Engine: 283 CID V8Transmission: 3-Speed ManualMileage: 2,247 ( since rebuilt )
We are trilled to offer for sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1932 Ford 3 window Deuce Coupe. This hot rod was very carefully built to be as accurate as possible to a hot rod from back int he good ole days, 1957 specifically. Going with the 1957 hot rod theme, the car is powered by a period correct Corvette 283. The stout 283 is backed by a 1939 Ford 3 speed manual transmission and a 1940 Ford rear end housing 4.10 gears. The frame is an original 1932 as is the metal gas tank and radiator shell. The body is from Outlaw and features an original firewall appearance. Topping the 283 is an original 1947 Cadillac air cleaner. The exhaust has been Jet Coated in black from the manifolds all the way back to the exhaust tips. The build looks as if the car was sent to us from the past via a time machine. Painted in a high gloss black with the red frame exposed and matched by the red steel wheels with chrome beauty rings and white wall tires(radials). The exposed engine bay also adds to the vintage hot rod theme. Don't be confused with builds of today. This one is no frills and all thrills. No A/C or power steering, this is a hot rod! It is also a proven show winner. It took Street Rodder Top 10 at Goodguys and received the Magnum Axle/ Real Hot Rod award from Goodguys. There's no question that the intended vintage hot rod theme was executed with precision. License plates shown on the car are not included. Engine: 302 CID V8Transmission: 3 Speed AutomaticMileage: 2,436 ( since rebuilt )
Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this show stopping 1956 Ford F100. This truck has gone through a complete overall and ready for it’s next car show, and fully capable of taking home the trophies. As you will notice the rear of this truck shows “Trophy Hunter” which adds some nice appeal, but for those not favoring it, this can be easily removed if you would like. Powering the beauty is a 302 CID V8 that’s been paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The truck was built by “Hill’s Hot Rods” out of Lubbock, TX back in 2011 but took over 4 years and claimed to more than $200,000 into the build. The truck also features Doug’s headers, Edlebrock carburetor, and an aluminum Be Cool radiator to ensure proper cooling of the strong running engine. The truck rides smooth with upgraded suspension to include tubular upper and lower control arms, adjustable coil over shocks in the rear, and Bilstein shocks in the front. To give the truck some nice flare, the valve covers, and air cleaner were sprayed in a very nice bronze color. The truck has a very sleek paint job with a 2-tone color combo. The lower layer is a soft cream color that is topped off with a maroon that looks almost like a root beer when shining in the sunlight. This color combo is not seen often and is certainly a head turner. If you are looking for a truck that will let you stand out in a crowd, then this is the one for you. Winning numerous awards through the years to include taking 12th place at Good Guys back in 2011. The truck sits on a nice set of Bonspeed wheels 18” in the front and 20” in the rear. Behind the wheels are SSBC brakes mounted to slotted rotors on all 4 wheels to provide plenty of stopping power. The interior of this truck is far from original and done in a nice lighter brown color. In the center of each section is a nice darker brown patterned material that gives the truck some flare. The interior flows well with the other colors throughout the exterior of the truck and is truly show quality. The panels, and headliner have been customized as well to keep uniformity throughout the vehicle. With the options of tilt wheel, A/C, power steering, power brakes, and door poppers this truck is ready for a show.
