For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is the famous, concours restored, Ford Mustang Boss 429! In 1970 Ford produced just 499 of these to compete with Chrysler's 426 Hemi in the NASCAR circuit. These engines were severely underrated at 375 horsepower. Some sources say actual horsepower was far and beyond 500, in fact this car was actually put on a dyno during restoration and is rated at 590! In order to fit this engine in the Mustang, Ford contracted out the work to Kar Kraft in Brighton, MI to complete the heavy modifications. This Boss 9 has been restored to the condition it would have come out of the factory in '70 by the famous Kevin Manley. The car's original colors have been retained: Grabber Blue on the outside, and a beautiful White vinyl interior. Where Mach 1s and Shelbys are typically adorned with striping, the Boss 429 has a much more subtle exterior scheme. Mono-tone paint and simple "Boss 429" lettering on the fender make the car a bit of a sleeper. Take a peek at the undercarriage and it is clear no expense was spared when refurbishing the vehicle. The underside is smoothly painted and shows zero evidence of road time. Every nut, bolt, and panel has been professionally refinished, rebuilt, or replaced back to the original specifications. Every paint marking and decal that Kar Kraft put on the Boss 9 during the original build was put back in place. Hop inside and the interior looks and feels like brand new. The wood grain dashboard and large analogue clock certainly scream 1970, but the 4 speed shifter and full instrumentation scream race car. The Boss 9 was the top of the line Mustang so of course it came well equipped. A Boss 429 is on any Mustang collector's list. This is a stunning concours example of the breed, and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. Engine: 351C CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 38789 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Nashville Tennessee showroom is a loud and proud 1970 Ford Mustang. This 1970 Ford Mustang for sale is all that is American, with the ready to rumble exhaust and long lines that stretch from front to back this car is meant for car shows and cruise ins. Powering this mighty machine is a 351C V8, what is the “C” mean? Well it’s a Cleveland built engine and in the motor world that means more power and a heftier build. Backing this Powerplant is a 4-speed manual transmission.Keep in mind the this is a Numbers Matching car "as stated by the owner" and it will not be going down in value. This will give you the opportunity to drop a gear and show these late model cars what true muscle is! The exterior of this road monster is draped in a Grabber Blue which is notorious with the Ford Mustangs, hence beast mode! You do not see a Ford Focus in Grabber Blue because the Mustang would most likely stop and eat it for lunch if it saw it. The interior of this 1970 Ford Mustang for sale is a soft and plush white Vinyl interior that gives both driver and passenger that same creature comforts. Close your eyes and imagine a stout V8 firing up, with the lope of the cam and the build of the exhaust system giving it that rowdy “ potato potato potato sound that gives the feeling that you are running 100MPH at a standstill…… Sounds amazing to me. Options on this 1970 Ford Mustang include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio, Power steering, Seatbelts, Vinyl interior and performance BF Goodrich radial tires wrapped around two tone black and chrome rally wheels! 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1

Engine: 351 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 9371 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This 1970 Mach 1 for sale in covered in iconic Grabber orange with black rally stripe and looks like it just drove out of the showroom for the first time. With the speed of sound being around 761 miles per hour and this speed being designated Mach1, Ford produced Mustangs with this title to let you know just how fast it was. Sitting between the front shock towers is the small block Ford that a lot of big blocks chased back then. The 351 Windsor and sitting on top of this power plant is an Edlebrock® performer 351-w intake with one of Vic’s own Carburetors. This of course provides plenty of power to blister the poor rear tires on this incredible pony car. Bolted to the back of this Engine is a 4-speed manual transmission giving the driver more control of just how long the rear tires last and of course how much smoke he put in the face of the Challenger behind him. The rear axle housing is Fords finest, a 9 inch that houses a 3.50 gear set. Maybe this should be a Mach2? With all this go, there must be enough whoa to go around so, power disc on every corner provide all you will need. Open the driver’s door and slide in to the control seat, let your left foot get used to the throw on the clutch, while your right finds the limit of the loud pedal. While getting used to the controls, take a look around at the like new high-backed bucket seats, center console, dash, carpet and head liner and try to remember that it is 2018 and not 1971. While sitting behind the wheel just try to not run through the gears and imagine the wild ride you could give this car, heck you would make Ken Block want to watch your you tube video. Heck I’ll watch it, I am a sucker for a fastback Mustang and this one is as good as it gets! Options for this 1970 Mustang Mach 1 for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, Power steering and Brakes, Seat belts Posi Traction and Radial tires. Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1970 Ford Mustang coupe for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. This immaculate pony car has been customized from top to bottom starting with painting the classic lines a medium silver and accenting it with tastefully applied gloss black stripes. The black leather interior contrasts nicely with the silver/black body. The argent-colored wheels are from a late-model Mustang but they appear right at home on this awesome coupe. The bigger wheels and the lowered stance fill the wheelwells much better than Ford designers ever intended. Under the hood, a fully detailed compartment houses a 302 CID V8 featuring an aluminum intake, Holley carb., and headers into true dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. It sounds just like you'd expect it to! With air conditioning, the cooling system needed beefing up from stock, so a heavy-duty aluminum radiator now handles the task of keeping this '70 Mustang running at the right temperature. This classic American icon is turn-key and ready to go so that all the new owner has to do is get in and drive it. If you're a classic Mustang fan, you'll love this sexy pony car. Engine: 351 Cleveland V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 79219 ( undocumented )

