For sale in our Dallas/Ft. Worth showroom is this great looking Hemi orange 1970 Dodge Super Bee. This super rare, legendary muscle car, Super Bee underwent a total frame-off restoration with 3,581 miles showing on the odometer since. It is a numbers matching, authentic Super Bee with an “M” as the second letter of its VIN. Under the hood is the correct, unmodified 383 Magnum big block 6.3L V-8 producing 335 hp.

For the 1970 model, the Super Bee received a redesign and a new front-end that consisted of a twin-looped front bumper that Dodge Public Relations referred to as "bumble bee wings". In addition to the new looks, engine choices and "ramcharger" hood carried over from 1969, the 1970 cars from Dodge featured several new or improved options. 1968 Dodge Dart GTS

1968 Dodge Dart GTS

Engine: 340 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 300 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars now has a very special and beautiful 1968 Dodge Dart GTS Convertible available in Houston! This one is powered by a numbers matching 340 CID V8 engine that goes through a factory TorqueFlite transmission. This engine has only covered less than 500 miles since the car was restored in 2013. Exterior is finished in a red with black top combination. Features include an AM radio, automatic convertible top, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, jack, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires. This is part of the fourth generation of Dodge Dart vehicles produced between 1967 and 1976. The Dart was substantially redesigned for the 1967 model year. It received new styling, revised steering systems, wider front track and frame rail spacing. Redesigned K-members were added to accept the larger engines that Dodge had in mind for the car. In 1967 you would also notice the rear window with inverse curves, creating a new and unique appearance at the rear of a greenhouse, but designed to collect snow! The 170 CID I6 was dubbed simply “Dart”, with the 270 and GT carrying on mostly unchanged. In late 1967 the GTS came out in limited quantities due to it’s lateness, but the 1968 was arguably improved anyway, by fitting the new high-output 340 CID V8! That is the car that you are looking at here. The first of the 340 GTS cars. Aside from the engine, changes for 1968 were relatively subtle. The park and turn lights in the grille were moved slightly inboard and made round. Side marker lights were added to the front fenders and rear quarter panels, to comply with newly introduced Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. Shoulder harnesses (separate, this year and until 1973, from the lap belts) and non-glare matte finish on the windshield wiper arms were also part of the 1968 federally mandated safety package. This is a hard to find vehicle and a perfect addition to the garage. 1973 Dodge Challenger

1973 Dodge Challenger

Engine: 318 CID V8
Transmission: 904
Mileage: 3,696 ( undocumented )

For Sale in our Louisville showroom is this 1973 Dodge Challenger. Introduced in fall 1969 for the 1970 model year, the Challenger was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. Positioned to compete against the Mercury Cougar and Pontiac Firebird in the upper end of the pony car market segment, it was a rather late response to the Ford Mustang, which debuted in April 1964. Even so, Chrysler intended the new Challenger as the most potent pony car ever, and, like the less expensive Barracuda, it was available in a staggering number of trim and option levels, and with virtually every engine in Chrysler's inventory. This beautifully restored car is a real head turner. With classic car looks and the strong Mopar heritage, this 1973 Challenger for sale has everything you need to get into the classic car hobby and buy right. Under the hood is the durable and peppy 318cid V8 that seemed to find its way into just about anything Chrysler. This mighty small block motor was known to be a high revving and full of torque. It was married up with also durable and mighty 904 3 speed automatic transmission. This car came with power steering and power brakes. The styling is what makes this car so great. The dark red exterior with black accents give it that great Mopar vibe. The interior is all new black leather and looks awesome against the dark red exterior. The odometer states 73,xxx miles, but with the build on this car being completed only a year and a half ago, this car only has around 1000 miles since. Options for this 1973 Dodge Challenger include: AM/FM Stereo w/CD Player, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Alloy Rims w/ Radial Tires. This 1973 Dodge Challenger is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1970 Dodge Challenger

1970 Dodge Challenger

Engine: 440 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 2,878 ( since rebuilt )

Through the years of fans and enthusiasts, certain automotive terminology tends to build its own appeal. For example, in most gearheads' minds the term "Plum Crazy" recalls one of Chrysler's most creative and confident eras. "R/T", short for Road/Track, invokes visions of muscle cars prowling small town streets. "Dana 60" or "Scat Pak" incites visions of late-night stoplight brawls and octane-fueled quarter-miles. And who could forget "Hemi", the incredible V8 that led Chrysler through an era of epic performance. If you are looking for first class Mopar muscle then look no further than this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack car sporting the iconic Plum Crazy purple paint on the exterior with black vinyl top. Being 1 of only 847 Challengers in 1970 to have the 440 Six Pack mated to a 4 speed manual adds even more excitement to owning this classic piece of American muscle. Given its resurgence in popularity, no doubt aided by the current LC-based version, the Challenger is considered by some to be the quintessential American muscle car: a status that naturally invokes an aggressive and exciting aesthetic. At the front of this Challenger, a 1970-exclusive grille hangs an unmistakable "Challenger R/T" badge between pristine headlights, amber parking lamps and a mirrored bumper. Behind that grille, a pinned, Hemi-branded hood props bold "D O D G E" lettering in front of clean glass that is framed in correct stainless and capped by correct vinyl. At the sides of that hood, a sculpted profile hangs correct R/T stripes amid fresh rocker trim, flush door handles, a correct mirror and ornate ""Challenger"" scripts. And at the back of the car, a stainless-trimmed valence centers body-width taillights and more ""D O D G E"" lettering between a second ""Challenger R/T"" badge, a second mirrored bumper and correct, quad-outlet exhaust tips. Open this coupe's light hood and you'll find the legendary, 440 cubic inch Hemi that, while not original to the car, is a date-correct piece that has been professionally rebuilt and maintained to keep it’s nostaligic looks and performance. All of the 390 horses reside in a glossy Hemi Orange block. And exhaust is handled by correct, low-restriction exhaust manifolds that feed an H-shaped crossover. Slide under this spotless E-Body and you'll find a solid chassis that's ready for the turntable. Satin Black paint highlights exceptionally clean floors that have been finished to better-than-new condition. Behind the Hemi, lives the original 4 speed manual transmission to the car that is tight and shifts like new. Helping transfer all of this excitement to the pavement are is the factory Dana rear end that houses a set of 3.54 gears. Stops come courtesy of correct power front disc and rear drum brakes. And all this Mopar goodness rolls on stylish Rallye Wheels, which twist radial tires with raised white lettering around polished trim rings and silver center caps. Peak your head in the window of this car and you'll find a correct Black interior that's functional, straightforward and very comfortable. The front bucket and rear bench seats are wrapped in pliable vinyl covers that display hardly any signs of wear. Below those seats, stain-free carpet floats Challenger-themed mats at the sides of a correct, wood-trimmed console and cool Pistol Grip Shifter. The wood-trimmed dash seats correct Rallye gauges and has been painstakingly restored to its original glory. In front of the driver, a correct steering wheel mixes subtle form with major function. And behind the passengers, a nicely finished trunk centers a correct jack and space saver spare tire between a correct mat and new decklid decal.
