please call the Dallas showroom at (817)310-9400 or email us directly at Dallas@GatewayClassicCars.com.
