Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1997 Mustang Cobra. Hold on to your seat as you look this thoroughbred Mustang Cobra over, you may lose your pants. This Cobra is Fast and Furious. Judging from the exterior this Mustang can easily be mistaken as normal, or a regular version Mustang Cobra. This venomous Cobra has potent power and is the ultimate sleeper. “A sleeper is a car that has high performance and an unassuming exterior”. Sleeper car exteriors appear similar or identical to a standard or economy-class car and in some cases, it appears worse due to seeming neglect on the owner's part, commonly referred to as "all go and no show.’ While appearing to be a standard car, internally they are modified with higher performance levels. This monster is packing a 4.6 extreme built motor. It is probably easier to ask what’s not been done to this motor, rather than what has been done. There are 84,000 miles on the frame and 3,000 break-in miles on the freshly built motor. The beastly engine consists of Manly Forged Pistons, Eagle 4340 Rods, Eagle Crank, Clevite Main and Rod Bearings, Felpro Gaskets, new oil pump, new timing chain and guide, Ford Racing 60 pound injectors, AEM 340 High Output Fuel Pump, Accufab Ellispe Throttle Body, Procharger High Output Intercooled Supercharger System, 3.1 pulley (9 pounds), SCT BA-2600 Big Air 90 MM MAF Sensor, Snow Performance Stage 1 Water and Methanol Kit (kicks in at 6 pounds of boost), MSD Coil Packs and Wires, Moroso Coolant Expansion Tank, HID Headlights and Foglights, Competition Stage 3 Clutch, and 3.73 gears. The car will make close to 700 horsepower with the correct pulley setup. Currently, this “Monster” is making 575 horsepower and 420 foot-pounds of torque. You can hear the Hooker Headers exhale through a BBK Offroad X Pipe and SLP Loudmouth Catback Exhaust. The interior has been upgraded with Corbeau LGL Wide Black Racing Seats, MOMO Steering Wheel and Hub, and AEM Black Faced Gauges. Gauges consist of TRU Boost, Wideband, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Hurst Short Shifter, Rear Seat Delete Kit, and Viper Alarm System. Exterior shows well with XXR 531 wheels powder coated black. 1997 Ford Mustang Cobra

1997 Ford Mustang Cobra

Engine: 4.6L V8 DOHC 32V
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 29285 ( actual )

The year was 1997 and demand for the 305-horsepower SVT Cobra remained high! Especially for convertibles, so the SVT team shifted more of its build mix towards the Cobra droptop with production now topping 3,000 units. With only 29,285 miles on this pony car it makes it a low mileage one owner car! The power plant of this Mustang is the 32-Valve 4.6 Liter V8 producing 300 lbs.-ft. @ 4800 rpm. When you mate it up to the 5-speed manual transmission it makes for a great driving experience that will satisfy your need for speed while still keeping the rpm’s low for cruising. Speaking of a need for speed this car will handle any curves thrown at it thanks to the modified MacPherson strut with separate spring on lower arm for the front. A rigid axle, upper and lower trailing arms, two hydraulic links, variable-rate coil springs, and 27mm stabilizer bar round out the rear suspension to complete the package. Helping this Mustang come to a stop are the 13 in. vented disc, PBR twin-piston calipers in the front of the car along with the 11.65 in. vented disc, single-piston caliper in the rear. The factory 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels look great on this car and are in the excellent shape. They are wrapped in Cooper P245/45ZR-17 radial tires. Only 925 of these cars were produced in the Rio Red color this year so don’t miss out on your chance to own this one! You can view this 1997 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT

1998 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT

Engine: 4.6L V8 F DOHC 32V
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 88336 ( actual )

Check out this gorgeous bright atlantic blue 1998 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra with only 88,340 miles on the odometer! The owner just recently returned from a 3,800 mile road trip and had zero hiccups with the great performance of this car. Thanks largely to the meticulous maintenance that has been performed on this car. Just in the past two years this car has had the following work done. 2016: Cleaned air filter, new stock clutch (including pressure plate, pilot bearing, throw-out bearing, everything you're supposed to replace with the clutch), replaced fuel pump, replaced battery, power steering fluid flush, Brake fluid flush, coolant flush, replaced shocks and struts, alignment performed. In 2017 they replaced the serpentine belt and tensioner, replaced radio buttons, old buttons were faded so they got a donor radio and swapped out the buttons, most recent oil change at 87,000 miles, always full synthetic. The car also has a new exhaust system from the headers back, installed in May of 2017. A BBK off-road X pipe, followed by an SLP Loudmouth I catback. It has a great modern muscle car sound to it. The only other modifications to the car are a K&N air filter and clear side marker lights put on by the previous owner, and the classic cue-ball shift knob. This car does include a Cobra bra to help protect the front end of the car if you wish to use it. There are numerous receipts that will be included with the car to help tell it’s history of being so well taken care of. This car has never been driven in snow, and it rarely sees rain. The finish has also been maintained well with regular waxing, and was recently clay barred a few months back. Speaking of the paint, it's a super rare color, only 563 Cobra coupes were made in this color, and only in '98. It's a shame, because I think it's the best color on any SN95 Mustang! . You can view this 1998 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra R