We offer this 1971 Ford Mach 1 for sale in our Atlanta Showroom. This 351 Cleveland has the business end ready for you. Is there anything cooler than a specialty edition car from the era, I think not, maybe only two specialty cars instead of one. In 1971, the Mach 1 started with a base engine of the 302ci based Windsor motor, with a 2 barrel carburetor, followed by four optional 351 Cleveland engines. One of the most recognizable features of the '71-'73 Mustangs is the optional, standard on Boss, 351 NACA hood design with dual scoops. Though available as a visual, non-functional item, they could be made fully functional on models ordered with the Ram Air option, which included vacuum controlled 'flaps' inside each scoop, and a fiberglass under-hood 'plenum' that directed cool, outside air through a modified, rubber-ringed air filter housing and into the carburetor. The ram-air option included a two-tone hood paint treatment in either 'matte black' or 'argent' (matte silver), coordinated to the base color of the Mach 1 and its decals and striping. In addition, all Ram Air-equipped Mustangs of this generation came equipped with twist-style, chrome-plated hood locking pins. Options include: Cassette Player, Custom Wheels, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl interior, AM/FM radio, radial tires, rally wheels. Mileage: 24101 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia is thrilled to offer this extraordinary piece of American automotive history, a two-owner 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 with just over 24,100 actual miles! This legendary car was built for one reason and one reason only… win races. The battle for waged upon the speedways of the NASCAR circuit with the top dogs, Chrysler and Ford fighting for dominance each weekend. Chrysler’s introduction of the 426 Hemi engine in 1964 rocked the racing world and prompted Ford to come up with a necessary response. The answer, the Boss 429, a mythical powerplant designed to run longer and stronger than the famed Hemi. In accordance to NASCAR’s rule requiring manufacturers to release a limited number of legal street versions to the public, Ford chose the Mustang to be the recipient of this mighty power. The Boss 429 was derived from the 385 series engines, bored out and stroked to 429 cubic inches and topped with aluminum semi-hemispherical cylinder heads designed to move a lot of air. The impressive engine’s size required extensive modifications to the Mustang body and Ford contracted Kar Kraft® to carry out the task. Basic sportsroof Mustangs were sent to Brighton, MI where they underwent front-end modifications to accommodate the 429. Once in place, they made several other changes to the car include repositioning of the battery to the trunk, ¾” rear sway bar, manually controlled hood scoop and a 3.91 ratio rear axle with a limited slip differential! Production began in 1968 and oversaw 859 Boss 9s completed, two of which were Mercury Cougars. This is one of those revered vehicles in true survivor form! Wearing its original Candy Apple Red paint, this Boss is truly a rare find! Purchased new at Don Rice Ford in Bedford, PA in May 1969, this Boss retains 99% of the original components found on it including Autolite® belts! All factory chalk marks are still present and visible! How often do you come upon unique details like that?! It’s all there including the floor mounted shift lever, flawless high back vinyl bucket seats, deluxe seat belts, color keyed racing mirrors and handsome woodgrain paneling! Turn the key to hear the sweet rumble of the 429 that conveys the message that the Boss means business. This car has been meticulously maintained by its current owner for over forty years. This Mustang is a true time capsule that continues to tell the incredible story of performance innovation and preserves American automobile history. The opportunity to own a piece of history is now here and it calls for someone to be the next keeper of legends, is it you? Additional features include Original Bill of Sale and an Elite Marti Report by Marti Auto Works®, AM/FM Radio with Cassette, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Seat Belts. Engine: 289
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 14769 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1953 Ford F100. This ‘53 Ford F100 is the one you have been waiting for. Too often you see cars and trucks that have been personalized past the point of no return. Fortunately, that is not the case with this truck. Looking at this beautiful fire engine red truck is like an artist looking at an open idea. You can leave it the way it is and have loads of fun, or modify it to your liking. The overall stock look is very appealing with the bright red paint and black running boards. The simplistic chrome “dog dish” hub caps and painted steel wheels takes you down memory lane. There is just enough chrome displayed to add to the look, but not take away from the nostalgic feel. You don’t run into these 1953 Ford F100’s in this type of shape often. The simple basic feel carries right over into the light brown vinyl bench seat interior. This truck makes you want to hop in, drive to a huge open field, and sip a tall glass of lemonade. With only a few knobs and switches on the inside, the bright chrome gauge cluster captures your eyes showing speedometer, oil pressure, volts, water temp, and fuel. Powering this classic F100 is a Ford 289 “Y” block mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Adding to the vintage package is the fact that it is “three on the tree.” It doesn’t get much better than this when it comes to a pure throwback classic. If it’s too tame for you, let your imagination run wild. The best thing about this 1953 Ford F100 is the fact you know exactly what you’re dealing with. Options include Spare Tire, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and a Wood Slat truck bed. Don’t miss your opportunity to take a trip down memory lane. There is still plenty of country roads out there to explore and car shows to pull up to. This 1953 Ford F100 is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. If you would like to see it in person, come to our Tampa Showroom, located at 351 30th Street NE, Ruskin, FL 33570. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
