We have an awesome 1970 Buick Le Sabre It features a gold exterior and black vinyl interior. It boasts a powerful 455ci motor backed by an automatic transmission. Only minor detail changes including grille and taillight revisions were made to the 1970 LeSabre. New features this year included a hidden radio antenna which amounted to two wires embedded in the windshield. Wheelbase was increased by one inch to 124 inches (3,100 mm), matching direct competitors such as Oldsmobile Delta 88, Mercury Monterey and Chrysler Newport. Both base and Custom models were again offered. Engines were revised with the standard 350 two-barrel V8 increased in horsepower from 230 to 260. A new option for 1970 was a low-compression regular-fuel version of the 350 four-barrel rated at 285 horsepower and the high-compression premium fuel 350 four-barrel V8 was reworked with horsepower upped to 315 on a 10.25 to 1 compression ratio. Added to the lineup was a new LeSabre 455 line which shared interior and exterior trimmings with the LeSabre Custom and was powered by Buick's new 455 cubic-inch V8 with four-barrel carburetor, 10.25 to 1 compression and 370 horsepower, which also required premium fuel. Transmission offerings included a standard three-speed manual with column shift for the base 350 two-barrel or optional three-speed Turbo Hydra-matic 350 automatic, which was standard equipment with the two 350 four-barrel engines. This transmission completely replaced the old two-speed automatic offered with the smaller base engines in past years, while the 455 was paired with the Turbo Hydra-matic 400. Buick now joined other GM divisions in marketing the automatic transmission under the Turbo Hydra-matic trade name rather than the "Super Turbine" designation used since 1964. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1970 Buick Le Sabre in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this incredible one family owned 1968 Buick Riviera located at our Philadelphia showroom in West Deptford, NJ! Starting in the late 1950s, General Motors needed a car that could compete against Ford’s personal luxury offerings. Enter the Riviera, a car that evoked the allure of the famed French coastline and borrowed its sleek styling from Europe’s best. 1968 marked the third year of the second-generation Riviera and this Buick retains much of its originality. While the car received a fresh coat of its factory maroon, the vinyl top is in the same condition it left the showroom in December of 1967. Loop-type bumpers surround this Buick’s recessed crosshatch grille and tail lamps while attractive wheels convey class and elegance. Open the doors to reveal a beautiful original black interior that has been well-kept by the same family for over 50 years! Powering this beauty is the numbers-matching 430 CID V8 engine which replaced the venerable 425 Nailhead that had powered much of Buick’s luxury fleet. The 430 V8, rated at 360 horsepower and 475 lb-ft torque were a vast improvement in performance as well as gas mileage which led to records in unit sales that year. Take a seat and turn the key to hear the beautiful exhaust notes as you cruise down the highway. It’s not often you see gorgeous original examples like this come across the classic market. Take advantage now by giving us a call today and putting this true American classic in your driveway! This 1967 Buick GS 400 convertible is special car as it carries the new generation V8 motor and sported the out of sight red "Star Wars" air cleaner! The entire GS package was coming together and forming its own identity instead of being an adjunct to the Skylark- Special series. Production of 1967 GS 400 convertibles was low to start with. Only about 2,140 cars in all forms. There were 9 three speed manual cars made and 422 four speed manual cars. Which leads us to our example finished in bright red. The white soft top looks incredible against the bold red paint, but with just one touch of a button, the power roof folds down to reveal an even more impressive interior. The rich black inside against the shining red paint has the kind of bold and sophisticated presentation you want from a Buick GS. All the best original trim is still in place, from the chrome GS 400 badges on the door panels, to the Buick crest sitting below the dash. Under the hood this car proudly shows off the 400 cubic-inch powerplant. It had an advertised 340 horsepower, but remember, those were days of underrating for the insurance people. After all, this big block V8 with the four-barrel carburetor has an unmistakably powerful rumble from the dual exhaust. And being equipped with the one wire ignition means this is one of the more reliable cars you can get your hands on from this era. You can view this 1967 Buick GS