Now available in our Dallas Showroom is this 1950 Deluxe-Styleline. Although there was over 80,000 + of these made, the years have passed, and the numbers of these left has dwindled. They made two different types of deluxe back in 1950, the Fleetline and the Styleline. Fleetline were more of a fastback style, while Styleline’s were more of a bubbletop appearance. This Deluxe is powered by a traditional 216.5 CID, 6-Cyclinder engine which produces approximately 92 HP to the tires. The interior is fresh and really pops with the red and white coloring throughout. It has a 50/50 bench style seat up front, so you can pull your significant other close as you’re cruising down the road. This truck is going to be a lot of fun to a new owner very soon… will that be you? 1949 Chevrolet 3800 Flatbed

1949 Chevrolet 3800 Flatbed

Engine: Inline 6
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 66,139 ( undocumented )

This 1949 Chevrolet 3800 Flat Bed truck is for sale in our Louisville Ky Showroom. Chevrolet's new truck series were GM's first new post-war vehicles, as well as America's first new post-war trucks. The 'Advance Style' trucks, with integrated headlights and larger cab, started an industry trend, and the switch from horizontal to vertical front grille set Chevy's trucks apart from all others on the road. Soon all truck builders were redesigning their cabs for three-person seating and more comfort. Advance Design trucks were offered in different several models, identified by a four-digit number displayed on both sides of the hood. Half-ton trucks were 3100 series, with 3/4-ton trucks getting a 3600 designation and 1 ton trucks having the 3800 designation. This beauty is powered by a 235 Cubic Inch Inline 6-cylinder engine. The engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission that finishes out with a heavy-duty rear end with dual tires. The dual tires allow for heavier loads by displacing the load over two tires versus one on each side. The Truck has been meticulously restored by the nephew of the original owner. A labor of love here as the family worked together to bring back a piece of history and fond family memories. The dark green paint (color code 93-62006) is in very good shape. Inside the truck is simple with only a vinyl bench seat and the necessary controls to operate the truck. This 1949 Chevrolet 3800 Flat Bed truck is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this 1949 Chevrolet 3600 Pick-Up Truck! This vehicle is part of Chevrolet’s Advance-Design series. Advance-Design was a truck series by Chevrolet, their first major redesign after WWII. It was billed as a larger, stronger, and sleeker design in comparison to the earlier AK Series. First available on Saturday June 28, 1947, these trucks were sold with various minor changes over the years until March 25, 1955, when the Task Force Series trucks replaced the aging Advance-Design model. 1951 Chevrolet 3100

1951 Chevrolet 3100

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: TH350
Mileage: 3,766 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a cool little 1951 Chevrolet 3100. This is a great shop truck, or daily driver. The body is a little rough around the edges and is finished in Hot Rod Gray which mimics the look of primer. Once you see the pinstriping you’ll realize this is all part of the look, and certainly is appealing on an old truck. Though it’s an old truck on the outside, underneath it’s been modernized quite a bit. The front suspension has been upgraded with that of a Pontiac LeMans which rides much better than the original. For power, it has a 350 CID V8 small block under the hood and a reliable TH350 transmission. The rear ratio is unknown but is more of a cruising gear, or highway gear for gas sipping travel. Inside you have the comfort of bucket seats, a tilt column, updated gauges, electric wipers, and “Early Air” which is the fresh air vent which comes in through the cowl. Completing the old school look on the outside are Keystone wheels, and a rad exhaust which exits through the fender. This truck runs, drives, and cruises down the road very comfortably. It has been used for multiple 5 hour weekend trips, and is ready for more. Whether you’re gearing up for the Hot Rod Power Tour, or just want a cool daily driver, this truck is a great fit. You can see this 1951 Chevrolet 3100 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

1979 Chevrolet Corvette

1979 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 350 CID V8 Crate Engine
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 61,265 ( actual )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a gloss black 1979 Chevrolet Corvette. The gloss black paint was sprayed 5 years ago in a 2-stage enamel and clear application. The oyster in color cloth interior has been upgraded by way of black leather bolsters in the seats and woodgrain trim on the console. A rack and pinion steering setup and coil over shocks in the rear help this Corvette handle better than it did when new. A Crate 350 CID V8 was installed 6 years ago and runs strong! The V8 engine features alloy valve covers, Edlebrock aluminum intake, a Holley fuel injection setup, and a D.U.I. distributor. An aluminum radiator has been employed to keep this Crate 350 cool on hot days. A rebuilt 700R4 automatic transmission was installed 3 years ago and shifts the power beautifully to the IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) with 3.08 gears. The odometer reads 61,265, which represents the actual mileage on the car, and approximately 25,000 on the Crate V8 engine. Options for this 1979 Chevrolet Corvette include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, T-Tops, Cruise Control, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Dropping a more powerful V8 engine is a very popular thing to do to a late C3 Corvette and should not be frowned upon by the purist. The original power output was certainly not Corvette worthy. This is a great example of a driver quality Corvette that is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner for years to come.
