1967 AC Cobra Replica

1967 AC Cobra Replica

Engine: 351 CID V8
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 2,863 ( actual )

For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1967 AC Cobra Replica. The Shelby Cobra was first made in 1961 when Carroll Shelby wrote to AC Cars, a British automotive company, and asked if they could build him a car with a V8 instead of their V6. Ford supplied the engine, at Carroll Shelby's request, so they could compete with Chevrolet’s Corvette. This vehicle’s build was completed in 2007- it’s titled as such. It was a well-executed build as all the wiring is unified and not a scrambled mess, which you’ll find occasionally in these builds. Grab onto the woodgrain wheel and hold on, as this vehicle has plenty of power to get you where you’re going. Motoring this bad-piece of machine is a 351- connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine/trans combo makes for a truly enjoyable driving experience at any speed. Behind the excellent powertrain is a Ford independent rear suspension, which puts down the power very smoothly. This Cobra also comes with heater capability, so you can keep a passenger or yourself nice and toasty as you zip around town. A new owner is going have a lot of fun in this vehicle very soon! Will that be you? To view this 1967 AC Cobra replica in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1965 AC Cobra

1965 AC Cobra

Engine: 428 CID V8
Transmission:
Mileage: 4,807 ( actual )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this spectacular 2008 B&B Shelby Cobra replica. This is an excellent quality build. Under the hood, you will find a mighty 428 CID Cobra Jet V8 engine, mated to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. Fast is a complete understatement. With little to no weight and a big V8 up front, this thing is a rocket. This one has been very well kept and cared for over it’s life. It has only covered 4807 miles since it was built, almost like buying a new one but for much less. Inside the car you will see harnesses for extra safety. Power is out to the ground via radial race tires that are rapped around racing wheels. Whether you’re looking for a cruiser, track day car, show car or something fun, this is the car. This car gives you the feeling of driving a car that can reach upwards of one million dollars, but without the extreme price tag. A lot of the replicas drive better than the originals and allow you to enjoy the experience without living in fear of owning something that would cost an arm and a leg to fix if something goes wrong. Many parts are easy to get and the cars are fairly simple. The lack of options list is based on how bare bones these are. When you’re behind the wheel of a Cobra, it’s just you, the car and the road ahead. A true driver’s car. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Mileage: 480 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this awesome 1965 AC Cobra replica! Everett Morrison began when Buford Everett purchased an original mold of the Cobra and tooling for the Chevrolet Cheetah from Dean Morrison in 1983 in Chicago. From the beginning, the company has introduced innovations that would make the new kit car more responsive, powerful, and yet reasonable to construct with a minimum of tooling. Since this is a 2009 Model, it has the complete vehicle redesign that came out in 2002. Featuring a completely new tubular and ladder frame made of stainless steel and then simplifying the process of molding the fiberglass bodies and panels. Powering this Cobra is a 460 Ford Big Block backed by a C4 transmission and 9-inch Ford Rear. With big-block power and the agility of the lightweight chassis, this cobra is nothing short of a thrilling experience no matter what road or track you throw at it. Pairing all that performance with a classic blue paint job, twin white racing stripes along with side exit exhaust, it will result in nothing but instant recognition and admiration of the racing roadsters of the 1960s. All of the racing spirit and heritage of those cars is captured together and represented perfectly with this Cobra.