in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Up for sale in Gateway's Houston showroom is this super sweet 1971 Buick Skylark GS tribute car. The Buick Skylark needs no introduction and has been a staple in the classic muscle car scene for many years. There are many out there in the market but this one is particularly clean and cool. Powering this bad Skylark down the road is a time period correct 455 CiD V8 that is factory correct. It features the cold air induction system that is feed through the functional scoops in the hood. These big block Buick engines were notorious for the torque they delivered, and this is sure to provide all the thrills & sounds you would expect from such a powerhouse. It is paired to a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic transmission. The transmission is firm but not harsh, shifts smoothly up & down through the gears. The engine & transmission have both been rebuilt with approx.. 10k miles on them since their installation. Looking at the exterior of the car you will see the car has been repainted in its original color Silver Fern (#41) and it shows very well. It is free from very noticeable scratches, dings, dents, or blemishes. The clear coat shines look great out in the sun! The body is straight & true, and the paint was applied well, and the body panel gaps are parallel with each other and even. The car was restored to retain a more authentic and original look. The car sits on a newer set of American Racing 17-inch wheels that are wrapped in Kumho low profile tires that have plenty of life left in them. Getting into the drivers’ seat of the car you will see a mostly original and authentic restored interior that looks fantastic. Staying true to form with the car, the seats are covered in factory correct light green vinyl trim code #100. The carpet, door panels, headliner, dash, & glass are all in excellent condition. The seats are very comfortable & were obviously re-padded. With no cracks in the dash, no tears in the seats, this car is turn-key ready to go! The car shows very well but drives even better. The suspension has been updated & reconditioned. The doors open & close with ease. The car just drives like a classic should with no surprises. It has an amazing amount of torque off the line and it sounds like a real muscle car should. To see more pictures of this car please follow the link below. If you’re looking for a rare and show-quality car, look no further than this 1970 Buick GSX! The Gran Sport name has been used by Buick to denote several high-performance cars since 1965. Since Cadillac did not present an offering during the muscle car era, the Buick models are considered the most well-appointed GM sports models of the day. In 1970, the 400cid engine was replaced by the new 455cid V8. The base model was rated at 350hp and 510 ft-lb of torque. The optional Stage-1 version was rated at 360hp and 510 lb-ft of torque at 2800 rpm. The Stage-1 engine used cylinder heads that were machined differently to accept larger valves and to produce a tighter compression ratio. The option also included a more aggressive camshaft, specially tuned Quadra jet carburetor, more aggressive ignition timing, 5/8” oil pickup tube and a higher numerical final drive. Also, in 1970, GM decided to step up yet another notch with the GSX high performance package. The GSX was Buicks’ answer to the Pontiac GTO Judge and was introduced relatively late in the 1970 model year. As a result, only 678 GSXs were produced that year and only 400 with the Stage 1 engine option. The impressive performance has become a legend unto its own and is partly due to the light weight of the 455 (150 lbs less than the 426 Hemi). The torque rating was also the highest output of any American production performance car, a record held for 33 years until finally surpassed by the V10 Viper in 2003. The 1970 Buick GSX came in 2 colors, Saturn Yellow and Apollo White, a full black interior, and has arguably the most extensive list of standard high-performance features of any classic era muscle car. We are thrilled to have this Yellow 1970 frame-off restored beauty in our Milwaukee showroom. The numbers-matching Stage-1 455 has been completely rebuilt and the owner states 1,100 miles since. The transmission was replaced with a rebuilt period correct Muncie M22 4-speed manual with 3.64 limited slip differential. This is a non-AC car and includes power steering and power brakes. Styling features unique to the GSX include a distinctive full body length black stripe crossing over the rear spoiler, hood mounted tachometer and black front spoiler. Also standard are black bucket seats, quick ratio steering, anti-sway bars front and rear and quad-link suspension. This 1970 GSX is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information.