Engine: 5.8L V8 F
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual w/OD
Mileage: 7055 ( actual )

For sale in our Nashville, Tennessee show room is a pavement pounding 1995 SVT MUSTANG COBRA R, this is the premiere factory built road course Mustang. Over at Ford the SVT engineers developed a more powerful R-model competition package based on the 1995 SVT Cobra. The SVT team replaced the Mustang’s 5.0 small block with a new version of the 351 Windsor small block, developed and designed to produce 300 horsepower and an earth moving 365 ft lbs. of torque. To Handle the torque of the more powerful engine, a TREMEC five-speed manual transmission was installed, as well as a race ready 20 gallon Fuel-Safe fuel cell. True to its purpose, weight savings was key, so there is no back seat, no radio, no air conditioning... not even fog lights! Taking the place of the original fog lights the SVT team are air ducts for channeling cool air to the front brake discs. Heavy-duty progressive-rate springs, thicker stabilizer bars and a front strut tower brace helped improve handling. All said, only 250 vehicles were built, they were available only in white. This 1995 SVT Mustang Cobra R for sale is a prime example of a pedigreed street legal race car. Clean is an understatement, this snake was pampered and always garage kept and with only 7,055 miles on the odometer this car’s whole life is ahead of it. There are a few additions that make this car a real winner and ready for track days, including Momo racing seats and a bolt in harness bar to keep you secure and in control, a Steeda tri-ax shift kit to ensure you never miss a shift, Bassani side exhaust to let that 351w breath, and Toyo R 888 race tires to keep you planted on terra firma through the chicanes. If you’re ready to be First On Race Day… get behind the wheel of this 1995 SVT Mustang Cobra R. Mileage: 28712 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this cool #217 of 1000 produced 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible Indy Pace Car is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. 1994 saw a major redesign for the Ford Mustang, as well as Mustang's return to Indianapolis. The all-new 1994 Mustang Cobra convertible became the third Mustang to pace the Indy 500. 1000 replicas of the red-and-tan convertible were produced. The 94 Mustang was powered by a modified version of Ford's 5.0L V-8 engine that produced 240 horsepower. 1963 Indy winner Parnelli Jones was chosen to drive the pace car. This 1994 Indy Pace Car only has 28712 miles on it. The red paint is original and still in good shape. The Blue Oval emblem on the trunk has changed for a nice SVT Cobra badge. On the inside, the black and tan interior is as just like it was in 1994. A few billet dress up pieces have been added for a little extra bling. All the billet can be removed if needed, but in our opinion, the dress up items have been tastefully done. Under the hood, cold air intake has been added. The original air cleaner is still available, just in case you want to keep it all original. Lots of options are on this Mustang including; AC, AM/FM radio, CD player, convertible top, cruise control, lumbar support, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, keyless entry, seat belts, dual airbags, anti-theft system, leather interior, and aluminum 17" wheels. 1965 Ford Mustang

1965 Ford Mustang

Engine: 298 V6
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 32999 ( undocumented )

We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, Power mirrors etc… This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged "Hi-Po" "K-code" 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT"). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the "GT Equipment Package" and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as "Pony Interior" due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Ford's success at that year's Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14" rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5". Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Looking at this beautiful fire engine red truck is like an artist looking at an open idea. You can leave it the way it is and have loads of fun, or modify it to your liking. The overall stock look is very appealing with the bright red paint and black running boards. The simplistic chrome “dog dish” hub caps and painted steel wheels takes you down memory lane. There is just enough chrome displayed to add to the look, but not take away from the nostalgic feel. You don’t run into these 1953 Ford F100’s in this type of shape often. The simple basic feel carries right over into the light brown vinyl bench seat interior. This truck makes you want to hop in, drive to a huge open field, and sip a tall glass of lemonade. With only a few knobs and switches on the inside, the bright chrome gauge cluster captures your eyes showing speedometer, oil pressure, volts, water temp, and fuel. Powering this classic F100 is a Ford 289 “Y” block mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Adding to the vintage package is the fact that it is “three on the tree.” It doesn’t get much better than this when it comes to a pure throwback classic. If it’s too tame for you, let your imagination run wild. The best thing about this 1953 Ford F100 is the fact you know exactly what you’re dealing with. Options include Spare Tire, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and a Wood Slat truck bed. Don’t miss your opportunity to take a trip down memory lane. There is still plenty of country roads out there to explore and car shows to pull up to.
